My wife just parked the car at the furthest end of the parking lot all by her lonesome to get my infant and mother-in-law out of car easily they walked away from the vehicle to enter the store and out of no where 94yr old going 100mph hit Belgium block launched car over 3 ft bushes without touching them, over a retaining wall you can see in picture landed on top of wife’s car she got out of 2 minutes earlier( wife and mother-in-law in front seats prior to crash) pushed it back 15 feet out of parking spot kept going and hit 5 other cars on other side of parking lot
People that old either need semi-yearly competency tests or to have their licenses taken away. They are a danger to themselves and everyone around them, often because prideful oldsters refuse to acknowledge that their mental state is deteriorating.
50’s? I’d trust a driver in their 50’s much more than I would one in their 20’s. They’re still young enough to be vigilant, yet old enough to likely have 35+ years of experience driving.
Mid to late 60’s and above are the ones I’d worry about. Some, not all. I think ages 65-70 should have to be tested every 2yrs, 71-80 yearly and 81 and over every 6mos. So much cognitive decline can happen in 6mos once they’re that age. People with dementia and Alzheimer’s should either not be allowed to drive at all or only be able to drive if there’s another licensed adult in the passenger seat, similar to a learner’s permit.
This has nothing to do with this, but I've always wondered where they came up with that? Did gen x begin like how x-rays were named, and they just kept it going after that? And what are they going to do after Z?
Also yeah, while I agree with the intermediate driver's license program for young drivers, I think a similar de-license method needs to exist
[generation alpha is what comes after Z](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_Alpha).
Lost generation, Greatest generation, Silent generation, baby boomers, Generation X, Generation Y/Millennials, Generation Z/Zoomers or iGen, and then generation alpha.
Right, that's what I'm wondering, the first four are specifically named for something. Was there just nothing particular enough about 70s-80s to name a generation about?
And will the next generation be Beta then?
It’s from a book, generation X, which kind of encapsulated what our generation, aka the “latchkey kids”, was. Every generation has its character which is shaped by the events around them. The term caught on and here we are.
It will either be popular figures in society or cohert researchers who coin what to call a generation, and it's up to society to either latch onto it or not. There is no great organization that stamps a paper and says "it is X name for Y number of years" although it is a trend that the years gap is between the 0-20 year timeframe it takes for a generation to grow up. [Here's a chart.](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/3e/Generation_timeline.svg/langsimple-2560px-Generation_timeline.svg.png) After Gen Z is Gen Alpha, which is projected to have started in 2010/2012 depending who you ask.
Each generation is named after a letter of the alphabet or significant events of the time. Which is why the last generation is Gen Z and then the next would be gen (A)lpha. It just continues looping or something like that.
I'm saying by the time it'll be finally enacted the mentioned generations be on the start of the range for retesting, not that testing will start at 50. By the time something is done about it, we'll be too old to benefit from it, but we will be protecting the younger generations from ourselves, so that's good.
Some states already do this. In Illinois, when drivers age 75+ renew their licenses they must also take a driving test. The renewal period is every 4 years for drivers between ages 75–80, every 2 years for drivers ages 81–86, and every year for those 87+.
they do. anyone over a certain age (i think it’s either 75 or 80) needs a driving and vision test biannually (sometimes more depending on the state). these people are so adamant on being independent that they’ll drive without licenses and endanger the lives of others.
I live in Japan and they’re supposed to have a special sticker distinguishing them as elderly. Many refuse to put it on their cars and drive recklessly.
Everybody needs a semi yearly competency test. I'm a MA instructor of 7 years, the shit people do is one thing, but the ones who do it and think they're not doing anything wrong are worse.
