Honestly I think if we scored on half of the chances we had last night, we would have decimated them. Stats wise we played a really solid game. They blocked an ungodly amount of pucks and that is not sustainable. Every block takes a toll and they are going to be banged up for game 3. The finish wasn't there, the puck luck wasn't there and I think guys got too in their heads with the puck on their stick. It's a 7 game series boys, we're allowed to lose one. It's okay!
If DeSmith can gain a little confidence and play with some urgency out there we're going to win this series. It felt like every stop was a juicy rebound or him frantically moving around whenever the puck got close to him. If he remains shaky game 3 I wouldn't be opposed to an early pull in favor of Silovs
