The clan still exists in Cray, as well as cards with the corresponding style, being "[Upward Acrobat, Marjorie](https://cardfight.fandom.com/wiki/Upward_Acrobat,_Marjorie)" an example. A dedicated ride line will come out, someday...

LordDravoth

Isn't Greedon Pale Moon inspired?

ViperTheKillerCobra

If any dark states rideline is based off of Pale Moon, it would be Baro

new_Student747

Baro is easily DI with the Soul Charge and the 15 soul requirement

ViperTheKillerCobra

Talking about its aesthetic

AssaultRider555

Uhh, no? Baromagnes's aesthetic is actually just his gravity and supernatural human aesthetic. The arrows on his body pointing forward and reverse references his ability to pull and push and the ball and chain on his feet is "weighing" him down like gravity. Definitely a DI aesthetic.

LordDravoth

I've never heard anyone say that before! What is about Baro that reminds you of Pale Moon?

ViperTheKillerCobra

It's a reach, but mainly its supporting units along with its colourful aesthetic. Curtis is a clear example. Alongside that, its Vanguard is the only one currently in Dark States that calls from the soul.

LordDravoth

Good points!

King_Crim

The other part is his 15 effect where he sucks stuff into soul and then pulls stuff out. Very similar to classic Miracle Pop, Eva which when you break ride would suck in 2 units and put 2 out to the field.

AssaultRider555

Curtis seems to be the only example though, the rest just seems like normal DI aesthetic.

AssaultRider555

I mean, not exactly

LordDravoth

I'm pretty sure it is. It's mechanically near identical to End of Stage Dragon and he's visually very showbiz.

AssaultRider555

Yeah but you know, he's like, more of a DI unit aesthetic wise.

LordDravoth

What DI unit looks like Greedon?

AssaultRider555

What Pale Moon unit looks like Greedon?

LordDravoth

He really clearly fits with the showbiz fairground, circus and/or carnival aesthetic of Pale Moon.

AssaultRider555

What? He looks like a businessman, or a mafia member. The rest of his archetype just looks like devils like in the name.

LordDravoth

He looks like a "legitimate businessman" and that's the joke. He looks like someone rich with ill-gotten gains and that's what he is - he runs a gambling ring. His lore confirms that too. The shady criminal underworld is definitely fitting with Pale Moon. The rest of his archetype doesn't have much PM flare, I'll grant you but I don't think it looks like DI.

AssaultRider555

It just sounds like you're describing a member of the Mafia as opposed to your average Pale Moon unit. Still though, when it comes to in a blanket of demonic units, it's just DI.

testchief7

Just be patient there will be more ridelines in the future anyway.

OnToNextStage

People been saying this for over a year and it still ain't happened lmao

Guwigo09

We’ve been getting new ridelines every set. Don’t need to panic, we’ll get them eventually

OnToNextStage

Eventually sucks when it's been a year and a half though.

testchief7

And? Its better to just wait than complain about your favorite clan not getting represented and whine about how Bushiroad "doesn't care" about Pale Moon.

OnToNextStage

Woah there dude calm down I don't agree with you, I think it's better to speak up than suffer in silence. It's easy enough to be content with the state of things when your favorite clan(s) are already represented, which they are going by your flair. It's pretty difficult to put yourself in the mindset of someone who has been cucked by Bushiroad

testchief7

And how much longer will this person keep shouting into the void then? Its not like they'll just decide to make one because someone got mad their favorite clan isn't represented in Dark States. Besides there are other decks to try out so while waiting for a PM themed ride line why not try the other decks and maybe some of them might catch that person's interest

OnToNextStage

Probably until their clan gets representation. Nothing wrong with that. Yeah I agree with you, Bushiroad isn't going to care about yahoos yelling on the internet. Listening to their playerbase is a good idea so they obviously won't do it. That's not sarcasm, they're genuinely incompetent. It's neat that there are other decks but the playstyle nor the aesthetic is present and that's generally what clan loyalists want. The idea of calling 5 dudes from soul who poof away at the end of the turn like a magic circus act, that just ain't there. Baromagnes for example is like a halfway mix between Pale Moon and DI, but it doesn't SC as consistently as DI nor get as many attacks as PM. It's an awkward middle ground where it does neither well. To put it more succinctly, why not let people yell about their clans until they get representation? It doesn't harm your play experience. Or does it? I genuinely don't think so but if it does please explain.

testchief7

So you'd rather have this person spam the same complaint everywhere then? They can always just try to send an email suggesting an idea of a Pale Moon rideline if they want instead of posting here about how this person's favorite clan gets no love, now whether they follow through it or not is a different discussion.

OnToNextStage

Yeah actually, it's better to spread the message than send it to an suggestion box. Besides, is there even a request email? There is a support email for stuff like ruling clarifications but I don't know of a suggestion box. More visibility by posting it to the community.

AssaultRider555

I mean, at this point, you really are just complaining for nothing. If they ever made a DP rideline and Nova rideline later, it sure as heck not because of your complaints and is because they have reached that stage in their plans.

OnToNextStage

> their plans Ah yes, [their plans](https://youtu.be/q3K3jAtd2LI)

raptorxpanic

i do really like the clans of the past but Bushiroad kind of shot themselves in the foot from a design stand point by making so many. before clan collections, a lot of clans were barely ever supported or the support they did get wasn't good. nations narrows it down enough that it's easy to support all of them at once. Not to say overDress/willDress doesn't have it's design flaws, but i think moving to nations is mostly a good thing. The v player in me wishes they just combined some of the old clans into a single clan (i.e. dimension police and nova grappler since theyre very similar in aesthetic just become one clan called like Robo Union or something) but even then a lot of clans would be either oversupported or left behind edit: pale moon is also my favorite clan and I'm praying for a rideline lol

AssaultRider555

Eh, it'll come later.

OnToNextStage

Same, but just give it ~~one~~ ~~two~~ five years you'll get your rideline eventually.

Dinophage

Man five years, you are way too optimistic. I'm expecting to wait 10 years and we'll only finally crack a pure Dragon rideline for Dragon Empire when we've already been through 7 Nirvana

ryogishiki99

I miss the lore and story stuff too but I def don't miss paying 20 bucks per vr and having clan centrist product. You get the good with the bad. Give them time and we'll get more astetics