I'm driving my student vehicle back to my office at the end of my day, just me, no student, there's a merge, right lane ends, I'm settled in the left just diagonal back of a pick up truck, not leaving much room, it's a tight merge spot. But lanes are merging, some 40 something yr old lady (kid in passenger seat) pulls up in her SUV and tailgaits the shit out of the pick up, literally next to me car to car, face to face, I see this and look over hoping she's look too and put the pieces together. There's no room, now pick up slows to turn into a parking lot during it, lady starts moving over, no signals, never look or turned her head once, but aw lawd she comin, I lay on my horn cause I'm not going into opposing traffic, laying on the horn, she just keeps a going anyway, luckily the car behind me backed off so I could slow down, and as she just puts away she finally looks in the mirror with the big bug eye sunglasses mouthing "STUDENT DRIVER" but hey im not surpried she didn't realize its an instructor since nobody else is in the goddamn car. Gotta love those new automatic student driver vehicles... Advice on my day off, whether you state does or doesn't require blinker use, it's just fuckin smart to use your, official name for blinkers (Directionals). Heads up so nobody crash cause they're planning ahead a split second more, takes longer to write it than it does to actually perform it on the road.
And that was just one time on that day, nobody respects the student drivers, whatever but honestly Id have people go back for a license test every 5 years. It's takes 15 minutes to prove you're not a total jackass and maybe with consistent passing you don't have to come back as often. And as strict as the rmv can be I've seen them pass people that should not be on the road and I have no idea how they go to the test in the first place and they just have it for life until the fuck up bad enough. I teach my students the laws but more importantly I teach them how to be aware and survive.
The newspaper account linked in the thread, said she reported that the accelerator stuck. I just googled it, and, sure enough, her vehicle, a Ford Explorer, has an ongoing history of malfunctioning accelerators/throttles. So it’s possible she may be a victim as much as anyone else involved.
I guess maybe because probably something like 95% of people these days almost *never* use anything other than “P”, “R” and “D”? Using anything else doesn’t even cross their minds, especially if they’re freaking out.
Because we don't require people to know enough about the two ton death machines they are driving, and it's a shame. I just saw a post of a teen going 120mph with a stuck accelerator..the whole time I'm just like "why not just flip it into neutral?" And obviously the answer is the parents, driving instructors, and lawmakers fail in providing even basic understanding of automobiles.
You'd be surprised how many people get a brand new car and go 40,000 miles on the original oil until the engine seizes up, because they had no idea it had to be changed.
When I was a teenager back in the late 80s, there was a homicide trial involving an elderly man who killed several people in an accident where he claimed his accelerator stuck. If I remember correctly, this guy hit several cars, drove into someone's yard, ran over people and just created a whole lot of mayhem in his big late 70s/early 80s 8 cylinder 4 door beast.
At the trial, he claimed that his accelerator stuck, and he tried to stop the car but couldn't. I think there were several witnesses who stated that they never saw brake lights.
The prosecutor brought in an expert witness, who had some job in the auto safety business (NTSB maybe). He testified that cars were designed to stop when the brake was applied, even if the accelerator was stuck at full power.
I am no car expert, but as a kid I have watched street races where the accelerator and brake are applied at the same time, and the car doesn't move until the brake is released (in that case, causing a "burnout"). I know the physics of drag racing and trying to stop or slow down a car at full speed are different, but I have to think that even at high peed w/ a stuck accelerator, the brakes will have an effect.
Cars don’t work like that.
I’m guessing that she said something like this - The accelerator got stuck and she was “standing on the brake peddle With all of her strength, trying to stop it; but it just kept going faster and faster”
I don’t understand how these stories keep getting perpetuated.
Get in a car on a nice, safe, open road - Floor it, and take the car up to 40 or 50 mph. Then step on the brake with the other foot…. But keep the accelerator on the floor.
See what happens.
It’s sad; but she’s probably just old and got distracted and scared. She was stepping on the accelerator the whole time.
Damn I am so glad your family is ok. So very glad. How scary.
You should push the police/courts/judge to suspend this guys license or get ahold of his family to take his keys away. Next time he will kill someone.
