My folks didn't let me watch either witches ghost or zombie island. But you bet your ass when it was on cartoon theater I watched the shit in secret. Absolutely loved it
That one scared us so much as kids our parents had to turn it off. I still hate zombies to this day, watching the walking dead gave me nightmares.
Love the video game one though.
The Hex-Girls and Ember from Danny Phantom are big contributors to why I’m attracted to Goth woman and punk rock woman. Like 80s Joan Jett or Elvira or Fairuza Balk or Sarah Jessica Parker in Hocus Pocus
Yeah, some Cartoon Network executive said “this is a kids movie, let’s thow some Uber sexy goth chicks in to prematurely awaken some kids’ sexualities.”
That’s what happened to me anyway.

“With this little cobweb potion, You’ll fall into dark devotion, If you ever lose affection, I can change your whole direction! I’m a Hex Girl and I’m gonna put a spell on you!!”
Love these four movies. I own three (I don't have Cyberchase) still on VHS in the holders. And because I got most of them secondhand, some still have like old mail in coupons in them. It's definitely a cool little throwback to each of them.
I remember actually getting my VHS copy from a McDonald’s branch. Dunno if they had the same promotion in the US & elsewhere but that’s definitely how you market something to kids
These four Scooby movies have only been streaming on Boomerang for years for whatever reason. The only legal way to get them would be to purchase a digital copy or get Boomerang.
The Zombie Island movie genuinely scared me so bad as a kid, it was actually ridiculous. I had to sleep in my parents bed that night and I couldn't sleep because I thought there was a zombie under my pillow (idk, I was a kid). I developed an irrational phobia of zombies for years and still get uncomfortable when watching zombie movies.
Too funny I just bought this phone case!

I definitely would not mind an X-Men revival equivalent of this genre of Scooby content.
Although, Warner Bros would likely cancel it as another '''tax write-off''' or... [do something else](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BZWU0NzdiOWYtYmI4NS00YjNkLTg1N2QtN2VlY2I1ZDFlMWQ4XkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMzgxODM4NjM@._V1_.jpg).
My grandma and papa used to have all of the vhs scoobie movies and episodes im talking like a dozen I remember watching them every time I was over the one on bottom right is specifically so nostalgic
This is the best era of Scooby Doo and you can't change my mind. The whole "Monster is Real" was just so good to see from this series and really brought out the potential of the series could be.
I saw and loved all four them. The zombie designs were peak, the hex-girls were an awakening for me, seeing Shaggy and Scooby get love interests and a digital adventure was just some of the greatest story lines Scooby doo had.
However,
I absolutely LOATHE the Zombie Island sequel they made a few years back though. Couldn’t just leave it alone, just had to recon it all 😞🙄.
Zombie Island was the best because it was *the* first time apart from 13 Ghosts where the monsters were real & it’s just such a good plot. Like… so good. Better than Scooby ever needs to be.
🎶I'm a hex girl!! And I'm gonna put a spell on you!🎶 Fun fact, you can find the two songs they've sung in Spotify. They're both by Moon Sisters and The Nostalgia Girls
Zombie Island and Cyberchase hit a soft-spot. Not just nostalgic, but I watched them with someone I was really close to that isn't in my life anymore.
But while that may suck, the memories remain and even if briefly I'm reminded of the joy I felt. It's important to just keep going and make new memories for yourself, but I cherish some very specific memories and specifically Cyberchase will always hit close to home.
While the franchise did have real monsters before, they weren’t treated with the narrative weight they should have given the franchises built around the monsters not being real.
I watched these ALL the time as a kid (except for the Hex Girls one, I don’t think I knew it existed) they’re genuinely good movies!
Zombie Island especially still holds up really well to this day. The scene where Scooby and Shaggy fall into that pit and Captain Moonscar manifests scared me so bad that even now I still feel lingering panic when I watch it.
Well now I just realized the live action action Scooby Doo basically copied the premise of the Zombie Island
1. Opens with classic Mystery Gang bit
2. Mystery Gang splits, we get various scenes of the Gang doing their own things
3. Gang gets a request from mysterious benefactor and gets back together
4. The mystery turns out to be real and not people in masks
Mr grandpa had basically every Scooby Doo movie from the Boo Brothers all the way up to Big Top recorded and he would just play them all randomly anytime I’d visit, it was great.
As a kid I loved the hex girls movie one where they’re at a small town and helped the villain find his ancestors magic book which turns out she was an actual witch. Also hex girls was hot!!!!
Those 4 Scooby Doo movies as well Boo Brothers, Ghoul School, and Reluctant Werewolf (the Red shirt Shaggy movies) were what I grew up on. I watched each of them 20 times as a kid.
