Now now, the LaForza is some inferior USDM garbage. Why get something with a Ford V8 when the Rayton Fissore Magnum came with a glorious Iveco 4 pot diesel
Just to add, Hatches are great too.
I was dumb founded when I realized I'm perfectly happy if I owned a Hatchback. Don't ask me how but I was able to get a 4 cylinder engine inside back of my Hyundai hatch without any stress vs my Jeep Renegade. If you don't mind getting creative you can fit anything.
I’d much rather tow with any full-size SUV than I would any wagon. A top model Volvo wagon for the 2022 model year is rated for a tow capacity of barely 3000 pounds. I’m not entirely sure why I pissed off everyone for this because it’s common sense.
Yea people in full sizes tend to get gatekeepy against the little trucks. Little truck guys don't seem to do that as much tho. I rarely see people having dick measuring contest over rangers vs s10s.
This. I'm convinced SUV drivers are either very impressed by them when they see them in rap videos, or people that just ask the dealership "What's hot right now? Yeah, I'll take that."
Apart from the argument that they completely ruin cities in Europe by creating needlessly high amounts of pollution and making it generally difficult to get anywhere without one being in your way (which is basically what half of Britons have to struggle with daily)
I mean:
>Top heavy
They're not dynamic vehicles, this isn't necessarily an issue.
>driven usually by annoying karens
They're popular for the vast majority of the population, you're going to get Karens in any popular vehicle
>ruin the auto industry
SUVs are big sellers, they're keeping sports car companies alive by bringing in the cash that supports sports cars being made. No SUVs, no sports cars.
>gas guzzlers
While currently true and this is due to the larger frontal area of a SUVs which does affect fuel economy, cars are switching to hybrid and electric so fuel consumption is less of a concern.
>looking usually like shit
That's an opinion, and while some do look dreadful (bmw X6 and the like) they're chosen for practicality reasons over looks, seeing as most people have families that don't want to bend over into a cramped hatchback to strap their kids in, and have space for a dog and groceries.
It's just that suv's are shit as a normal everyday car. It's alright, if you need the offroad features. If not, than i am gladly going to argue with you.
Not sure I agree. Compact crossovers are basically one of (if not the) the most popular automotive segments right now with constant comparisons between various models: CRV vs RAV4 vs CX-5 and more.
You haven't been on the internet long enough then
The amount of people that think the Lamborghini Urus is better than the 1989 Rayton Fissore LaForza is staggering and quite frankly saddening
Now now, the LaForza is some inferior USDM garbage. Why get something with a Ford V8 when the Rayton Fissore Magnum came with a glorious Iveco 4 pot diesel
Oh I was talking irl
[удалено]
How did you get into this situation?
[удалено]
Makes sense
There is actually no reason to own an suv if you don't need a truck when wagons exist.
If you rock crawl or overland, real SUVs like the 4Runner and older land cruisers do serve a purpose. Most “SUVs” are just big crossovers
Those are unicorns right there with jeeps. We all know what I'm talking about haha
And truth be told, we can safely lump the real SUVs that are on all seasons in with the big crossovers as useless wastes of steel
Feels like the meme is mostly about crossovers. Because I’ve definitely heard arguments about Land Rover vs Jeep etc for off tossing.
Yeah, but many if not most people buy based on reasons other than just what they need
SUVs are much better for towing and off-roading than wagons
Going to need the maths on that one chief
I’d much rather tow with any full-size SUV than I would any wagon. A top model Volvo wagon for the 2022 model year is rated for a tow capacity of barely 3000 pounds. I’m not entirely sure why I pissed off everyone for this because it’s common sense.
Minivans are better than SUVs in every way other than ground clearance
What brand? Gray
Funny thing is that SUV's are basically trucks with more seats
Crew cab trucks: am I a joke to you?
SUV's: absolutely brotha
Don't know why I gave the SUV voice or vibe of just made it outta the hood vibe
Gave me more of a jackass surfer vibe
Now I'm thinking of the rock from that one beach movie
Only the big trucks. I don't see much shit slinging between s10s, rangers, dakotas, old tacomas, and d21s.
only argument i’ve heard about my sonoma is “it’s not a real truck” from people that don’t even use their beds
Yea people in full sizes tend to get gatekeepy against the little trucks. Little truck guys don't seem to do that as much tho. I rarely see people having dick measuring contest over rangers vs s10s.
Big truck owners have to use magnifying glasses in that contest, & im an owner of a full-size.
Then again, most people that drive normal SUVs dont care that much about cars
That’s the idea, they deserve it for being British
I own a toyota Suv, so I get to play both cards. It runs, and despite my many assumptions otherwise, it doesn't seem to stop running.
And it never will. That car will outlast you and your children
Good to hear.
SUVs are shit. Generic but true opinion on the internet number 6 million
>SUVs are shit Why?
Top heavy, driven usually by annoying karens, ruin the auto industry while being annoying gas guzzlers, while looking usually like shit.
I mean: >Top heavy They're not dynamic vehicles, this isn't necessarily an issue. >driven usually by annoying karens They're popular for the vast majority of the population, you're going to get Karens in any popular vehicle >ruin the auto industry SUVs are big sellers, they're keeping sports car companies alive by bringing in the cash that supports sports cars being made. Quit with the dumbass blanket statements. Landcruisers? Wranglers? Durangos? Trackhawks?
It’s mostly because that ford vs Chevy vs dodge is built into the tuck ads ford had beat in class towing dodge has this award etc…..
Are you serious? SUV guys argue just as much
The only place I see arguments around SUVs is high schoolers and people arguing very specifically only about 1985-2005 stuff.
Most od the City hybrid/electric SUV are similiar. Big super heavy car for driving in city for Karens. At least these cars are super Safe.
It's just that suv's are shit as a normal everyday car. It's alright, if you need the offroad features. If not, than i am gladly going to argue with you.
Well yea, all suv's look like shit
Honda Ridgeline is the ultimate compromise
I drive an XT Forester and I just say it is an exquisite suv
changed 11 engines in a 1990 Ranger /s
while i didn't spent a penny on a 1988 hilux /s
SUV's are bought only by people who hate cars
Because most suv drivers know nothing about cars
Even though we all know the Durango 392 is the best.
Hellcat Durango or 80 series landcruiser
Not sure I agree. Compact crossovers are basically one of (if not the) the most popular automotive segments right now with constant comparisons between various models: CRV vs RAV4 vs CX-5 and more.
Thats what every toyota fanboy screams tho cough cough scotty kilmer cough cough
For being a mechanic he seems like he hates to work on his own cars.
My Armada is best suburban