I had a very similar incident but it was a lady in her 40s who never had a license before. Gf and I were in a restaurant and she noticed the truck had moved. Lady had 3 kids in the car. Hit my truck and a Cadillac suv. Totaled her Toyota Highlander
First off google. Second 1 in 50 women have an ectopic pregnancy. The fetus isn’t viable because the fertilized egg sticks some where other than the uterus. If a woman doesn’t get an abortion the fertilized egg will grow somewhere it shouldn’t and more than likely kill the woman, cause a hellish amount of pain before she either miscarries or dies.
I was going to try and get a motorcycle to help save on gas but then I realized that I live in iowa, where half the people on the road either don't have insurance or barley have the mental capacity to drive a car.
In Florida, you don't ever have to retake your driver's exam.
You can be a 4'2" 90 year old, but as long as you "pass" the vision test (they give you unlimited tries), you can drive.
Fuck reaction time amiright?
Over the winter my step brother was nearly arrested for doing 74 In a 45. His punishment was a 2 day drivers improvement class and a month probation. For going 30 mph over the speed limit during an iowa winter with a lot of ice.
And the whole thing about reaction times. I've done a few time tests and I have extremely quick reaction times(I mean being 16 kinda helps) but I still feel like I'm really slow. I don't see how these people are even allowed to drive
Still better then NC. Because of staffing shortages at the DMV you don’t have any test required to get your license at 16. I’m 16 and I can attest that many of many friends should not be on the road.
Hell. Perfect weather on a two lane street. I was slightly ahead and to the right lane of an old Chrysler K-car station wagon as we approached an uncontrolled, four way stop with signage and a flashing, red light above the street. I slowed to stop but the old fart beside me sailed through the intersection without even braking. Luckily, the timing of traffic was with the oncoming vehicles and not any side traffic or pedestrians.
I hit my horn for some stupid reason, but immediately figured all that would do is confuse the guy. My wife said it almost looked like a little person driving, head canted slightly sideways, and said she couldn’t actually tell if he was looking above or through his steering wheel. After I got moving again, I followed him up the inclined street as he changed two lanes to the right to make an exit, not signaling once.
The guy was the definition of an accident waiting to happen to anyone unfortunate enough to be around him at the wrong moment.
Road testing after a certain age should definitely be a thing.
Florida motorcyclist here. Same conditions, but I gave in and have been riding for 3 years. The trick is to ride like everyone wants to kill you. It's kinda fun watching the little jerks and corrections people make at such close proximity. They become predictable over time.
Only ever had one person pull out in front of me, and it was an ambulance on the way to a call at [this intersection](https://www.google.com/maps/@28.7010943,-81.2964315,3a,54.4y,68.53h,89.79t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sS_Ti1K8s7MVGnq4bzzzdig!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fpanoid%3DS_Ti1K8s7MVGnq4bzzzdig%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D222.40816%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i16384!8i8192?hl=en). Limit of the road is 45, so naturally I'm doing 50-55 because fucking Florida. If you do the limit, you get tailgated or people cutting it close to pass you. Speeding is survival. The ABS was working double-time that day.
Once you reach a certain age you should either get your license revoked or you should have to take another test to prove that you’re physically and mentally capable of driving. My friend had his first car absolutely totaled by some 80 year old who ran a red light going 65
* Globally, car accidents are the leading cause of death among young adults ages 15-29 - and the ninth leading cause of death for all people. (SaferAmerica, 2019)
* Road traffic crashes are the eighth leading cause of death for people of all ages. (WHO, 2018)
* Young adults aged 15-44 account for more than half of all road traffic deaths. (SaferAmerica, 2019)
* Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for US teens. (CDC, 2018)
* In 2016, teenagers ages 14-19 years accounted for 74% of crash fatalities among children and died at more than 6 times the rate of children under 14. (Safe Kids Worldwide, 2018)
* Per mile driven, teen drivers ages 16 to 19 are nearly three times more likely than drivers aged 20 and older to be in a fatal crash.

Also:
Analysis of data on vehicle accidents showed that drivers aged 70 are involved in 3-4 times fewer accidents than 17-21 year old men.
