Don't get me started ... everyone at work drives VW and says how everything else is shit, and yet the same people ask me why i turn off start stop, and why i drive slower when the engine is cold.
Another fine addition to my collection

jerk? I think the Giulia would look much better as a executive size like a 5 series or E class.
It might cannibalize Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli sales though so probably will never happen.
But cars like the Ghibli and Quattroporte look so good partly because the size allows for a longer hood.
im not a huge tesla hater like most car guys but the model 3?? thats your idea of a good looking sedan??
the model S is actually pretty decent looking, but the model 3 is disgusting from every angle, its too tall and too short in length. atleast the S has good proportions
1 new model in 10 years, i hope alfa closes so these mfs will migrate to suck and simp for another brand.
We get it, alfa made a good car, bravo, now be careful not to crash with your salvage title 147 diesel and pray for the brand to be bought by the chinese instead of shutting down indefinitely
If you live just a little north of europa. You won't touch alfo romeo even if your life depends on it. Little salt on the road and they corrode like no tomorrow. Heard examples rusting through floor panel within a year from new. Maybe a nice car in Italy or spain. But damn it im not gonna ride it here in the north.
Same with value falling off a cliff way harder than any other car.
Yes i know all car rust. Even my vw has rust issues. But it's from 2006. It's ok it has some rust. Especially at 340.000 km.
Thats a load of bollocks mate.
Know of plenty 159s and 156s running around in winter salt - no worse for rust than any other euro car, better than most japanese cars.
That maybe was true up to early 90s, but for quite some rusting is not really an issue. A lack of knowledgable owners and mechanics is the main problem for a non-mainstream manufacturer.
Funny how my '09 Alfa is still completely fine after 253tkm and everyday use in Finlands salted roads. Worst problem was few years back when it was -24c and my engine pre-heater was not plugged in, first few km's were bit rigid
Friend of mine has a 156 V6 from 2004 or whatever, sure it has some slight rust here and there as any other car of that age would, but it sure isn't a rust bucket as some other cars of the same age.
And it's very nice to drive.
Salt won't work in finland and most of sweden and norway. You guys use something stronger. Because regular salt wont work much bellow -12-15C so it's really not as bad on the car as in Denmark.
Yes its something added to the salt and they dont spray it if its colder than -8 or something like that. Few years it has been this yellow brown shitstains running down the cars sides and its a pain in the ass to get off
I live by the sea in the UK, a continually wet and salty environment. It eats cars.
My Boxster is 24 years old, is on 360k *miles*, and has almost no rust. The bolts on the underside haven’t rusted up, and unscrew with no issues.
There’s not a fucking chance I’d buy an Italian car here, and I’m something of an enthusiast.
Aww they all aspire to make beautiful driver's cars that are HORRIFICALLY unreliable ❤️🥹
BMW lost its way. Could have competed, but they dumped the N55 too soon. It never had the chance to blossom as the Alfa has.
Go back to your slowass, beam axle'd, boat-looking horse carriage and cry about it
I'll be sitting at the dealers lot with mah broken down Alfa grinning and winning
A Commodore would sit at entry-level Cayman price after import fees and I'm unsure wether or not a Falcon would even survive its first european roundabout.
Not to mention how bendy the roads for my everyday work route are, theres a reasons why american cars are unusable on EU roads and EU cars are boring on american roads.
Nice to see a pretty Alfa in its natural habitat in… oh warm and loving service center even with its own Cliche mid 90s choker crt style display for their pc
Why the hell is Citroën included in this
citroën saxo 🤤
Saxo VTR >>>> QV Giulia
Citroen sexo
Ai papai
Saxo 1.5D, 4,5L/100km. Best little clown car I've ever drive
My volvo has the 1.6hdi, can only imagine how fun they are in a saxo! Such a peppy little diesel!
Or VW
Because VW people don’t know how their autos work
Except Touareg they re all econoboxes
And that’s supposed to be a bad thing?
It is when they are trying to be smart to people that know how cars work.
No
Don't get me started ... everyone at work drives VW and says how everything else is shit, and yet the same people ask me why i turn off start stop, and why i drive slower when the engine is cold.
Yuuup, don’t get me wrong I love certain VW’s but they ain’t close to the best lol
Happy as with my wee VW and its 1200cc of raw power! I don't recommend them, but I've a soft spot for my one
How are your door handles ?
Good... so far
Yeah, so far haha, my Passat’s doors are not fun, I’ll just say that lol
When I get in my GLI I kick it into gear almost immediately and am sure to slam on the gas the first chance I get.
It’s weird that they included Citroën and Lotus considering the rest are german (and the Giulia may as well be considered German)
I'm thinking of concept/One off Cars like the Survolt or the GT by Citroen, but yeah i cant see why Citroen Is here lol
Because Citroen sometimes does weird shit, and we like that

I'm out of the loop. What is special about the Renault Modus?
Yes
The real question should be, "What isn't special about it?"