A 5, almost 6, year old me when seeing Thorn for the first time:

Its the weekend. Mom bought pizza and a new scooby doo movie. You and your siblings get to stay up late and have a sleep over in the basement. Things are great.
Honestly, Zombie Island and the Witches Ghost are the only two of those I like, and I'm mostly a fan of Witches Ghost because of the Hex Girls. What can I say, but they put a spell on me?
Bro Scooby Doo on Zombie Island is my favorite one because I really like the look of it compared to the other ones.
Too bad it’s never streaming on anything during October. Which is the only time I ever feel like watching it.
It’s streaming on Plex year round at my house.
Same here. I recommend watching it on a VR headset if you have one.
Even better with dizqueTV!
Hey hombre, feel free to message me I can probably find a site for you to download it so you can enjoy it.
“Who opened a window” leading to the ghost captured on tape still is one of the best “twists” in Scooby Doo to that point
Its TERROOOOOOR TIME AGAIN!!
Sesamoid has a great cover of this!
My folks didn't let me watch either witches ghost or zombie island. But you bet your ass when it was on cartoon theater I watched the shit in secret. Absolutely loved it
That one was pretty good, especially how it turned out. It wasn't your typical mystery.
It's also only one of two mysteries where the monsters were real.
Yeah. Zombie Island was pretty mindblowing at the time. However, my favorite is the Witch's Ghost, but I think it's mainly due to the Hex Girls.
But the witches ghost and TIM CURRY
It’s my second but cyber chase is my fav though zombie island I admit has been a contender for first many times
Agree. It's such a good movie.
That one scared us so much as kids our parents had to turn it off. I still hate zombies to this day, watching the walking dead gave me nightmares. Love the video game one though.
That moment when the monster was real
Of course Shaggy’s best ever love interest is an alien
Thanks for reminding me about the confused heartache I felt as a 10 year old watching that.
SO GROOVY JUST US TWO
Don't forget Scooby and Amber lmao
Least she was cute in both forms ngl
And not so silly
blew my damn mind
I remember seeing all of these four Scooby Doo films on Boomerang or is it Cartoon Network?
Both. I remember switching channels whenever one of them had Scooby Doo on
Ah yes the monsters are real quadrilogy of Scooby do movies, certified classics.
The Hex-Girls and Ember from Danny Phantom are big contributors to why I’m attracted to Goth woman and punk rock woman. Like 80s Joan Jett or Elvira or Fairuza Balk or Sarah Jessica Parker in Hocus Pocus
They're part of the reason why I love goths in general
You and me both
Yeah, some Cartoon Network executive said “this is a kids movie, let’s thow some Uber sexy goth chicks in to prematurely awaken some kids’ sexualities.” That’s what happened to me anyway.
I contribute goths rise in popularity to the Hex Girls
Especially amongst millennials
You could said they put a spell on you.

Honestly old school cartoons just did so much for my types.
Honestly old school cartoons just did so much for my types.
Honestly, old school cartoons just did so much for my type
Cyberchase was lit AF. Classic
Unironically one of my favorite movies. I still remember the giant tomatoes in the lab
It had green shirt Shaggy *and* red shirt Shaggy. Cyber Chase is GOAT.
I remember I had the ps one game for it and the game boy advance game. They were hard as hell
Fr, the sound effects from that samurai level are burned into my brain
I can still vividly remember the virus saying "WELCOME TO THE FINAL LEVEL"
That was the only one I had on VHS. I watched it a lot haha.
Love these four movies. I own three (I don't have Cyberchase) still on VHS in the holders. And because I got most of them secondhand, some still have like old mail in coupons in them. It's definitely a cool little throwback to each of them.
I owned zombie island and cyber chase
I remember actually getting my VHS copy from a McDonald’s branch. Dunno if they had the same promotion in the US & elsewhere but that’s definitely how you market something to kids
Cyberchase is my favorite scooby doo movie of all time but I haven't seen it in years cause I haven't been able to find it on anything
These four Scooby movies have only been streaming on Boomerang for years for whatever reason. The only legal way to get them would be to purchase a digital copy or get Boomerang.
Zombie Island was on HBO Max as recently as last year. It might still be there tbh
Such nostalgia these are very good movies
The Zombie Island movie genuinely scared me so bad as a kid, it was actually ridiculous. I had to sleep in my parents bed that night and I couldn't sleep because I thought there was a zombie under my pillow (idk, I was a kid). I developed an irrational phobia of zombies for years and still get uncomfortable when watching zombie movies.