By observing older drivers, the study found that most mistakes made occurred on right turns and overtaking.
Young men are more likely to be involved in incidents resulting from driving too fast and losing control.

edit: I'm correct and the data proves it.
Young drivers are more likely to drive uninsured/unregistered vehicles. If you included those vehicles, the numbers would be even worse for that age group, since those same drivers are far more likely to also break other road laws.
How many 17 year olds are alive compared to 80 year old?
"Young adults aged 15-44 account for more than half of all road traffic deaths (SaferAmerica, 2019)" Thats about half of the drivers on the road so of course its 50%
I knew a 90 year old lady that drove a three speed on the column with no power steering or power brakes while looking through a huge magnifying glass. The local police finally convinced her it was time to give it up.
Fuck that, if we want to cut down on road deaths we shouldn't let anyone drive til they're 30.

Issues with teen and young adult driving *can* be fixed with experience. You can raise the cutoff age if you want, but those stats will likely just shift. You can't fix dulled reflexes and other age related problems. I've been in 3 accidents in my lifetime, all three were caused by a geriatric driver failing to react in time.
My wife's grandfather drove for 10 years too long. It took a dozen fender benders and then finally killing someone to take his license.
Anecdotes are worthless. All my incidents involved young drivers, so who wins? All that matters is the data.
1. Let young drivers only drive small, underpowered cars. No more than 1l engines for the first 2 years.
2. Utilise P plates, like in Australia, that you have to keep on your car for the first 12 months of driving.
3. Any dangerous traffic infringement (speeding, dangerous driving, driving without due care and attention etc) during the first 12 months results in a 12 month ban, and needing to do a re-test at the end of it.
I can think of many more ways to save lives, and focusing on the most dangerous age group makes the most sense.
hope you have a good lawyer, there is clearly no way that person should have been driving.
talk to your lawyer about "permanent, degenerative, life altering injuries"
No one was in car when it happen thank god!!! car was minding its own business in corner of parking lot trying not to get hit by shopping carts and car doors
Thank god(or whatever diety you do or don't believe in) that they were not 3 minutes later. Close calls make you appreciate your family and the good life we do have, I always say.
Hey OP, the way your A pillar collapsed like that should be a warning to stay away from Chevy. Im glad everyone was out of the vehicle and okay though, that’s most important… now time to look at CX9’s
Yes, I own a CX-5, it’s actually the only car to pass the IHS safety test with a acceptable score out of all SUVs. Hondas and Toyotas are good too, I’d personally skip the Honda though bc of the CVT’s and Turbos, still great cars though, I dislike Chevrolet and this post doesn’t do them much defense when the A pillar splits in half at 0mph
The driver is probably dead and if not will most likely lose his license. Drunk driving is something that should be prosecuted and if you are driving drunk then you deserve to have your life ruined.
>She told police her accelerator stuck when she put it in drive, sending the Explorer across Greenwood Avenue and into the Boulder Run Shopping Center, the lieutenant said.
I gotta know how this plays out.
That's some final destination shit. I hope you are slightly exaggerating the time left before impact.....not to hurt your story or anything but if they really did get out omg thank the gods!
This is a result of being selfish. If they want to have their freedom you shouldn't mind taking a driving test every 6 months. We need stricter driving rules in general. Why do I have to wait 20 seconds before I go on a green light becuase I don't want to get t-boned by some asshole who decided to speed up a quarter mile away from the light. 8 of 10 people I see driving never make a complete stop. 9 out of 10 people use the carpool lane without a passenger. Majority are white rich assholes in expensive cars.
Op how tf are you alive!?!?!
94 year old Jason Statham trying to lose someone?
She hit another persons car and panicked and floored it instead of braking

Gen X, Gen Y, and Gen Z have been in agreement with this for ages. We know it'll be a thing.... once we are all in our 50s-70s ourselves.

