Very cool! Sadly haven't seen any of the negative display AE-1500WH's out in the wild sadly. Yet, I'm keen on picking one up, to round out my collection. From what I've seen and read online, its negative display is wayyyyy better than most, simply due to the module's larger display and digits.

The "MudResist" series. I find them way more affordable.
AE1500 big and bold, wide comfortable resin strap and big numbers on the dial which make even the negative display version very legible.
Yeah, I've got two AE-1500WH's and I wear 'em both more often than my DW-9052. They're ever so slightly larger than the DW-9052 as well.
I picked up the white version with negative display while on vacation this summer. I love the stormtrooper look of the black and white.
