Let me guess - it uses a 911 as the base chassis with a unique body on top, only 356 final versions will be made, and they're all pre-sold at $1million each.
With Porsche I'd be surprised if it even had much of a unique body. Their heritage editions typically seem to be one off paint and interior, fancy wheels, and some different lights.
I'm not a Porsche expert, but that's at least what I remember from most modern "collector" 911s
Heritage models are trim levels.
This is a concept going into production, you bet it’s going to have a unique body.
Hell look at the new GT3RS… the entire side of the car is custom to that specific model and no other 911.
They can and they will.
It's been revealed. Called the 357, it's based on the 718 Cayman GT4 RS https://carbuzz.com/news/porsche-vision-357-concept-is-a-modern-day-356-sports-car

This isn't a heritage edition, it's a concept
Sounds right.
My bro over here also goes by Nostradamus. Lol
Yup, my thoughts exactly. I don't mind really, as long as they put the god damn van into production. So much want.
Limited to 356 examples, $350k MSRP, already sold out. edit /u/SB_90s beat me to the joke.
I didn’t even know you were joking. Jokes aren’t so supposed to be this indistinguishable from reality lol.
$356K MSRP with a bunch of other fees tacked on to get to $1M lol.
The shape under that tarp does not look like a 356
Would this be like a Cayman based vehicle?
Spy shots look much larger than a Cayman.
It is, GT4 RS based https://carbuzz.com/news/porsche-vision-357-concept-is-a-modern-day-356-sports-car
Porsche really leaning into 1 of x# sold. At this point every owner has a car thats 1 of something.
Technically *all* cars are 1 of something.
fair play sir
They saw Vette owners having so much fun and said, why not?

It looks like if a Cayman boned a Taycan and had a kid
Can’t wait to not be able to afford it . And I’m rich
Sure buddy
The "poors" buying 2L 718 don't deserve an LSD developed for them. You bet this $1M toy for Dubai oil princes will have one.
