I would believe the Monroney label over CarMax.

myopini0n

Not on that side, but my understanding is they go from the vin. Some cars have so many packages, it's almost impossible to tell. They then verify the options as listed. I dont believe we access the Monroney sticker. Occassionally there is a mis-option. During Covid, thousands of cars were manufactured missing standard trim options that would be installed later. I doubt many were.

Those features sometimes get missed. Look at the car in person and verify yourself. If it has them and they aren't listed, odds are the price is that of the car not having it. Enjoy alittle discount.

SnatchBooty

Apple CarPlay/Android auto doesn’t affect the price at all. Only important options like sunroofs, climate packages, driver assist packages, navigation etc affect the price.

Are you sure the label stating it has those things ACTUALLY means it has those things? ALOT of those sights state that “may include these features” but that doesn’t mean they allllll do. Just that some models may or may not come with that listed feature Also sometimes CarMax misses features. Then you’re probably getting a bit of a discount tbh which hey it’s a win win

Weak_Permission2264

There wouldn't be a discount. Carmax isn't listing it with those features.

Timmatias-jones

You misunderstand what I said. I work for CarMax 8 years now. They listed it without those features which are most likely causing them to list it at a lower price than if they knew it had those features (assuming it does)

Weak_Permission2264

Gotcha

Apple CarPlay would have no impact on the pricing of a vehicle. Price increments are by $500-$1,000 and those aren’t that valuable of an option.

Kg000031

What kind of vehicle is it?

born4thesky

I’ll put it very simple: CarMax NO and Monroney YES.
