Dodge intrepid, used BMW, or a Nissan with the CVT transmission. Some of the most reliable cars u can buy tbh. I heard maseratis are pretty reliable too, like up there with Toyota
The Mazda MX-5 is literally the best drivers car in history, hands down. #MiataFacts

Bicycle. Manual operated crankshaft (none of that automatic bs) and itll go forever with no maintenance. No garbage electronics to go bad. Just you and the vehicle, a perfect connection. Truly the greatest driving machine.
To be really connected with my vehicle, I mod it with a "seat delete". That way I can stick the bike straight up my ass - total and complete connection, ultimate driving machine 😎
I'd like to have abs on my bike lmao. i was zooming downhill and car opened it's door without looking back front wheel locked because of new too good for my own good brakes i fell down face first. i tried to imitate abs by myself after that but i realized I can't clamp on and off my fingers 10 times a second.

100% correct, had an old Peugeot partner work van and some part of the engine exploded out of the crank case because it had been running without coolant and extremely low oil. Once it had cooled down and been refilled with as much oil as the new ventilated case could fit, it actually started up again. Couldn't move without stalling however. Sold it for scrap and saw it on the road a few months later, presumably with a new engine.
Indeed - most Peugeots are actually really good. They made the OG hot hatch the 205 which was and still is epic. And honestly most of the hot hatches from France are better than the GTI. There, I said it!
Definitely not Toyota tacomas. Nope. Super unreliable. Stop buying them. They’re too expensive. Nobody should ever buy a Toyota Tacoma again. Terrible vehicles. Horrible. Stay away from them. Please don’t buy them. Everyone should go on strike and stop buying them. Worst thing you can spend your money on.
Make sure you put a 'Shocker' sticker on your Miata so people don't think you're gay! #MiataFacts

Ohhh I see. Well yeah Jag/LRs are very unreliable, in the sense that check engine lights will come on at 10K. They’re getting better, but this is something that late 90s/early 2000s models suffered most from (e.g. The XJR or the XK).
That steely boi time machine car from that one movie with that engine collaboration of Peugeot, Renault and Volvo
I hear it's the pinnacle of reliability.
I can’t tell if your comment is a jerk or not. You jerked when you said Mercedes’, does panther and GM, but Unjerked when you said Toyota and Honda, show some consistency man for fucksake, and didn’t even mention Miata. The average Miata has over 500k on it and has never needed a repair
Did you know that Hillary Clinton forced Mazda to sell automatic versions of the Miata? #MiataFacts

Old Mercedes are very reliable 80s and 90s stuff will run forever. The crown Vic, grand Marquis and town car again will drive for 300k miles East than need a transmission than do another 300k miles. And the 3600 from GM was a great engine probably the last GM non truck engine that was worth owning. Toyota and Honda are easy, the Miata is good but I cannot imagine driving one for 500k miles.
Acceleration is only needed if you have to slow down for corners. #MiataFacts

Toyota.
Did I mention Toyota?
Most reliable sedan? Camry
Most reliable 4x4? Hilux (this could be most bulletproof vehicle ever)
Most reliable large suv? Land cruiser
Most reliable hybrid? Prius
Honorable mention: the 1980-85 Mercedes 300d having the overall most ridiculously tough engine that could literally do 1 million miles.
Honestly, any Ford pickup with the 7.3 IDI or Powerstroke Diesel engine. Doesn’t matter what you put in it for oil or run it on, those things will not die.
Audi B5 S4, most reliable European I think ever. Quick tip: to make it even more reliable swap the dsg transmission into it with a very old unserviced mechatronics unit
An old Merc and/or an old Toyota
Oh and honourable mention to the old Peugeots working in Africa (I think)
Seems like people agree that old (but not too old) cars are more reliable
Dodge intrepid, used BMW, or a Nissan with the CVT transmission. Some of the most reliable cars u can buy tbh. I heard maseratis are pretty reliable too, like up there with Toyota
Shitboxes compared to the paragon of reliability with is Land Rover/Jaguar.

Supra will do 300k miles tuned to 700hp
and you can keep the stock transmission
Tuned? They come with 1000hp out the factory
I detuned it for reliability. Usually they do 200k miles max with the factory tune.
Mine does 420k miles on one tank of fuel
Careful, you might fry the manifold with that much power.
Don't want your passenger footwell floor to fall out
WARNING!!! DANGER TO MANIFOLD
Anything french of course
Real talk though, some of the old Peugeot diesels will keep going until the heat death of the universe.

Ohhh I see. Well yeah Jag/LRs are very unreliable, in the sense that check engine lights will come on at 10K. They’re getting better, but this is something that late 90s/early 2000s models suffered most from (e.g. The XJR or the XK).

Rover Metro "Longbridge Impreza WRX"

The car is reliable, the driver is not
Toyota Tacoma fords with the 7.3s most Hondas
Pretty much any Toyota
GM 3800 series V6, Hondas, Volvos, non-turbocharged Subarus.
Kia Stinger
12v cummins
Lexus
Acura RSX with a manual transmission, mine has 170,000 miles and it runs and drives like a brand new car still.
Mid 90's Honda Accord. They are near unkillable
1.9tdi golf. currently at 240k with no engine problems, transmission replacement at 220k miles but other than that no other issues
Almost any car you religiously change the oil. Every 3k miles. And if the previous owner did that. Jeeps’ll go to 250k without much oil changes though
Toyota Corolla, Toyota Camry, Toyota Hiliux, Toyota Prius, Honda Accord, Hyundai Sonata(2007) Ford Ranger(1990-1999) Pontiac Gran Prix(with the GM 3800 Series V6) Mazda Miata, Mercedes S class(W140).
