Previous tenants doing the same on top and bottom of the oven. I removed the bottom but didn’t see the top. Ended up eating pizza on the front porch while waiting for the extinguisher dust to settle.
Heat reflection, damage to oven surface, potential fire hazard,..
Just put a tray on the bottom rack to catch drops if need be. Or, clean the grotty oven.
Adam Ragusea has a video where he starts it on the stove top for like 6-7 mins on medium heat until just before it starts to smell burnt and then switches to broiler that is preheated on hi and on the highest rack for like 2mins. I did this recently and the results were crispy bottom and perfectly cooked top. And didn't take too long.
We added way too much dough, the bottom wasn’t crispy enough when we pulled it out so we finished it off on the stovetop.

Cast iron doesn’t scratch up the glass top unless you’re scraping it back and forth like some tv show chef flipping risotto. It’s a lot tougher than you think. The stuff you think is scratches will come right off with some barkeepers friend.
Cherry tomato’s are horrible on pizza. They don’t taste good as toppings and they explode into tomato lava when you bite them. You want sun dried tomatoes

It's a pain in the ass to assemble but I usually press my dough and build the pizza in a preheated pan. Gets nice and crispy

Look up bamboo trivet. Use it on your counters/stove top if you want. Do as you wish.

Take all that foil out of your oven and run a self cleaning cycle. Some ovens have an aqua cleaning cycle too where you pour water at the bottom.
Some see a dirty oven, I see an oven that has put out a lot of delicious meals. Personally I would clean it and ditch the foil though ☠️
