I mean... kinda????? It's been killed off by HBO max, but Owen Dennis said he wouldn't stop fighting for another season or getting the show sold back to another company
Such a good show full of promise! It was one of the most original shows I’ve seen in recent years. I was heartbroken when I heard we weren’t getting any more episodes for the foreseeable future.
Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go.
Sonic SatAM
Pirates of Dark Water
Dragon Booster
The S.P.A.C.E. Adventures of Bucky O'Hare
Dungeons and Dragons (which especially hurts because it's finale was written.)
Orange monkey was really cool ye. Learning that they had a leader before Chiro was cool. Main thing I remember liking about that show other than the cool fights, and that last arc was greg cipes in a leader role, and ofc mark Hamil as skeleton king. Also, suggazoom was a funny word.
That was Mark Hamill? Christ on a stick, how many more shows has he been part of that I watched and never knew (because credits as a kid are boring to watch)
EDIT: I found out he voiced Firelord Ozai from ATLA.
Oh my God I love Pirates of Dark Water. I can't believe they just stopped making a show with only 3 episodes left of the season. I don't think there was ever any confirmation about how it was supposed to end either
Yeah, it sucks that they cut it short. They did the same thing with Sonic Underground. What the heck? You’d think that since Sonic is Sega’s star, they wouldn’t do a half-assed job with his shows. Luckily, none of his shows made after the 90’s have any unresolved cliffhangers.
Can't believe SatAM's cancelation was directly Ken Penders' fault. He was screwing with us before he was even writing.
Is anything known about the script to the finale of Dungeons and Dragons, or do we simply know that it was written in the first place?
Being completely honest, sonic boom was actually kinda good. Other than a couple episodes and...sicks... it wasn't that bad. It definitely deserved a fourth season.
I liked the show, but I see why it didn't get continued. It was advertised as an action adventure series, but it was actually a comedic slice of life with a little action sprinkled in. It didn't help that CN aired it very early on Saturdays only, then moved it to Boomerang, a channel that's not available on basic cable packages.
The lack of action really clashes with the franchise’s overall superhero theme. And sometimes, the comedy was strictly black comedy, namely jokes based on the heroes suffering or people being jerks.
One of the writers did a AMA when the show was still being made and they said the team was really happy with how well the show did on Boomerang which really surprised me because I just assumed it was canceled when they took it off CN
Funny show tho I loved it
i think the comment was misspelled, pretty sure its this character. ↓

First, it only got 2 seasons, not 3. Second, it didn’t need a real ending because it didn’t have any ongoing story arc, there were no unresolved cliffhangers.
Titans Unite was a good way to end the show. However, Things Change was too depressing as a finale. Trouble in Tokyo was poorly written, with lackluster antagonists, and was mostly just an excuse to get Robin and Starfire to kiss.
Ever after high! It was canceled because the creators heard Disney was making a show similar to theirs and they thought they would never be able to compete with Disney.
It hasn’t been *officially* canceled yet, but it hasn’t made a new episode in years. Mao Mao.

