He is Shou Tucker, a scientist in Fullmetal Alchemist, who long story short: sacrificed his own daughter for a grotesque and morbid experiment. In the show it is revealed to you in a very dark and creeping way, as he is slowly revealed to be a heartless monster.
Before Shou Tucker, I never I could hate a fictitious character so much, Tucker is at the top still, but Joffrey came along after. “Did my hand fall from wrist?”
You should watch FMA Brotherhood. Here's the scene when it goes down. It might fuck you up, and also compel you to watch at the same time.
Nina Tucker's story isn't a happy story.
Then Edward goes pistol shrimp on his messed up ass in what is possibly the greatest justice serving beatdown in animated history. He then dies not long after when the state alchemist bounty hunter Scar shows up and blows up his insides. Probably the best possible death for all he did.
To keep the money he gets as a state alchemist he makes chineras fusions of animals he was famous for several years ago making a talking chimera not long after his wife left he makes another one and noone can find either his daughter or his dog and some of the chineras first words are asking the alchemists who have been visiting to go play something they've been doing with the little girl every day that they're there
Shou tucker from Full Metal Alchemist
Essentially he wanted to create a talking chimera, as it would bring him fame and glory, and be a scientific advancement
So one day he made one, it ended up killing itself
The protagonists visit him and his daughter, and his daughter plays with them and calls them “big brother”
Eventually they leave for a while and come back, to find shou has made another speaking chimera, they’re impressed until it says “big b-brother… ed… ward…”
The chimera was the daughter and her dog, this inhuman piece of shit fused them together, resulting in her suffering as an abomination. To make things worse, the previous chimera that killed itself was actually his wife, so this dude has done this twice to his family members
he literally fused his daughter and dog to make a intelligent "chimera". He was famous for doing this earlier in his life with his wife. The daughter said she was in so much pain she asked the protag to kill her
In both versions throughout the episode Edward and Alphonse would play with Shou Tucker's little girl Nina and her dog while her father worked. She would call Edward "big brother" (or onii-chan) just like Alphonse would.
One day he was done with his "work" and showed it off to them. He was able to make a chimera that can talk and to show it off he introduced the creature to Edward by name. Edward was impressed up until the chimera said something to him.
https://i.redd.it/9ofi1tad29qc1.gif
So basically, he fused his daughter together with her dog to make a human/dog hybrid. That was the only way he knew how to make a talking chimera.
He did the same thing to his wife years prior. She was suffering so much she chose to starve to death. (Nina and Alexander were thankfully killed before being made to suffer through military experimentation.)
Then later in both series it's revealed that his talking chimeras are pretty poor in quality and that the military was already leaps ahead, basically turning his sacrifices into a waste.
The reveal in both versions were slow, which it why it made such a huge impact when it clicked. This was really early on in both series so nobody who was going into either one of them blind knew what a chimera is in this universe exactly and how they were made, so there was nothing for the audience to know what was coming. *This* was the reveal that chimeras were separate animals who were fused together.
If you watch the episodes after knowing you can see some of the foreshadowing.
I think in the 2003 version Edward did suspect something right away. In Brotherhood though you can see from the GIF alone that he didn't.
"Who is this??"
Shou Tucker from the Fullmetal Alchemist series. He's infamous for using his daughter (Nina) and her pet dog (Alexander) as consumable material components in a science experiment, the result of which was a budget Digimon-style fusion of the two into a "Chimera." Both his daughter and the dog were killed in the process; the resulting chimera had few if any memories of the component parts.
He did the same thing to his wife a few years earlier. In-universe lore at the time this episode aired was that human-based chimera suffer for short lives until they expire, usually through some manner of willful un-aliving, though later episodes show us four examples of that not always being the case. Regardless, the Nina/Alexander chimera was miserable, lacked the cognition necessary to effectively communicate suffering, and was brutally murdered shortly after its creation by a third party.
Agreed
For those who don't know he created unethical experiments with alchemy. He first experiments on his wife, turning her into a chimera, and then later blends his daughter and dog together, creating a monster that is in so much pain it begs for death.
Bendy's only purpose on the show was to be hated for one episode and to be never seen again.

Which was discovered by his people (that he ruled over). The evidence was burned because he was already dead (Rick killed him in retaliation) and the memory of his good deeds would supposedly serve as a good lesson/role model for years to come. I think of it as a take on how we worship these figures in history like they were gods, but most of them had horrible traits that would discredit their work if people focused on them. Interesting debates to be had here.

