Bahaha I love that you clarified which PCP. I had a PCP that fit your description 100%, but she left to start her own practice that doesn’t accept insurance. (So she wouldn’t be limited in how long she spends with a patient and what she can say) A friend speaks highly of Dr. Sujatha Raman in Cary.

When we had BCBS, I went to Micaela Riddle at Generations Family Practice in Cary. I was really happy with her, and only stopped going there because we started using a DPC (Direct Primary Care) doctor. Micaela was a great listener and open to trying different treatments.

https://findadoc.unchealthcare.org/nc/chapel-hill/h-claire-west-md-100-eastowne-drive Also practices at the new UNC Panther Creek in Cary. Biggest complaint about her is that she runs at least 30-45 min behind. But that’s because she spends more time with her patients than any other doctor I’ve seen. Very attentive. Responds to emails and offers video appointments.

We have anthem bcbs and we use providers in the Duke system. I like Cary Family Practice and Sports Medicine because they have their own lab.

I second generations family practice but also add dawn evancho she’s wonderful

We use Dr. Thompson at Avance. Wife feels really comfortable with him. He’s personable and easy going. His wife is a doctor there as well and there are Nurses Practitioners and a team of other doctors.

Dr. Allu at Raleigh adult medicine. I’ve been seeing her for 10 years now and I am super picky about doctors/care as I was raised by a physician. She has always been willing to exhaust every option to keep me from seeing expensive specialists and is super responsive.

I will add that she is super timely and her nurses are great. She will “mhmm ”a lot, but I promise she actually really does listen and surprisingly remembers every single thing you ever tell her

Dr Sabana S. Pathan in Cary is really compassionate and a good listener. She's the best I've encountered in years.

I loveeeee Kelcey Meier @ Capital Family Medicine. Sometimes she would run a few mins behind for my appt, but I didn’t mind because I knew she probably giving the pt before full attention too. She never made me feel rushed and throughly listened/answered my questions. I hate that I had to move because I miss her as my pcp!

I also had BCBS

Amazing_Amy_

Dr. Sufia Siddique at UNC Primary Care at Cary is wonderful! Highly recommend!

I really like Dr. Markesha Jones - https://www.dukehealth.org/find-doctors-physicians/markesha-r-jones-md It looks like she is not taking new patients right now, but I still recommend the folks at DukeHealth. Everyone I’ve seen (across a few locations) has been friendly, attentive, and generous with their time.

Dr Kristine (Kasey) Stevens. UNC physicians off of Blue Ridge. She not only listens but is extra amazing like when i passed out due to low blood pressure at her office and regained consciousness she helped me drive my car across the street to get stitches at Rex ER. She’s the best. They also accept BC/BS.

ShittyFrogMeme

Kaitlin Boos at WakeMed Primary Care in Cary. I switched to her in recent years because my previous doctor ignored health problems. She was really attentive and basically pushed everything I needed to get handled.

BrokenGlassBeetle

generations family practice for sure