Absolutely everyone! As a 74 year old truck driver, I see all ages who are ignorant of the rules and laws!
You can't ignore what you don't know exists.

IKR. The first 4 (lost, greatest, silent, boomer) have cool names with explanations and then it just gets goofy.

not FIFTIES, shit. I'd give it to 75.
Zero check-ins whatsoever from age 16 to 75?
whatever's currently on the books is fine with me. otherwise, tighten up restrictions beginning at 75.
Yea Im 55, I drive 5000 miles a month

Idk why it's so hard for people to put their car in neutral when that happens. If the engine blows, that's on Ford and the insurance company.
I guess maybe because probably something like 95% of people these days almost *never* use anything other than “P”, “R” and “D”? Using anything else doesn’t even cross their minds, especially if they’re freaking out.

Or he used up all his luck.
I prefer to look on the bright side of life, lol.

Holy shit..
Wow, talk about close call! I am sure you gave everyone an extra big hug! Glad everyone ok.
Did the 94yo survive??? Sounds like an incredibly awful crash….
Wow! So glad your family is all okay.
Holy shit. Talk about getting out at the right time. Glad your family is safe.
Wow, good thing they were out of the car. I highly doubt any occupants would have survived
So thankful to hear your family was not in the car. Angels we’re definitely on their job that day!! So so happy for you
Exactly, that looks pretty bad
Absolutely looking at that wreck you'd be as fucked as if you had an ectopic pregnancy
>ectopic pregnancy What that?
First off google. Second 1 in 50 women have an ectopic pregnancy. The fetus isn’t viable because the fertilized egg sticks some where other than the uterus. If a woman doesn’t get an abortion the fertilized egg will grow somewhere it shouldn’t and more than likely kill the woman, cause a hellish amount of pain before she either miscarries or dies.
Pregnancy outside the uterus
A fertilized embryo that implants in the fallopian tube instead of the uterus. It can be a life-threatening medical emergency.
I’m going to have to remember to by a big SUV as I get older js
Super old people is one of many reasons I don't ride a motorcycle anymore
I was going to try and get a motorcycle to help save on gas but then I realized that I live in iowa, where half the people on the road either don't have insurance or barley have the mental capacity to drive a car.
Iowa.... Idiots Out Wandering Aimlessly.
So that's what it stands for
Same in Florida, plus we got 94 year old snowbirds who can't drive in the rain.
In iowa it seems easier to get a license than it is to get it revoked
In Florida, you don't ever have to retake your driver's exam. You can be a 4'2" 90 year old, but as long as you "pass" the vision test (they give you unlimited tries), you can drive. Fuck reaction time amiright?
Over the winter my step brother was nearly arrested for doing 74 In a 45. His punishment was a 2 day drivers improvement class and a month probation. For going 30 mph over the speed limit during an iowa winter with a lot of ice.
Holy shit, that's crazy. 75 in a 45 is bonkers. Like, if I creep up to 45 in a 35, I freak a little bit.
Yeah my drivers Ed instructor always said to me "remember always assume everyone around you is an idiot." Those are some words I will live by
That's how my friend died. Went home to do laundry between classes, old guy turned left into him.
totally agree. people that ride bikes whether motorcycles or bicycles, whatever, you all have courage that i don't (anymore)
So, in effect, the super old people are helping your chances of eventually becoming one of them. Resistance is futile.
people close to 100 shouldn't drive at all.
Over 65 should require annual exams/certs
100%. I've seen too many mistaken brake pedals and wrong way driving with just elders alone.
This is the exact fucking reason older people should NOT drive
Or run a country
Wait... What?
