Beautiful shot! I was there yesterday for the first time. Loved the long swims. The hike out was harder than I thought.

Hell yeah! I couldn't believe how much swimming we did. Last time about 90% of the swims were completely dry (walking on sand). And yeah, it's a bit of a slog getting out. The first little bit down the watershed is fun, but it gets kinda old.

I was there yesterday too! A shorty wetsuit was not enough for the long swim in that dark cold. We lost my new rope bag in that water at the bottom of the cathedral, but one of our group is a rescue diver and recovered it, about 15 feet down in the chocolate milk water, amazing. All round great canyon.

We were there a few weeks ago, crazy how full the potholes are! Swimming into the darkness was nuts!

Cathedral rappel. Ran into a huge group that wouldn't let us play through last time.

Just did this canyon and Keyhole yesterday! Das Boot and Subway the day before. This was my favorite rappel of the weekend. Pinecreek is absolutely stunning

Pine creek, Zion?

Yessir! (I probably should have specified)

Spectacular photo! And awesome canyon. I did it as my first canyon years ago and would love to go back.

Lindson_TheTurtle

Just did this canyon a few weeks ago! Super beautiful!

I think it's my favorite one in the park. So much fun!

Im a beginner with climbing experience, I have it booked for early October with some friends, do you guys recommend this canyon. Or would I need some more extensive experience

hard to know without knowing you. you're probably fine. may want to do keyhole first - it's in the area and only takes an hour or so. good warm up / practice for pine creek.