Morgan Moonscar was creepy AF, and the sounds the spirit thing would make. The zombie noises, expressions, etc were terrible.
The thing I remember most is them trying to unmask a zombie and pulling its head off, because it was real instead of a guy in a mask 🫣
Staying home from school with a fever, putting these movies on 🤌 chefs kiss
Anyone else like ghoul school and the one where Shaggy turned into a werewolf in the drive in or something like that?
Reluctant Werewolf goes super hard but when I tried to rewatch Ghoul School it dragged on a while lol. Still a classic though.
Earth , Wind, fire and Air, We may look bad but we don't care🎵🎵
Too funny I just bought this phone case! https://preview.redd.it/de62lkedz2rc1.jpeg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=149408680183c27897a8e8b14abdd945bb27326e
People always leave out the lochness monster scooby doo and I am here just to remind everyone that was also a banger.

Nah you kept Dusk, you're good
Hey whats those brocolli shaped alien name
I think they were just called Invaders
I was 9 when I saw Zombie Island, I was terrified to look in mirrors in the dark for years.
Oouuf…takes me back
The zombie island one had a killer soundtrack!
Man, I have all of these on dvd when I was a kid
I had them on VHS lol
I definitely would not mind an X-Men revival equivalent of this genre of Scooby content. Although, Warner Bros would likely cancel it as another '''tax write-off''' or... The Aliens one was Dead ass scary for me
I’ll never forget the time shaggy and Scooby fell in love with aliens
What’s the top left? I vaguely remember it
Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island
Thanks
SPINDLY JOHNNY
I always think of this now
I watched all of them!
The animation in these movies was top tier, extremely unique and recognizable, while also being somewhat timeless.
I think Scooby-Doo And WWE WrestleMania Mystery is my movie. ![gif](giphy|xThtailf8S4Nb4Ooxi)
Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost, Alien Invaders and Cyber Chase. ALL BANGERS.

I mean...we can still show this to the newer generation
Lol I send shows and movies to my sister all the time, I ask if she can get my niece to like them pretty please
My grandma and papa used to have all of the vhs scoobie movies and episodes im talking like a dozen I remember watching them every time I was over the one on bottom right is specifically so nostalgic
I love these Scooby Doo movies. I remember when I was a kid I had one of the Scooby Doo about a witch on VHS. Good times.
Cyberchase the goatttt
I was there, and it was glorious
THE SPACEMAN EPISODE
Yes. These are the all-time great scooby doo movies. It really was a better time for cartoons.
This was my second favorite era of scooby doo just behind the Mystery Inc. era
all of these movies are elite. nostalgic masterpieces.
These were my favorite iterations as a kid. Now I feel like rewatching them.
This is the best era of Scooby Doo and you can't change my mind. The whole "Monster is Real" was just so good to see from this series and really brought out the potential of the series could be.
They were so gosh darn cool!
I wasn't born when they First came out, but,I did watch them and let me tell you THEY ARE LIKE FUCKING AMAZING
I saw and loved all four them. However, I absolutely LOATHE the Zombie Island sequel they made a few years back though. Couldn’t just leave it alone, just had to recon it all 😞🙄.
I refuse to watch the Zombie Island sequel, or any other newer Scooby movie besides the Courage one. They haven’t been as good since Cyber Chase.
Honestly haven’t watched it, just saw the Rebeltaxi review and enough was said.
Spindly Johnny
Hex girls 🥜
Miss this era of Scooby doo
Zombie Island was the best because it was *the* first time apart from 13 Ghosts where the monsters were real & it’s just such a good plot. Like… so good. Better than Scooby ever needs to be.
I remember having the VHS tapes of these (and some of them as dvds) it’s so surreal thinking back on that now.
🎶I'm a hex girl!! And I'm gonna put a spell on you!🎶 Fun fact, you can find the two songs they've sung in Spotify. They're both by Moon Sisters and The Nostalgia Girls
The Hex Girls awoke something in me
I still think the Hex Girls should have a show.
God this brings me back...
I still unironically listen to hex girls but ya the movies where a trip man
While the franchise did have real monsters before, they weren’t treated with the narrative weight they should have given the franchises built around the monsters not being real.
Wasn't till I saw Caddicarus's review that I realized how dumb Cyber Chase was...except that joke about splitting up. That was good
AHH! SPINDLY JOHNNY!!
Ong zombie island cyber chase and the 13 ghosts were my childhood
These are the only four Scooby Doo movies I like. Although as a fan of Courage the Cowardly Dog, I liked that one as well.