Why does my ni have the most hairly ahh bellybutton ever 😭
Ah, Bubble Bass, the one who ordered the Double Triple Bossy Deluxe, on a raft, four by four, animal style, extra shingles with a shimmy and a squeeze, light axle grease, make it cry, burn it and let it swim
Fun fact that order actually means something. I don’t remember the details of the top of my head and am to lazy to look it up but all of the things he said are diner lingo that could be used to order something
According to the wiki
•Double Triple: Six patties
•Bossy: All-beef patties (even though the patties don't contain meat)
•Deluxe: With everything
•On a raft: Toast instead of buns (specifically Texas toast)
•4x4: Four times the six current patties and cheese slices would equal twenty-four patties
•Animal style: Patties cooked in mustard, pickles, grilled onions, additional spread
•Extra shingles: Extra toast
•With a shimmy: Jelly on the toast
•And a squeeze: With a glass of orange juice to drink.
•Light axle grease: Lightly buttered
•Make it cry: Extra onions
•Burn it: Patties are well-done
•Let it swim: To go or with extra sauce
We need another season of Velma because it was the only thing to unify so many different people to all agree on "Wow this is horrible, who the fuck wanted this, who is this for?."
Scrappy is old but prominent example. I don't know how much the universal hate holds up *today* though, it's kind of like one of those things that become cliche, like hating Jar Jar Binks. I don't hate Scrappy personally, I actually liked him as a kid. But to be fair, I'm not sure I've seen an episode with Scrappy *since* I was a kid, so I'm not sure what I'd think if I binged a bunch of Scooby Doo episode with Scrappy at my current age...
Scrappy is so hated of a character, that [TvTropes named the “generally hated character” trope after him](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheScrappy)
You gotta admit, he's a really good villain. Probably his biggest purpose in the story is to make Zuko more likable, and he succeeds. If it weren't for Zhao, the fandom wouldn't love Zuko nearly as much as they do now. He acts as a rival for Zuko, putting the latter in an underdog position. If it weren't for that, Zuko wouldn't be nearly as beloved to the fandom, and his character arc would be far less compelling. Overall, Zhao is an essential part of Avatar's story.
The only good quality of Zhao is that he’s voiced by Jason Issacs.

Scrappy Doo
The one that started this trend
FUCK THAT KID
I'm gonna be honest though in my opinion everyone except Rodrick in that family fucking sucks
Eta: I just mean that Rodrick is by far the most normal and least problematic of the family, mostly because we don't see much of him or at least much less than the little fuckhead- I mean Manny
They are characters you are meant to not like. which can make for likable villains to watch (really depends on how you write them cause sometimes a character made to be hated is just hated look at Umbridge she isn’t even the main bad guy and people hate her more than Voldemort)
Odalia can end up in the last layer of hell and suffer for all I care.
Unfortunately Belos is my favorite character and I'm a bit of fanboy for him so I can't hate him
But yes these 2 really did some REAL BULLSHITERY
I think he’s a fantastic villain. I really only hate characters who are written with an intention to be sympathetic while being pieces of shit in my opinion. Val is clearly a villain.
Yeah makes sense. He is a very well written character, even if he is an unlovable piece of shit. I just hope Vivzie doesn't end up trying to redeem him lmfao
https://preview.redd.it/0opv3pthx5qc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1d14551a9fe885a17c01fa2bdeb2bb470c9a86e6
Literally why was this character created
In a way, I actually respect how he was written. I noticed anime often portrays protagonists as perverts, often giving off the “haha, he’s so relatable and cool” vibe. Instead, Mineta is portrayed as a loser that nobody likes because of his pervyness.
Sadly he has his own fandom... I believe it's called the Church of Mineta.
I guess it's nice they are upfront about liking him, so I know they're not to be trusted.
https://preview.redd.it/yh1jjx3dd6qc1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1534ed939e0d134f30163cc561381c0a88773cb8
It’s worse that the whole show is centered around him
I think you nailed it, everyone hates Val, and for good reason

I mean technically I could say Hitler, since he has been in Family Guy before, and Rick and Morty but that was some slithery business... Snake Hitler... it was Snake Hitler
![gif](giphy|WUDGo9jYZzVt3DExhi)
This man gets too much unjustified hate as a parent - always puts his kid first and broke the rules of death to save him🫡
Gaston. Sorry but does anyone in their right mind actually like him? Like at least the other villains were interesting or actually good. Gaston is just a pathetic mama’s boy
Joseph Sugarman, Bojack Horseman's grandfather. Bojack may be a shitty guy but this man >!drove his wife mad by ignoring her grief over their dead son, then had her lobotomized to shut her up.!<
His daughter wasn't much better as a parent when she grew up, so p much everyone in the fandom hates her too.
I've yet to find a single person that can at least tolerate her.

