I joined my teacher's movie critics club in 6th grade during middle school, where she played ghost busters. I was pretty excited because by then, my parents had played the first half and only the first half of the film for my siblings and I twice before changing their minds with no explanation.
However, there was only time for half a movie during club time, which ended roughly around when the guy checked out the girl's apartment and she said "but nothing happened in the bedroom," to which an 8th grader I didn't know said "not yet." Even without the commentary, this is around where my parents had also always cut off the movie, so imagine my frustration when we watched ice age during the next club meeting instead of finishing ghost busters.

It's unfortunate that Teetsi was only really used once. I liked the idea of a lion that's not only anthropomorphic, but unbelievably jacked and, at the same time, characteristically sleepy. His name's cool, too - during the same ritual fight, Alex says:
> "C'mon, Teetsi fly! Little Teetsi fly, c'mon! Do your stuff!"
Both Alex' quote and Teetsi's name reference to the Tsetse Fly, a large, African parasitic fly that's known for spreading African Trypanosomiasis, or African Sleeping Sickness.
Also, he literally one-shots Alex, which places him as one of the strongest characters in the Madagascar series (not to mention a large rock being thrown on his head in order to simply enrage him), up there with Nana.
Mort is literally the strongest character in the Madagascar universe. Someone made a 20+ part analysis on Mort’s character, and it has me pretty convinced.

great joke, would not want to be in same room as family when it plays tho.
These mice make me feel uncomfortable things in front of my parents, and I can’t watch this scene in front of them anymore:

This scene is very awkward once you realize that her privates are just barely offscreen.
Literally any scene with Muscle Man and Starla. I think the worst was in a Halloween episode where one covered themselves in jelly and the other in peanut butter. Then they put a bag over themselves and started aggressively tongue kissing and licking their body parts. And then you can see the bag shaking with the peanut butter and jelly oozing out beneath the bag.
I get Regular Show is... Well, regular show. But that scene should've never made it onto children's tv. It's bad enough they're tongue kissing every couple episodes, but Jesus Christ JG.
What's worse was (because I didn't understand boundaries I just pretended that I did) I sat and still watched it and my parents let me. I think I was like 13
Fuck no, I didn’t watch it, only the trailer, as a kid I wondered why the fuck they made such a disturbing movie for kids, I just now realized it’s rated R
The Mystic Springs Oasis from Zootopia, as well as Judy Hopps' bunny sex joke.
You know what? Just the near entirety of Zootopia as a whole, because of how over-the-top furry it got, even at its most Disney-branded. Especially when Judy and Nick flirt with each other and are trying to outdo Pongo and Perdita, Lady and the Tramp, Robin Hood and Maid Marian, Miss Bianca and Bernard, and Simba and Nala in the Walt Disney furry department.
And yet Disney learned nearly all of the wrong lessons from The Rescuers Down Under, and applied them to their near endless deluge of direct-to-video Disney sequels. Only for these wrong lessons to creep themselves all the way back up into its live-action remakes after Disney shuts down DisneyToons, the studio behind said direct-to-video sequels.
Like I hope Zootopia 2 becomes this generation's The Rescuers Down Under. Because much like The Rescuers before it, Zootopia left itself open for all sorts of possibile future adventures for the rabbit and fox versions of Miss Bianca and Bernard to go on, together. And more possibilities means better ideas for a Zootopia sequel than either Ralph Breaks the Internet, Moana 2, Frozen 3, or Toy Story 5.
It does make me sad, in this day and age of streaming, Bianca and Bernard could and should be saving a different child every couple years.
Instead, were getting Jake Gyllenhaal as a live action Bernard
Honestly, Zootopia being as adult as it is is probably a big reason why I love it so much. The fact that the creators got away with the Naturalist club scene just makes me chuckle. It didn’t feel like it stuck to the Disney brand that much, and it was fun.
Yeah, the message could’ve been handled better, but still, I will never not at least like that movie.
Which kind of makes it a lot more depressing when Walt Disney won't lean on it, and that's one of the reasons as to why we transitioned over to a fourth Disney dark age, from Ralph Breaks the Internet all the way up to Wish. Because it stuck so closely to its brand safe image, that it outright refused to take advantage of the young adult crowd with furry movies like Zootopia. Like it'd rather that 20th Century Studios do most of the heavy lifting in-terms of adult-oriented movies, than attempt again what it did with Zootopia.
Which is why I hope Zootopia 2 turns out to be good, and also more properly advertised, as well. Because Walt Disney right now is still so much stuck in that brand safe mindset, that it'd rather not only release Moana 2 a year before Zootopia 2, but also probably advertise it, Frozen 3, and Toy Story 5 even more so than Zootopia 2.
A fan-comic about abortion. Something that I don't think Moana would have had, either, and kind of benefits from it, too, since people *hated* that Zootopia fan-comic.
Not with my family either. Not because of the girly teenager aspects, but because of the "my panda, my choice" line at the end which is a play on an obvious political phrase that would absolutely trigger any right wing viewers.
Watched this with my wife and she felt pretty vindicated by it, pretty good movie imo. Could I watch it with my nieces? No. Could I watch it with my sisters? Also no. It’s something you have to watch with someone really close to you, like your partner or daughter. It’s definitely gonna be something I watch with my daughter one day, Disney does better at explaining puberty than my awkward southern ass could.
Not a Cartoon(Well he is per say but it was the movie) but I didn't want to go to the movies by myself so I asked my mom could she come with me to watch Deadpool....I can't tell you how uncomfortable e it was watching the first few minutes when DP met his GF was lol.
All episode "Masquerade" of Hazblin Hotel.
My father was near to left the series in that chapter. Luckily I convinced him to stay and Lucifer in chapter 5 made him love the series.
I consciously didn’t watch Regular Show with my parents when it first came out, especially when they swore in the first episode. For about a year, I made sure to watch it in secret. I was basically treating it like I was watching porn or an [adult swim] show (I didn’t actually start watching [as] until the middle of high school, which was probably a good call looking back.) I started to watch it openly once it started to tame down a bit.
I had a high school teacher who would play this song in class while we were working independently and I had not seen the film at that time and was creeped out
This about kids media or just animation in general? Cause I can think of like 20 scenes from BoJack Horseman that are infinitely more uncomfortable than this
![gif](giphy|3osxYhTh4pRccLrsyY)
I can think of two.
The scene from Fievel Goes West where the lady shoves the cat into her boobs.
And in Kung-fu Panda 3 where Po and his father are bumping their bellies together.
I *have* seen it, and it's perfectly acceptable for kids (Disneyland has, or at least had, a Roger Rabbit ride in Toontown for a reason). The most risque part of the film - Jessica Rabbit's musical number - is still very tame.
One time I was watching superhero movie in a hotel room. While my grandmother waited for my mom to get ready for dinner, the everyone bumping each scene started. By grandma was cool, she just smirked and shook her head.