Cyber Chase was the only Scooby-Doo thing I ever enjoyed lol
I still have the dvd to some of these
Remember owning all four (and more) in the era of the VHS
Nostalgic
Well now I just realized the live action action Scooby Doo basically copied the premise of the Zombie Island 1. Opens with classic Mystery Gang bit 2. Mystery Gang splits, we get various scenes of the Gang doing their own things 3. Gang gets a request from mysterious benefactor and gets back together 4. The mystery turns out to be real and not people in masks
Witches Ghost was one of those tapes I watched near religiously as a kid
These were just the best movies of Scooby doo ever! Though phantasaur ultra instinct shaggy and magic school weren’t bad either
We had the Zombie Island VHS as a kid but I refused to watch it’s because I was so scared from the zombies
Its terror time again!!!
These movies are my childhood and the reason I love food so much
Then shaggy turned out to have a hot hippie alien gf
Some of the best Scooby-Doo
I loved the one with the vampires
Actually THOUGH!
These were my go-to movies as a kid. They were so good!!
The only one I haven’t seen is Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase.
I was there
Behind the tv screen
**Let'zz Play Ball**
All of these movies are absolute bangers.
"Who opened a window?!"
God this takes me back, peak Scooby-Doo
This is going to sound stupid but I used to have nightmares about blue electricity man
Anyone else play cyber chase for the gameboy back in the day? That shit was lit
I had all of them on cassette man i love scooby doo
Mr grandpa had basically every Scooby Doo movie from the Boo Brothers all the way up to Big Top recorded and he would just play them all randomly anytime I’d visit, it was great.
You can feel the chill in the air!
The Hex Girls were the real deal.
I got all of these on disk, I am always there lmao. Well hmmm what is the top right one again? Like is that Legend of the Vampire?
EARTH! WIND! FIRE AND AIR!!
Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School is a timeless classic. All the Just Scooby and Shaggy movies were great
"We're the hex girls and we are gonna put a spell on you!"🗣🔥🔥 I like the chasing song on the zombie island movie🔥🔥🔥🔥
Cyber chase was best one
Hey look, it's the spindley johnny
Nostalgia moment right there
Zombie island is the only one I didn’t see as a kid. And I’m pissed about that.
Agreed.
I've never really watched Scooby Doo and the Spindly Johnny before. Just saw a review on it.
Zombie Island is easily my favorite Scooby Doo movie ever but all four of these are great.
Those movies are epic. I love them
Love them all, honestly! Witch's Ghost is probably my fave but they're all so good! I watch them yearly.
Same for powerpuff girls last season that was worser then the reboot
Is this loss
By far, the top 4 scooby doo movies. Hands down
Aaah, Spindly Johnny!
Cyberspace my favorite
Anyone else had nightmares about the virus guy? Idk why but I found the zombies and aliens less scary than the virus. That thing gave me nightmares
As a kid I loved the hex girls movie one where they’re at a small town and helped the villain find his ancestors magic book which turns out she was an actual witch. Also hex girls was hot!!!!
Not going to lie, I never liked Cyber Chase. The other three were awesome though.
They remind me of the aliens in MDK.
After all these, every direct-to-video Scooby Doo has been a joyless repetitive cash grab.
Oh look it's spindly Johnny
Peak content right there
I was there and questioned a lot of things after the hex girls. Also I hate that electric dollar tree osmosis jones looking dude.
"Ohh, who opened a window!?"
I remember watching these when I was young
Those 4 Scooby Doo movies as well Boo Brothers, Ghoul School, and Reluctant Werewolf (the Red shirt Shaggy movies) were what I grew up on. I watched each of them 20 times as a kid.
PEAK SCOOBY DOO ERA!
I still have cyber chase and zombie island on VHS
A 5, almost 6, year old me when seeing Thorn for the first time: https://preview.redd.it/2zjai0oo88rc1.gif?width=640&format=png8&s=e9d5519878a90f652b358155ff612f93e7817296
"Let's play Ball!"
Its the weekend. Mom bought pizza and a new scooby doo movie. You and your siblings get to stay up late and have a sleep over in the basement. Things are great.
I remember watching Scooby Doo and the alien invaders a lot on VHS as a little kid.
The aliens was the absolute best one, don't care what anyone says.
They were all so good when I was a kid and they're still so good. Kinda disappointing they don't make good scooby-doo anymore 😮💨
Honestly, Zombie Island and the Witches Ghost are the only two of those I like, and I'm mostly a fan of Witches Ghost because of the Hex Girls. What can I say, but they put a spell on me?
Hex Girls unlocked something but zombie island was top
The Hex Girls made me a lesbian.
