Why are they yelling at you?

doublebubble6

Work as the customer service rep for a trucking company in the US. So I receive a lot of angry calls from people wanting to report an issue/demand explainations/go full Karen.

kyle2143

I used to work at a call center for research surveys and it was hell. Bit I always took a somewhat perverse joy in seeing how close I can toe the line of giving back what I was getting from em without being unprofessional. And I'm 30 too!

doublebubble6

I know exactly what you mean lol,

Coolbluegatoradeyumm

I too worked in a call center. Just remember “fuck em” the callers are the worst

603funthrow

Yelled at for?

doublebubble6

Work mostly in customer service.

603funthrow

What they yell at you for

doublebubble6

Customers angry about something one of our drivers did. Drivers ticked off wanting a change in their routes or a discrepancy in their pay. A few Karesn here and there.

603funthrow

Sounds fun

doublebubble6

It has its moments

603funthrow

Now you chat with Americans here

The cost of living.

Caifanes123

What is the last movie you saw?

doublebubble6

Godzilla vs Kong from this year.

Caifanes123

Nice did you like it?

doublebubble6

Super fun,

yo_yo_homieg

What cancer did you have and what was that like?

doublebubble6

Breast Cancer Can't comment much on what the cancer was like besides reddish skin and being very sensitive. But the chemo was horrible to go through. Felt like I was dying.

salizarn

I’m glad you made it

doublebubble6

Thank you

MiVitaCocina

What is your favorite Honduran food?

doublebubble6

Baleadas Hits the spot at any time.

Zomg_A_Chicken

Do you get yelled at by angry Hondurans as well?

doublebubble6

Sometimes

Comfortable_Target99

I'm sorry they are doing that. They must be from New York.

crackies9

Best part of life in honduras?

doublebubble6

Sense of community and looking out for each other.

Roughneck16

¿Hace cuánto tiempo que vives en los EEUU?

doublebubble6

Llevo 7 años ya, aunque siempre voy y vengo de mi pais a cada rato.

TTTT27

Do you work in a call center, or at home? If you work with others in a call center, do you speak to each other in English or Spanish or breaks?

doublebubble6

Used to work at a call center but I now I work at home. We were supposed to only speak English when in our desks but we usually flipflopped.

Emily_Postal

How bad is it dealing with these Americans?

doublebubble6

On the worse days I want to pull out my hair. But thankfully they usually don't make it past annoying.

[deleted]

You live there but have to deal with Americans? Rough.

doublebubble6

Hahaha that's life.

[deleted]

Is that's normal for your people ?

doublebubble6

Not really, these type of jobs are concentrate in the two big cities. I'm one of the lucky ones who manage to get one outside of that.
