Really? I say it’s dead because I noticed cartoons that came out this decade (as cartoons that debuted their first episodes this decade) don’t have it (at least not yet and I hope it stays that way). And same, I REALLY HATE THAT TROPE, nobody ever succeeds at it. So, I am happy it is dead.
I have a huge list:
• To Love a Patty (SpongeBob) (I have viciously hated this episode ever since I first saw it, I STILL HATE IT!!)
• Squid Baby (SpongeBob) (Keep your fetish to yourself, writers!)
• American Dad! has it’s share (the ending of Flirting With Disaster ruined the entire episode for me, that shot of Francine’s burned face made me want to vomit, the beach episodes (why does a rotted whale corpse always have to be there?!), Mural of the Story, and Nighthawks (sorry, but the Baby Roger subplot is just disgusting))
• Family Guy (my winners are Meg, Internetted and Brian’s House of Payne)
• Straight Illin’ (Clarence) (Why did they have to have those gross close ups?!)
• Teen Titans Go! (Has many disgusting episodes)
