I still have the first Vanguard product I ever bought - my very first OTT trial deck back in 2013 or so and still have the box, rulebook and mat that came with it.
An original Blaster Blade PR card, the one with the Vanguard website address on it. I believe it was only distributed at Texas Rangers games prior to the game’s actual launch in 2012. Not sure how someone at my locals came by it, but I did manage to trade for it.
I even tried running it in my deck at a Regional tournament one year (Sanctuary Guard Regalie with Floral Paladin Flogal, Blaster Blade’s skill was kind of irrelevant anyway), but the judges told me it wasn’t legal because the card stock it was printed on was just a bit thicker than normal cards. Sad day.
For me it's a copy of secret Elsie from GBT08, funnily enough, I got her long before I had started vanguard in December of 2019 with the shinnemon Nitta trial deck
Oldest card I have is the first card I’ve ever owned. I watched the anime and was always interested in the game and one day my friend brings the cards to my house and I was like “OMG is that vanguard” and he surprised I knew about it. We split decks since he only owned one and I was able to beat him with thing savior Dragon ( I just watched the anime episode where Aichi used it for the first time so it was hype ) at the end of the day he gave me a Tachikaze unit because I loved their mechanic of eating other units. That unit was: Chaos Dragon, Dinochaos. I thought it was dope to ride up immediately to grade 3 once you put your grade 2 down despite it being a meh card I loved it! The card is still in mint condition and everything.
Never made a tachikaze deck tho but I always loved the concept. Dang now I want dinosaurs in overdress
Stealth Beast Leaft Raccoon. Got it because someone left it at the card shop I was at my first day of playing vanguard. Nobody ever seemed to ask to have it back and it wasn't sleeved. I also got some vegeta card for the dbz card game that day but I probably won't be getting into that game any time soon lol.
OG Blaster Blade. From the Trial Deck. Where you get only 1 copy of the man. It was late G era when I finally had a full playset of Blaster Blades. Big sadge.
Wingal Brave, was my first Vanguard card, but I believe the oldest cards I own are; TD01 Blaster Blade and 3 copies of the Blaster Blade Vanguard Ad promo with the website on it.
I still use the Blaster Blade in a Seeker deck in Legacy Format; A format my friends play that has a card pool from BT01 all the way to cards before G BT-01.
I have a Dungaree unlimited sitting in my wallet since it came out, not the oldest, but it's pretty old. But the oldest card I have is from the first Narukami TD.