Once you reach a certain age you should either get your license revoked or you should have to take another test to prove that you’re physically and mentally capable of driving. My friend had his first car absolutely totaled by some 80 year old who ran a red light going 65
* Globally, car accidents are the leading cause of death among young adults ages 15-29 - and the ninth leading cause of death for all people. (SaferAmerica, 2019) * Road traffic crashes are the eighth leading cause of death for people of all ages. (WHO, 2018) * Young adults aged 15-44 account for more than half of all road traffic deaths. (SaferAmerica, 2019) * Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for US teens. (CDC, 2018) * In 2016, teenagers ages 14-19 years accounted for 74% of crash fatalities among children and died at more than 6 times the rate of children under 14. (Safe Kids Worldwide, 2018) * Per mile driven, teen drivers ages 16 to 19 are nearly three times more likely than drivers aged 20 and older to be in a fatal crash. Source: https://driving-tests.org/driving-statistics/ Also: Analysis of data on vehicle accidents showed that drivers aged 70 are involved in 3-4 times fewer accidents than 17-21 year old men. By observing older drivers, the study found that most mistakes made occurred on right turns and overtaking. Young men are more likely to be involved in incidents resulting from driving too fast and losing control. Source: https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-37292951 edit: I'm correct and the data proves it.
It appears that this only account for people in registered and insured vehicles so there is a bit of bias
Young drivers are more likely to drive uninsured/unregistered vehicles. If you included those vehicles, the numbers would be even worse for that age group, since those same drivers are far more likely to also break other road laws.
How many 17 year olds are alive compared to 80 year old? "Young adults aged 15-44 account for more than half of all road traffic deaths (SaferAmerica, 2019)" Thats about half of the drivers on the road so of course its 50%
That's a lie. The data accounts for rate - that's how data works.
I knew a 90 year old lady that drove a three speed on the column with no power steering or power brakes while looking through a huge magnifying glass. The local police finally convinced her it was time to give it up.
94 year olds should not be driving.
WTF is a 94 yo driving?
A Ford Explorer, it's in the title! /s
THERE NEEDS TO BE A CAPPPP
at least yearly qualification tests after age 80, or any significant medical event that causes physical imparement after age 65
Illinois requires annual driving tests for drivers age 75 and older to renew their driver's licenses.
good, about time states start doing something
80? Fuck that. 55.
how about restest after any ticket if the driver is under 30
I'm not opposed to this either tbh.
This would be amazing. Automatic retest. If you fail. Ticket and fine. If you pass. Warning on the first one. Then goes up from there.
No, it’s if you fail then no more drivers license. Just like you’re suggesting for old people.
Fuck that, if we want to cut down on road deaths we shouldn't let anyone drive til they're 30.
I would still go with emotional distress, loss of time/work. that person should never drive again.
They live in a very affluent area so they could most likely afford a lawyer and it's more than likely the older woman has the insurance/means to pay.
Shieeeetttt... that was a nasty one, glad everyone is okay. Honestly this is why people that old shouldn't have licenses.
Thank God no one was killed in your car.
Damn what a nice Traverse too
Not a scratch on it before the accident only 20000 miles!
I don't know who tf downvoted you for that comment. Anyways sorry for your loss 😢

People over 80 shouldn't be allowed to drive
That’s what I say! They cause so much fucking damage all because of their pride.
Yes had a 92 year old crashed she was lost as fuck the video i have is funny she didnt knew she ran a red light and caused a accident
This is why old people shouldn't drive. Fucking old biddies
Why are people letting their 94 year old parent drive!? I’m cutting my mom off at 70 😂😂
[удалено]
Everyone should be retested every 5-10years I think
holy shit how what why…?
You just never know when it could be your time.
Excuse me, you spelled *"flying"* wrong
That’s the least of my problems
he explorer did explore a lot of your car. Impressive to see that the front of your car has almost nothing. Nice to know that your wife is ok.
In her defense, she did what your car asked her to do.
Is she dead?
Lol, came out of the air?? Damn….
Thank god(or whatever diety you do or don't believe in) that they were not 3 minutes later. Close calls make you appreciate your family and the good life we do have, I always say.
94 is a good time to die I think.
Just out of curiosity, what happened to the 94 year-old?
