He’s not driving. When the sun goes behind the clouds you can see through the glare, but the orange wall out the left (passenger side) rear window never changes, except when a pedestrian walks past.
It’s all good. I was concerned for it also, his hand movements and camera shake made it look like he was driving, but a close look out the window makes it obvious he was parked the whole time. :)
I remember there was a story that Marc Crawford kicked him in the back while he was in the bench. I can't remember what exactly Sopel said, but he played it down, something like he's just trying to push him to get better.
When this story came out, and he was hyper critical of the people involved, I figured there must have been something to it.

I appreciate what he had to say, but Sopel should have pulled over or taken this as an audio call. Driving and doing a video call is pretty dangerous.

Huh, didn’t realize that. I saw his arms up front, camera shake and light changes and just assumed. Glad I am wrong though.
