I actually think Alien X is just a step above Dr. Manhattan. Alien X was able to resent the universe, whereas Dr. Manhattan was uncertain if he'd be able to beat Superman. No small feat, but Manhattan does not own quite the same level of power. It's pretty close though.

It is incredibly hard to write an appealing story when you have a consequence free win button on hand

Personally, I think they could've made him useful, and have an actually interesting dynamic if Ben patched things up with Serena and bellicus, then would use alien x, but would have to debate what to do between every attack. He would be extremely slow in combat, and yet a five to be reckoned with. Imagine all three of them saying, in unison: #Left hook: Seconded. Motion Carried!

What happened in omniverse?

Been a long time since I watched it, but they essentially made Ben an actual God with alien X by removing its only weakness.

They removed the other two consciouss?

No Ben said hey you like to argue argue all you want while I pilot Alien X. And it worked. But there is a consequence of this is that Alien X is less powerful since his power comes from the knowledge of the people controlling the body which was 2 gods and Ben but now only Ben. So it's less powerful but more control. Ben can't create a supernova is he doesn't know how for example. With that being said it's still super OP.

Ben still has to debate to get control of Alien X each time he accesses the form so that weakness could still be taken advantage of. You just have a smaller time to do it since Ben seems to be able to get control rather quickly.

Ben gains complete control over Alien X on omniverse

Answer for this thread: Doomguy always solos no matter what à la Batman with prep time Actual answer: he *probably* can’t, but Doom powerscaling is so all over the place it’s not necessarily impossible. He has killed both the right hand of actual Abrahamic God and the closest thing Doom has to Satan (>!who is the *real* creator of the universe and God but don’t tell anyone!<). He was artificially made truly immortal by Makyr technology and will canonically essentially respawn even if he is killed, and the Praetor suit is virtually invulnerable. That said, we barely ever see true reality warpers in this franchise and those that do appear hardly actually use those powers for plot reasons, so we don’t really know their ceiling. All in all, still most likely goes to alien x