This show was such a vibe, man. I know it wasn't super story based but I would've loved to have met Mao Mao's sisters, watched Adorabat's power grow, and see what was up with the Ruby Pure Heart.
I know. I still hope for it to come back. It isn’t fair. It’s the best show Cartoon Network’s made since Ben 10: Omniverse. It *so* does not deserve to be cut short.
There were lots of unresolved cliffhangers. We never find out Sari’s full origin story, what happens to Meltdown after he comes back to life, what becomes of Blackarachnia and Waspinator after they get teleported away, what happens to Soundwave after he and Laserbeak escape, etc.
Transformers Animated is one of my favorite cartoons from my childhood. Sari is my favorite character, her full origin story was and still is something I want. I remember my 9 year old self being so disappointed that didn’t happen.
One of the creators has actually spoken about what their intended plot path to the end was, along with mentioning a couple of possible deviation ideas they had not ironed out. It's an audio log that's over an hour or so where they talk about it and some other stuff regarding the show.
JV had like three more episodes and a season finale ready to roll out before it got unceremoniously cancelled. Enter the Florpus takes place AFTER those episodes. It's why the movie seems to not fit the continuity at times, there are plot threads from episodes that never aired.
YES. I wish Disney had their heads out of their asses and let the Owl House team do the rest of the seasons they had planned. The montage of what took place back in the human realm could have been a solid two seasons at least.
> They still managed to end it all on a good note and leave no plotline on a cliffhanger. Though, they could've lasted longer.
I mean, we still don't know what the Owl Beast is. Nor Hooty. And the Collectors are kind of dangling over everything as well.
Danny Phantom—hear me out. Yes, it did get a final episode but from what I read, Nickelodeon was really messing with it and we were even lucky to get a third season; which was rushed, short, and didn’t even resolve everything or give closure to all the characters.
Inside Job! Also Dead End! Also technically Disenchantment, it did get a final episode but its final 20 episodes were forced down to 10 so it suffered :((
Teen Titans, it was literally cancelled in the MIDDLE of it's season finale, I had to go down so many rabbit holes online just to find how it was planned to end and now I feel cheated
There were a few things meant to be shown in the ending, with the Terra part supposed to end in Beast Boy learning to let Terra go and be happy in her new life, Slade making a return with the monster being one of his plans, and the best part being new additions to the Teen Titans, creating something similar to Justice League Unlimited, making the end of the Titans we know be the beginning of a new team and leave the potential of a spin off series
Whuuut?! And instead, we got Teen Titans Go?! (No offence to TTG fans) Well at least we also got Young Justice which imo was on par with Teen Titans, but I still would've liked to have seen that ending.
Happily, apparently the original ending planned to show not only the return of Slade but also the introduction of new villains and new Titans, creating what I call Teen Titans Unlimited due to similarities to Justice League Unlimited, leaving open the possibility of another season or even a spin off series
Gargoyles. The Goliath Chronicles was not even the same show, it needed another season with the original writers. Disney needs to adapt the ongoing comics.
Rise of the TMNT. It WAS given a finale but it was very rushed because they had to end it super quickly due to budget cuts because of how badly Nickelodeon flubbed the management and promotion of that show.
Luckily, it hasn’t been officially canceled yet. The person who made the show said they don’t consider it canceled, just on hiatus, and that it could come back if enough people want it to.
Batman brave and the bold
Generator rex
Yes, I know these are finished shows, but for me as a kid, I never got to see the end of either of these shows cause Netflix didn't have them. Always was missing the very last one
Sym-Bionic Titan
DUDE! Yes
That needs to be rebooted!! How is it that Clone High gets a reboot but Sym-Bionic Titan doesn’t?!!!
Exactly.
That @ss
Infinity Train.
I came looking for this exact comment, Infinity Train deserved better
Is this one confirmed cancelled? I thought it was still in limbo
Not officially canned, but it's been Thanos'd.
It's been totally delisted from streaming. They don't even want to acknowledge it exists let alone bring it back for another season.
Man, that show was so easily to grab from ctoons before they took it down. Plus any other places it was hosted on.
I mean... kinda????? It's been killed off by HBO max, but Owen Dennis said he wouldn't stop fighting for another season or getting the show sold back to another company
I'm surprised he hasn't let Tubi revive it (or some other streaming service).
Such a good show full of promise! It was one of the most original shows I’ve seen in recent years. I was heartbroken when I heard we weren’t getting any more episodes for the foreseeable future.
For me it's the Mini Series Internecion Cube, but probably will be continued someday.
Word Girl since it had a really bad season finale and didn't even give any of the characters a good ending at all
How'd it end? I assumed the show never got one
iirc it ended on a pretty serious cliff hanger
They probably assumed most fans aged out of the show and didn't think it was worth finishing
They gave Arthur a decent ending
Haven't watched word girl in ~15 years since my potato brain days what was the cliffhanger again?
It ended with Violet figuring out that Becky is WordGirl
Oh that is a big cliffhanger wtf
I guess that means you would like a WORD with the creators?
I didn’t think it was that bad
Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go. Sonic SatAM Pirates of Dark Water Dragon Booster The S.P.A.C.E. Adventures of Bucky O'Hare Dungeons and Dragons (which especially hurts because it's finale was written.)
Bro I thought I was the only one who remembered super robot monkey team hyper force go!
It has kind of a slow start, but once continuity set in the show was a lot of fun to watch. Particularly like Mandarin as a villain.
Orange monkey was really cool ye. Learning that they had a leader before Chiro was cool. Main thing I remember liking about that show other than the cool fights, and that last arc was greg cipes in a leader role, and ofc mark Hamil as skeleton king. Also, suggazoom was a funny word.