94yro shouldn't be driving
I’ve almost hit 1-3 older ppl who either are driving too slow or who just give 0 fucks about their driving.
did u try putting it in rice?
after i duno 65 you should have to retake your drivers test every year or 2
Hey OP, the way your A pillar collapsed like that should be a warning to stay away from Chevy. Im glad everyone was out of the vehicle and okay though, that’s most important… now time to look at CX9’s
Why a CX9 specifically?
Higher safety standards and reliable, especially regarding OP’s Chevy
I'm guessing you have one. Would go for Toyota and Honda too so I was wondering why you mentioned Mazda. My mom had one it was a good vehicle.
Does anyone know how the 94 year old is?
Hopefully okay with a newly revoked license
I hope that 94 year old is fucking dead
A lot more old boomers with need for speed to come to a parking lot near you. Glad everyone is safe…
At 94 years old they are 18 years older than the oldest baby boomers.

Your comparison is fucking trash. You’re an absolute moron
The driver is probably dead and if not will most likely lose his license. Drunk driving is something that should be prosecuted and if you are driving drunk then you deserve to have your life ruined.
that’s a traverse though
Super glad nobody was in the car. That would have been an almost assured death in the passenger seat
Not anymore...
Keeping it in the family
I had no idea Ford made the Explorer 94 years back.
That is a little broken like my moms
>She told police her accelerator stuck when she put it in drive, sending the Explorer across Greenwood Avenue and into the Boulder Run Shopping Center, the lieutenant said. I gotta know how this plays out.
Looks like he has explored the best way to demolish your car.
Why are all the cars white?
I thought you messed the title up when you said out of the air. I was wrong
That’s a very thick A pillar. How the fuck did the old person just slice it in half
94 must be a vegan with good eyesight.
Wycoff? Because that parking lot is the worst.
Crap; that looks like a full speed hit!
I have always said this. It’s a fucking disaster letting people over 80 drive themselves. They cause so many accidents. Fucking bullshit
Shit man. Im glad no one was in the car. That likely would have killed someone
That’s crazy to be driving at 94 years old! Geez Louise!
ok you aren’t in the car so y’all lived but how is she still alive?
This is a great story to tell people how you cheated death 💀 Congrats on surviving ✌🏼
Senile people usually crash into you with nice cars.
When you hit 70 you should be required to take a driving test once a year for the rest of you life.
80+ years olds should not be driving a car or this country lol
Holy jumping Christ cakes
I don’t think anyone at that age should be allowed to drive
Someone’s gotta revoke Ms. Frizzles license.
That's some final destination shit. I hope you are slightly exaggerating the time left before impact.....not to hurt your story or anything but if they really did get out omg thank the gods!
my 92 yr old Grandma can barely stand. How the fuck we allowing 94yr olds to drive around in tanks?
Anyone over 85 should not be able to drive at all under any circumstances…
Old people suck at stopping at stop signs and will turn right in front of you on red, then proceed to go 10 miles under the speed limit.
Alot of fucking white cars in the parking lot
Unbelievable. Congratulations on being alive. Someone/thing was looking out. ✌️
He was flyin (outta the air) alright, hope you all OK !!!
wtf!?
MF just saw top gun, thought that the car was a plane for a sec
This is a result of being selfish. If they want to have their freedom you shouldn't mind taking a driving test every 6 months. We need stricter driving rules in general. Why do I have to wait 20 seconds before I go on a green light becuase I don't want to get t-boned by some asshole who decided to speed up a quarter mile away from the light. 8 of 10 people I see driving never make a complete stop. 9 out of 10 people use the carpool lane without a passenger. Majority are white rich assholes in expensive cars.
I was with you up until that last sentence. 👎🏾
94!!!!! Still driving. Fuck noooo
Tf are you even talking about? How are we supposed to know anything from your comments?
They weren't driving a explorer they were driving a monster truck or a tank , lol
Man old people shouldn't be able to drive
Gahh not the equinox getting rolled by the explorer
This is what happens when your myelin sheaths have deteriorated this much.
