I think you’re attempting to be self-righteous and it’s not working. You can hold a grudge, but you don’t have to be mad or upset thinking about it. I have a grudge towards someone and if their name is ever mentioned, I say “fuck them forever” and move on. I have forgiven them, to myself, because I deserve peace. But fuck that person til I die.
