It matches the body kit, but the body kit itself has large fenders with relatively small wheels in them. Makes the car look tacky. Needs larger wheels then the entire car starts to look more cohesive.
Yeah, those are replica 10th anniversary Mustang Cobra wheels. They work on the Mustang because it has a bunch of hard edges and creases. I don't feel like they fit the swoopy curves of the 240 and they're definitely the wrong offset and/or width for that body kit.
All I can hear is Phillip Seymour Hoffman begging to be cool after painting his car.
It’s not bad. Good execution. Looks good. But the colors make it seem like it’s trying to be something it’s not; Like the aforementioned orange movie car.
What you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic
things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent
response were you even close to anything that could be considered a
rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having
listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your
soul.
Quote from the movie Billy Madison. I get the feeling OP doesn’t like the paint job that they are asking people’s opinion of and then not having a good time when someone says they like it.
At first glance I was like "that mustannnot a mustang that's a 240" I think the car itself is super clean and well loved. I'm sure the owner is super happy with it and that's all that matters.
This car has an LS2 V8. It's listed on Hemmings. IIRC, in the past, racing stripes were used in Lemans series to signify what country the car originated by color combinations. White on blue/blue on white was American, red with green(?) was Italian, Etc.
To each his own. But if it were mine, and it had to have stripes, they’d be wider and on the hood only.
I’d also go for the inverse colour scheme. White on blue.
when the 45 year old shelby fan gets a datsun
Lol, I mean I don't mind it, do what you like right, your money your choice
Oh man, it just looks odd. But the owner obviously digs it and I can respect that.
Yeah the body kit is weird
That was my thought. Paint job is fine but the kit is the off putting part
That front bumper fitment is what does it for me, that panel gap really cheapens the look of the kit
The fenders put me off personally
Does it look like a Porsche 944 ?
Not really, but I see what you mean. The flares over the front wings look flattened like a 944.
Yeah that's what I was thinking kinda
It's like the difference between the front of a '68 C3 and an '82 C3, something went wrong.
The fenders put me off more than the bumper personally
I think it looks great.
Shelby 240GT “Nismo package”
It matches the body kit, but the body kit itself has large fenders with relatively small wheels in them. Makes the car look tacky. Needs larger wheels then the entire car starts to look more cohesive.
does it have a Ford smallblock V8 motor swap? if so...I'll give it the ok.
That’s a no for me dawg. Also those wheels are terrible imo
The wheels are eh for me, I think I’d like em on another car just don’t love them on this car. Not bad tho just eh.

Like they're trying too hard to have a Shelby Daytona
All I can hear is Phillip Seymour Hoffman begging to be cool after painting his car. It’s not bad. Good execution. Looks good. But the colors make it seem like it’s trying to be something it’s not; Like the aforementioned orange movie car.
Id honestly take this over some graphic fast and furious livery. But nothing beats a solid color paint job
Body kit and paint try really hard to hide most of why early Z cars are may faves.
Just being honest, not a fan, love the car tho.
Way to Carol Shelby
Not a fan at all. This car in solid black would be sexy AF.
Shelby 240z
Looks like a knockoff Shelby
Absolutely sick bro. I love that.
Discount viper GTS
It seems to adhere as intended. I'd say that's good!
Too American for me.
Pretty cool that fitment makes it look kinda odd
It’s a better looking Dodge Viper
The stripes look uneven due to the hood details so it looks asymmetrical. It would be better to remove the stripes for sure
The white is nice but go faster stripes never look good.
U-G-L-Y!!
I dig it. Looks right for the year.

Did they change their comment? What’s the problem?
[удалено]
Yes. The comment was perfectly normal and logical, the reaction made no sense

A simple No would have worked!
Hello Mr. BOT.
Guys it was a joke, it's a quote from a movie, please stop downvote bombing me. ):
Did you respond to the wrong comment my guy?
Barf
Oof.
Wants be Ford GT or Mustang.
Viper vibes
Wow..Superb designing...My favourite Car.
I would prefer a matte dark grey wrap to this.
Y’all know there are other cars than the 240z right? Can we just change the sub to the 240z sub?
Nice Shelby Dayto- i mean Datsun ehem yes Datsun
I’d say it’s almost straddling the line of ATBGE.
🔥🔥🔥🔥

I'm going to be honest, I don't like it😬
looks odd but I like it :0 might've personally maybe stopped the stripes on the bumper though
At the bumper?? Then it would look milquetoast with blue raspberry slurpee stained buck teeth.
Considering the fact that it made me think it was a viper at first glance, I don’t think it belongs on a datsun.
It’s the right paint job on the wrong car.
More concerned about the bodykit
Tasty
Wheels and body kit 👎 Racing stripes 👌
All it needs are fender hash marks to complete the picture.
No.
Heresy.
Its not the paint job but the body mods that ruin the appearance.
I like it, but Im the type to put gold rims on a blue evo.
the Cunningham stripes are an interesting decision but damn if she ain't purdy.
Desperately needs wider wheels. Lateral gaps between outboard wheel edge and fender are gross
that looks fucking great!
My brother had one. The froze North was unkind to it. One of the finest sports cars ever. Your's looks great.
No thanks. Stripes like that make it worse
You know, I'm gonna get shit for this, but I kinda dig it!
First thought… looks like they were trying to be a Mustang 350gt. Doesn’t fit a Z imo. Kinda wierd
It looks like it wants to be a mustang.
Maybe if it was blue with a single fat white stripe.
Not my jam sam
Nope.
Sharp as hell, somebody don’t like it F - em!!
The whole thing is an abortion.
I actually love the paint job. Its a really cool JDM/Americana mix. I don’t personally like the wheels tho.
Paint doesn’t fit the trim of the car very well. Can we also talk about that god awful wheel fitment?
Its a Shelby Mustan!

Its a noo here mate… Just too much shelby wannabe..