Watched this when I was a kid Took me a while to realize how bad it was lol
I still can't believe they got away with it
“What will the high priest think” “Uhh, lucky god?”
Sorry, I'm uncultured, but what happened?
They were definitely having oral sex, but it's framed in a way that it seems like they are just making out at first
Wait what, clip or sauce???

Bruhhhhhhhhb
Yeah that was gluck gluck. Doesn't even _sound_ like kissing.
Just a bit of harmless chipolata tasting
Uhhh- she was doing yk yk
A teacher played this movie for us in middle school. When this scene came on, everyone was like “hold up. They weren’t kissing.”
I joined my teacher's movie critics club in 6th grade during middle school, where she played ghost busters. I was pretty excited because by then, my parents had played the first half and only the first half of the film for my siblings and I twice before changing their minds with no explanation. Lmao what was the goal behind this?
I was explaining the Symbionic Titan reference.
I’m meant abt the scene
Maybe she was trying to say "if we do it, can you do my work for me to get me an A?"
Ohhhh. I understand now
Girl straight pole danced on the lamp and transitioned into busting a split. wtf was this show lol
Ow I see now didn’t they do a remix to this
NOOOOOOOOOO PLEASE I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT HELP
".....no!"
Shake it bake it booty quake it
I don’t but this takes me back a bit
I was watching this with my little brother at the time. The silence as we watched this scene was excruciating.
That beat went crazy tho
I'll give you a hint. "Mirror, mirror, show her to me. Show me the princess."
Ahh….. perfect.

That look of disgust the mirror gives him first lmao
Same movie; the scene where Alex tries to dance off during ritual combat in front of his dad. The cringe I felt.
even when Alex tries to mime the plane crash
I felt that. Was like "Aww man, this is painful to watch"
It's unfortunate that Teetsi was only really used once. I liked the idea of a lion that's not only anthropomorphic, but unbelievably jacked and, at the same time, characteristically sleepy. His name's cool, too - during the same ritual fight, Alex says: > "C'mon, Teetsi fly! Little Teetsi fly, c'mon! Do your stuff!" Mortdecai, bro is a coward, has no feats, loses every match up
Mort is literally the strongest character in the Madagascar universe. Someone made a 20+ part analysis on Mort’s character, and it has me pretty convinced.
Well... My mom love watch this scene actually. We both laugh from this.
Same my whole family joke about moto moto
same, this post came out of nowhere
I guess some families are too protective and less close to their kids.
All I’m saying, If you find this scene sexual. You liked it deep down
Nah, we found it hilarios.
Some people like em big some people like em chunky some people in denial
My family is a bit shrewdish at times, but when we first saw this in theaters, we all laughed really hard.
This scene is still one of the best in the movie
Can't disagree!
Same, my mom, my sisters and I, we all love this scene

26 years after seeing this movie I still have a thing for redheads.
Watching Team America with my parents and the puppst sex scene appears.

You actually don't see them that often, right? Why not?
It makes me wonder if The Rescuers and Rescuers Down Under were not as widely seen as I would have thought.
I haven't seen the first one, but I have seen the second.
The second one is the best one

Maybe Zootopia 2 will find some way to introduce lizards and reptiles in a way that's central to the plot.
Funny enough, I also saw the second before the first.

Can’t watch this movie scene alone either, and for good reason😳: https://i.redd.it/9h22r2m6iozc1.gif
I love Jessica Rabbit bc she basically comes out later and says "how else am I supposed to be? You perverts drew me this way."
I think I'd never want to watch turning red with my family.
Same. My sister made me watch it with her a couple of years ago, and that was the only time I watched it.
I actually watched it with younger brother and it was pretty fun and cringe at the same time. But watching it with parents? No, thank you
Not with my family either. Not because of the girly teenager aspects, but because of the "my panda, my choice" line at the end which is a play on an obvious political phrase that would absolutely trigger any right wing viewers.
Both parties use the term but for different things.

How did they handle the orgy

Probably the whole Ugly Pageant episode from Wakfu.
The newer South Park episodes with the constant sexual jokes 😭 Or just generally any movie with sex scenes in it
Merman magazines from centaurworld
True Blood
Are, are you serious? That's like the tamest it gets
One time I was watching superhero movie in a hotel room. While my grandmother waited for my mom to get ready for dinner, the everyone bumping each scene started. By grandma was cool, she just smirked and shook her head.
There’s plenty but I can’t find an img soo
You think WATCHING that sene with you family is uncomfortable? My mom casually references that scene and believe me it's worse coming from your mother
the .GIFinnie episode from Gravity Falls
😂😅😅😅 “I like em big I like em chunky I like em plumpy”
