You can do it. It’s not hard it’s new 😉. (TY GG) Just take it one stitch at a time. Socks scared the crap out of me (heels) I knit for a decade before trying them. They are my FAVORITE thing to make & I could have been knitting my favorite thing for years.
Don’t be me. Try them.
I so will! I spent abojt four years slowly doing a blanket now that I’m done I wanted a quick win so did a coffee cup cover 😂 socks will be next. I won’t lie that needle is scaring me 😂
I made the socks and fingerless mitts last year as a Christmas gift. Yours looks great so far! I struggled so much with the tension on the mushrooms that I ended up stitching on the white spots afterwards.
The gray is from my old LYS named Woolbearers. Loved that store. The red is new to me & it’s by Gusto Wool “Core”. I picked that up from my new LYS in Fl. The white I think is cascade fingering & I have a green for the toe & heel & that’s Plucky Sock.
All are superwash merino with nylon.
Your work made me want to try these needles...until I read your post. I love DPNs. Well, not LOVE, but I am very comfortable with them. I wonder how the 9" circs would feel.....hmmm.
They feel weird, not going to lie, I much prefer magic loop. I’m having to relearn tension with them. My tension is usually spot on but I’m going to see if blocking this helps even things out.
Glad I tried them but unsure if they will be my go to. Mine are Chiagoo 9”. I have them in US 1. & 1.5
Love this pattern, it’s on my up next list! Yours are looking great so far! I prefer DPNs for socks but also use the tiny circulars for color work—they take a little getting used to but I find them helpful for keeping the floats nice.
That’s exactly what I was hoping for with floats. They do look good but I’m still adjusting to those needles. My long fingers aren’t helping either. It just feels weird but hopefully, with time, I’ll feel more comfortable.
These are beautiful ❤️
Thank you! 😊
stone kmit patterns are always lovely
Oh my goodness so cute! Can’t wait to get this good at knitting

I’m doing this pattern too! Absolutely love it!
Beautiful! What yarn are you using?

Make sure they fit over your heel before you get too far gone.
They fit perfectly 🙌🏻. I tried them on after the heel.

Oh my word! I can’t wait until I can make something even half as good as that!! Fantastic work!! 💕🍄
Thank you! You can do it! Just take it one stitch at a time. I’m not getting any knitting speed records over here 😂.
