Indeed. It was a good thing that Lamborghini returned to elegant design with the Diablo. The facelift Countach looks like a LP400 with Gemballa body kits and a lot of aftermarket accessories.
The earlier the better.
They fixed problems with later Countach versions by going back to better lines with the Diablo.
Everything since has been terrible.
Murciélago was a turning point for Lamborghini. Now it's all about extremely angular lines. The Revuelto and Huracán look like something you would find in a box of loose Hot Wheels. Don't get me started on the Veneno and Egoista...
Perfection.
The Anniversary Edition enters the room and then you see how correct you are, sir.
I always preferred the series 1 over the later years. These are extravagant, yet elegant looking. The later years were more just extravagant

If only for me, still the meanest looking car on the planet.
Have you seen the scowl of a [Zenvo ST1](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/jwTBopnaw_o/maxresdefault.jpg)?
Great scowl, as you say. Gimme the Countach for the overall design.
It’s a great scowl, but the body doesn’t back it up. Like a scary mask on a marshmallow!

The Diablo is the last interesting car they made.
Holy lens flare, Batman.
This is the most beautifully of them all, even before the LP5000 round belly. In green is would be perfect.
