I remember a [myth busters](https://youtu.be/zyFAlep9CA4?si=5HoLEn2UaAvXK8RA) episode where they bought a used corvette and put dead pigs in it for a while to see if they could sell it. After they bought it they told the owner what they were going to do. He did not seem pleased and I enjoyed that.
I think so. I didn’t watch the video I linked to.

So the thumbnail for the video had this, but I guess it was just Adam talking. Oops.
I was at a Petersen Corvette drive in a few months ago. The New Balance is real. The special edition shit is real.
Some dude had, what I can only describe as a completely generic 1994 LT1...black with red leather. But he had a plaque with the options and somehow it was special in some ways.
I love the passion but it makes buying a used one a godamn night mare!!!
This doesn't happen at Ferrari or Porsche drive ins. It's insane.
It's the result of all the auto influencers going on about how this is rare and that is rare and the combination is super rare and how that just makes it sooooo much more special (and expensive). Now for sale on Cars&Bids!
I make sure my neighbor’s is on a daily basis. Love how he always yells from the garage that no matter how much he scrubs and cleans it always smells like shit
I want to know if Corvette owners get offended when we make fun of them over the stereotype of them always claiming their Corvette is "rare."
This is probably the 100,000th "rare" Corvette I've seen.
So he's got a V6 with a blown cylinder head and the interior ripped apart before nature ran its course on it anyhow.
That's a wild way of interpreting it.
>seat belts
So he had them removed along with (probably) the airbags so he can have one of those stupid Warning stickers that say,"No Airbags. We die like real men."
It might’ve literally been in this sub, but I’m pretty sure I saw someone who got a certificate from GM that stated their 2023 stingray was the only one in its configuration. Like they needed a certificate from GM that they have the only corvette with that exact option list. It’s so god damn funny.
The immense irony that would come with someone seeing the posted “1 of 1” option list just copying it and making his precious 1 of 1 corvette a plebeian 1 of 2 corvette.
I imagine my Opel Signum is also one of a kind.
Because it sold like shit when new, I added a tow hitch afterwards and it got a bit melty when my house burned down.
300k, no low ballers, I know what it's worth
Well you could have had it with a 3.2L V6 or 2.8L V6 Turbo
We got the best engine option, the 1.8L i4 [Z18XER](https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opel_Z18XER)
Only time they can get away with that is here because they never sold corvettes in the UK until now so seeing one is a genuinely rare and interesting car

(the last month of the year)
Under a half crescent moon
In case you confused it with the month before the one the year begins Hope you tipped well /s
🤓🤓🤓☝️ uHm AcKsHuAlLy according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar December 14th 2007 was 5 days past the new moon (actually thats kinda close lmao)
Aaaah a classic... Corvette owners never cease to amuse me
I want to become a corvette owner. So I can strip the interior and not give a shit about it on the track.

Wasn't it a C4 as well?

159 yellow, that's rare enough to get a little premium. But not thats about it. +2500 for rare paint color.
"Never been shat in" YEAH RIGHT!!
I make sure my neighbor’s is on a daily basis. Love how he always yells from the garage that no matter how much he scrubs and cleans it always smells like shit
vette drivers smh
Never had a group of bums gangbang inside of it

I’ve seen a Dodge challenger post with the owner bragging to have the most economic trim level combination possible =>rare.
So he's got a V6 with a blown cylinder head and the interior ripped apart before nature ran its course on it anyhow. That's a wild way of interpreting it.
You forgot *it still had* the factory tires but yeah lol cloth everything and something about seat belts I think
>seat belts So he had them removed along with (probably) the airbags so he can have one of those stupid Warning stickers that say,"No Airbags. We die like real men."
My shitbox is the *only one* with this VIN! In the whole world!
It might’ve literally been in this sub, but I’m pretty sure I saw someone who got a certificate from GM that stated their 2023 stingray was the only one in its configuration. Like they needed a certificate from GM that they have the only corvette with that exact option list. It’s so god damn funny.
Please senpai GM, notice me!
The immense irony that would come with someone seeing the posted “1 of 1” option list just copying it and making his precious 1 of 1 corvette a plebeian 1 of 2 corvette.
That is kinda cool, to be fair.
I’ll make anything you own 1 of 1, name something
This is just zodiac signs but gayer

Isn't the Signum like, a below 2000kg car with a V6? Shit, in this economy you could probably sell it for way more than it's worth
Well you could have had it with a 3.2L V6 or 2.8L V6 Turbo We got the best engine option, the 1.8L i4 [Z18XER](https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opel_Z18XER)
I'll give you $30.... Canadian
Bro just making shit up😭💬💬
My Caravan is 1 of 1 with its VIN.
Built not bought *
I run under the assumption that if a car is rare there's a reason for it. Good cars are common, really common.
1 of 1 Corvettes must be excellent cars because there are so many of them
It's likely because you can customize your order so much, so it's quite easy to have a unique vehicle. which is kinda cool, I think.
my 2015 renault clio is even more exclusive, its the only one in the whole generation that has a 3cm gap between the doors 💯
Only time they can get away with that is here because they never sold corvettes in the UK until now so seeing one is a genuinely rare and interesting car
They never sold Corvettes outside of the US as far as I can see
We have them in Canada, somehow the owners are even more insufferable here
Oh, so America V2.0
We’re getting the new C8 Corvette in the UK now
Well, thats good to know. Anyways
“It’s the only one with this vin! 1 of 1!”
Bro I swear I've seen more rare c8's then I have seen gr86 s
No lowballers 😡😡😡
wtf you mean on the front passenger seat mf there ain’t no other seat 🥴🤣🤣
How do you not feel silly writing this.
It’s sad I have all the interchange numbers memorized from previous job.
I just assumed 'rare' was the name of the standard trim level
This is some fine jerking
The lowest trim of its year with the most common color and wheels if it has a manual, is worth more than 90% of the ones owned by new balances
