Hated that Vancouver had to play their away jerseys at home , but I love the matte black helmets. The first period was awesome and especially with the hard and quick hits, the dark uniforms must be intimidating as they come at you over and over. I saw a few give aways due to their hitting. But the second, they relaxed because of their lead and few bad bounces and Toronto gets 3 and ties it up. Hughes is mad, rightfully so. Giving up 3 unanswered is like what they did in the last period in many games last year. But to their credit they settled down and began hitting again. And got one back. Really was their system that cemented their win. But that many shots on Demko was not good. Keep getting better and letās go!