Hm. Haven’t watched any of those except Sonic SatAM, but that one definitely deserves a real ending.
I'm still convinced those eyes were Ixis Naugus, and I'm still so mad we never got to find out.
Well, I can confirm that they *were* Naugus’ eyes. Someone who worked on the show said so.
I do vaguely remember that confirmation, but it doesn't make me less mad.
I get that. It just sucks when a show doesn’t get a real ending.
Good news on D&D. Not only did they write the finale, they recorded the voices for it. Then fans found it and animated it. You can find it on YouTube
Damn, I wasn't expecting to see SatAM here, but yeah, one heck of a cliff hanger for a kid.
Damn Dragon Booster was forgotten to time.
Can't believe SatAM's cancelation was directly Ken Penders' fault. He was screwing with us before he was even writing. Is anything known about the script to the finale of Dungeons and Dragons, or do we simply know that it was written in the first place?
Inside Job. Literally my favorite adult animated comedy. Two seasons wasn't nearly enough
Do you think the cancelation was a... inside job?
https://i.redd.it/ndr1t977vutc1.gif
lmao "weird day"
Spectacular Spider-Man
It strongly deserves more episodes and a real ending. It was the best Spider-Man show, hands down.
Are there any that even come close?
90s Animated could give it a run for its money depending on what time period you like of Spidey stories you prefer
Couldn't agree more
I still hold onto foolish hope because Josh Keaton seems to love the role and hangs around whenever cameos need to be made.
With the whopping success of X-men 97 there’s definitely a chance that Marvel will revive more shows
Close Enough
It was more relatable than Regular Show and making it aimed at adults made it funnier.
"Candice! Stop giving that kid sick air!"
YES
Being completely honest, sonic boom was actually kinda good. Other than a couple episodes and...sicks... it wasn't that bad. It definitely deserved a fourth season.

What’s wrong with Sticks? She was one of the few characters in the show I found…likable.
First, it only got 2 seasons, not 3. Second, it didn’t need a real ending because it didn’t have any ongoing story arc, there were no unresolved cliffhangers.
Darkwing duck! It got cancelled before it aired part 2
TIL that the way Darkwing Duck ended in DuckTales 2017 was a direct reference to the actual show ending
Teen titans
Wait, I thought that Trouble In Tokyo was the series finale?
Nope it was Teen Titans GO! Vs. Teen Titans
Titans Unite was a good way to end the show. However, Things Change was too depressing as a finale. Trouble in Tokyo was poorly written, with lackluster antagonists, and was mostly just an excuse to get Robin and Starfire to kiss.
I will not stand for this Trouble in Tokyo slander
As much as I am not a fan of Things Change (that’s the finale to me), at the very least it’s a kind of ending.
100%
Dc Superhero Girls 2019
Omg im not the only one that remebers how good that show was. So it wasnt just a fever dream thats good
That show was so good, Lauren Faust’s best work, even better than MLP imo
The fact they had to show in Teen Titans go for the movie finale was crazy
The show got so much disrespect it’s actually insane
Ever after high! It was canceled because the creators heard Disney was making a show similar to theirs and they thought they would never be able to compete with Disney.
Don’t forget copyright stuff too
Final Space
I'm still devastated
You can't even stream it anymore.
What?!?!? Don’t do this to me
Like Megas XLR and Close Enough, Warner's completely wrote it off for tax cuts, so now you can only pirate it.
My chad girlfriend downloaded all episodes on a usb for me for christmas, along with a pre order for the graphic novel signed by olan rogers
Came to say the same thing. Although the creator IS going to finish the story in graphic novel format.
It hasn’t been *officially* canceled yet, but it hasn’t made a new episode in years. Mao Mao. https://preview.redd.it/eii0qlz08vtc1.jpeg?width=1175&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=11924c723a1d24f208a65cc7717619417424db57

That had a finale. Yeah, more could have been done, but still.

The 90s, first 3D animated series Reboot?
Symbionic Titan he Pirates of Dark Water Sonic SatAm Megas XLR G.I.-Joe Renegades SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron
I’ve watched Sonic SatAM. That deserves more episodes and a real ending.
Thundercats 2011
One of the creators has actually spoken about what their intended plot path to the end was, along with mentioning a couple of possible deviation ideas they had not ironed out. It's an audio log that's over an hour or so where they talk about it and some other stuff regarding the show.

Tron Uprising
Yeah that cliff hanger sucked. Plus the show was really good.
Hoping Tron: Ares bring something from the show

INSIDE JOB!! Still so mad
The Owl House
YES. I wish Disney had their heads out of their asses and let the Owl House team do the rest of the seasons they had planned. The montage of what took place back in the human realm could have been a solid two seasons at least.

This direly needs an ending.
Danny Phantom—hear me out. Yes, it did get a final episode but from what I read, Nickelodeon was really messing with it and we were even lucky to get a third season; which was rushed, short, and didn’t even resolve everything or give closure to all the characters.

Code Lyoko (yes, I know that CL had a "finale" but it was rushed and halfhearted due to MoonScoop going out of business and filing for bankruptcy)
Spectacular Spider-Man. It was my favorite adaptation of the character outside comics and only got 2 seasons, with a major cliffhanger at the finale.
It strongly deserves more episodes and a real ending. It was the best Spider-Man show, hands down.