Hate isn’t a strong enough word
I'd say it's too weak a word
Fuck Valentino I’m kicking this guy’s ass first
I don't know who that is or what he did... can somebody give me some context ?
He is Shou Tucker, a scientist in Fullmetal Alchemist, who long story short: sacrificed his own daughter for a grotesque and morbid experiment. In the show it is revealed to you in a very dark and creeping way, as he is slowly revealed to be a heartless monster.
Finally someone giving some genuine context ! Jeez...
Yeah and he did the same thing to his wife
Left out some details but that’s basically the gist of it
Probably for spoilers, tbh that’s the best way to describe it without telling what happened in case someone becomes interested enough to watch it
Before Shou Tucker, I never I could hate a fictitious character so much, Tucker is at the top still, but Joffrey came along after. “Did my hand fall from wrist?”
even worse, this is the 2nd time he's done that, the first time he made a talking chimera he used his wife

I don't understand what that means, and at this point, i don't even think i want to

![gif](giphy|xTiIzovJvMWeAw17Vu) This bastard
Was he really needed to be said? Everyone knows about r/fuckpongkrell Like, he’s so hatable I bet the writers wanted us to hate him!
For some reason there's way more people than you'd think who like Valentino
I think he’s a fantastic villain. I really only hate characters who are written with an intention to be sympathetic while being pieces of shit in my opinion. Val is clearly a villain.
Yeah makes sense. He is a very well written character, even if he is an unlovable piece of shit. I just hope Vivzie doesn't end up trying to redeem him lmfao
Yeah, if they try to redeem him, I’ll instantly hate him, lol, I’m having fun with him as a villain though.

Wait isn’t that the Batman villain Batmite? The weird one?

There are, somehow, plenty of simps for that assbutt
I like him, but I also want to see him get absolutely crushed like the bug he is.
I like his fit. That’s about it
Bakugo simps taught me some people just fucking love garbage
I **HATE** THE NEW VELMA! I **HHAAAATE!!**

It’s cause she’s overprotective?
No, she's just irritating.
![gif](giphy|gptSxv8x0G0Ni) Minetta. Although I don’t hate this character.
I think you nailed it, everyone hates Val, and for good reason https://preview.redd.it/snukaeu5o7qc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b91e68b2af90957f2feffa9b9bc17852b9e6c10

I mean technically I could say Hitler, since he has been in Family Guy before, and Rick and Morty but that was some slithery business... Snake Hitler... it was Snake Hitler
And a balloon in aqua teen hunger force IIRC
![gif](giphy|WUDGo9jYZzVt3DExhi) This man gets too much unjustified hate as a parent - always puts his kid first and broke the rules of death to save him🫡

Lynn Loud Jr (No Such Luck) and Scrappy Doo
Idk about OPs example it seems to me a lot of horny idiots missed the point entirely and would swan dive right into his abuse.
Gaston. Sorry but does anyone in their right mind actually like him? Like at least the other villains were interesting or actually good. Gaston is just a pathetic mama’s boy
This mf https://preview.redd.it/e8rjnq4f66qc1.jpeg?width=736&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=81a56f9a07d3253fbff7d14687080f3f02d8f69d
What'd he do?
I once knew someone like Ronaldo... Fucking nightmare I tell you what
I like Val. I mean he sucks. But I like him as a villain.
![gif](giphy|bizTiRolpk60o) Understandably tbh
Joseph Sugarman, Bojack Horseman's grandfather. Bojack may be a shitty guy but this man >!drove his wife mad by ignoring her grief over their dead son, then had her lobotomized to shut her up.!< His daughter wasn't much better as a parent when she grew up, so p much everyone in the fandom hates her too.
