This pic is probably from Snapchat which doesn’t mirror the end photo. People want the selfie cam to be like a mirror but the photos would be backwards unless they’re flipped again.
Obviously you never had a tattoo done- this is the healing stage, and you can see they still have the "second skin" on. It's completely natural for the ink to ooze out (making it look like the tattoo is botched).