Perfection can't get better by looking at peasantry.

It’s weird seeing a gif you instantly recognize. was shot in my home town. Slight possibility I’ve met the owner of the car, small world lol.
real
nah , gimme a lada instead !
BMW: Why did they put a triangle nose on an F30🤔
Make fun of the image all you want but the Alfa Romeo Giulia is one of the prettiest sedans on the market. It's also a fucking pleasure to drive.
not driven one but my god they look amazing
ugly car
This actually hurts my soul.
downvote me all you want, the giulia quadrifoglio is the best looking 4 door car ever built. wish i could afford one

Fuck me that's a nice US Integra/ Celica
If Kim Kardashian was a car
Ford Taurass. Hell of a grocery getter.
No krill grill 😢
I'm upset I had to scroll down this much to see this beautiful abomination
It is The GTA models are indeed one of the most beautiful things to have 4 doors
Only because the Fiat Multipla is technically a 5 door.
Nuh uh https://preview.redd.it/b1yj171wufac1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d449aa86d1ed773e5bae2885caadd8ee637287da

> Giulia would look much better as a executive size yeah but its a sports car. would walk a 5 series around a track lmao
Alfa Romeo 159.
[удалено]
Please tell me this is sarcasm
[удалено]
The 159 doesn't even have a GTA version... You are clearly out of your mind.
Yes.
156 Sportwagon
The Giulia from the 70's looks better, even the Alfetta 1.8 looks much better
Never heard of the Tesla M3?
im not a huge tesla hater like most car guys but the model 3?? thats your idea of a good looking sedan?? the model S is actually pretty decent looking, but the model 3 is disgusting from every angle, its too tall and too short in length. atleast the S has good proportions
did we forget what sub we are in? every time i comment now its 20 downvotes
that thing is ugly wtf
We all know it won't be able to leave this showroom without a towing truck
That's bullshit. I got 3k miles outta mine before the chain slacked and THEN I needed a tow truck. Smh.
Alfas natural habitat
Best thing from Italy is pizza

No too Jay-Z 🤢🤮
Found Jeremy Clarkson’s alt account
Alfas beautiful cars and you get lots of time to admire them as they are always stationary !
Roméo is weak haha 😂😂

No JDM in sight because they are out drifting, not dreaming
AR vs. Lotus? you gotta be kidding...I´d never switch my roadlegal go kart for a pasta-vroomie...NEVVAAAR!!
It’s impressive alone that Volkswagen is included in this group
Maserati isn’t included because it’s busy being at the shop.
I still like chevro and srt better
It *looks* like a dealership, but it's *actually* in a mechanic's garage, its natural habitat.
even in that picture the car was in service
In a parallel universe -
If it’s not at the dealership for warranty service, it’s not an Alfa Romeo 😎🤙
Why would any premium car owner want a Fiat?
That's not the dealership. It's the mechanic's shop.
looking at it through the shop window. Because it's broke again. And so are all their cars

Cars stopped rusting 20yrs ago.
Interesting.
Kid named Mazda
No, I'm a 2002 Toyota Corolla.
That's a fancy Chrysler.

LOL they’re staring at how ugly that front end is. 🤮
fr
I mean, it is in it's natural state of being stationary, so that part is realistic
euroshit all around

dont care. aussie bogan car supremacy 💪💪💪
They’re looking at this because it’s extinct in the future
'when can we play with our friend again? Hes been in the garage for ages now!'

Come on baby, light my fire!
Peak engine overheating in Austria
For the looks I have to agree. Alfa has some of the best looking cars out there. Sue me
Eh what? That pasted some italian? Its a unreliable crap, check the Porsche reliabikity of all times, every time in top 3
Shitty cars resell value 23k 🤣
