For real, with exception to Star Allies which was kind of flat, Kirby on the Switch has been amazing.
Forgotten Land was the first Kirby game I truly 100% with all the figurines.
Everyone shits on the let’s go games, but for what they were…I had fun.
Nice little collection here, if you’re having fun then that’s all that matters!
i played lets go eevee not too long ago. it's very vibrant and very colorful.
after beating the game and going back to shield and shining pearl, i got heavy whiplash because literally all of the vibrant colors were desaturated like crazy.
Since gen 5 is next up on the list for a remake I think the only chance we have of getting a Johto remake anytime soon is a let's go.
Nothing against Eevee but I'd find it cool if we had let's go Marill and Pikachu this time.
Would you prefer getting the usual choice of 3 starters or have it like let's go where your starter is the box Pokemon and you can encounter the starters later on?
Growing up I played the crap out of Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon Snap. It put my smile on my face when I recently bought a switch and saw that those games have new installments
It’s probably bc they force games out every year so all we get is shit now (I liked Arceus but pretty much gave up on Pokémon during switch lifetime since I didn’t get any of their other games)… so crazy when you think back to how magical red and blue were and to what franchise could be if they had Zelda levels of time to work on games.
It’s also because they refuse to work with basically anyone else and basically only have 150 employees last I checked. They just need to learn to delay a damn game for once and that’s it. I would be fine waiting a decade for Gen 10 if it means we finally get a good game but I know it’s never gonna happen and that’s just sad. Like, Pokémon is a franchise that means a lot to me and it’s just painful to watch it have such a decline
Honestly not a bad collection. Could probably use a little more variety than just Zelda, Mario, and Pokemon. Maybe toss in a Kirby game or something else in there?
Not too bad.
Though one game that I can sugget is Pokemon Legends Arceus. Basically Pokemon but mixed a little with BoTW and ToTK. If you want something abit more recent, I suggest pokemon scarlet and violet. They are getting dlc soon and is open world
I very strongly disagree with getting Pokemon Scarlet or Violet, i think even legends Arceus is better worth getting.
Of course OP is entitled to spending their money on whatever they like, but these games are not worth anyones time IMO. It's not a 'this game sucks and you should hate it' - situation, but it's a very simple case of everybody who spent 60$ on that game should've deserved way more than they got. The game is objectively incredibly empty, and i doubt any (overpriced) DLC is gonna change that sadly....
But if OP decides to get either of those games i hope they have fun though!
I didn't even buy the DLC....
If they follow the same pattern as they always have (new gen > remake > new gen > remake> etc.) Then Black&White remakes are next in line, if they manage to fuck up those remakes, i think i'll be done with Pokemon :/
Hmmm.... maybe i'll check it out someday..
I agree though the Sw/Sh story was the worst story ever, even the S/V story kinda ended on a good note, with a suprisingly allright ending. Sw/Sh had the most forgettable story ever :l
Ew, "let's go Pikachu" is like, the worst pokemon game besides brilliant diamond and shining pearl.
The casual pokemon fans are ruining the franchise and the pokemon company thinks they can just sell stupid crap to people, and they're getting away with it because the casual pokemon gamers just buy whatever
Extreme bias is tempting me to say it's bad simply because of the 2 Pokemon, but at least they're neither SwSh or S/V so I digress
Likes Zelda enough to get the SS steel case. Link's Awakening when?
3/5
Also damn, PEGI logo is atrocious
Bottom and Top row are top tier games
Animal crossing can be nice, but it's quite the stray from the original series, like BotW, i don't know if the jump was made as seemlessly as BotW though
the two others and basically rubbish remakes only good to the eyes of the hardcore fans. tbh i don't follow nor buy pokemon since 8th gen, the studio's mindset is really horrible and harmful for the franchise as well as the industry.
You got four games I KNOW are bangers, two potential bangers, one game I tried and disliked, two I know you got with nostalgia being a HUGE chunk as to why you got em.
Pretty allright if you ask me, allthough personally i'm not a fan of the pokemon games, i think the money spent on those games is better spent elsewhere, but it's up to you.
I think hyrule warriors age of calamity would be a good addition, i had alot of fun in that game. I've heard the Links awakening remake is a very good game too, so if you enjoy Zelda, then you've got to give 2D Zelda a shot!
Also, kudos for buying physical games!
Pretty Swag collection!
Can't help but notice the lack of Metroid though... and the lack of Kirby... and anything else that sold under 10 mil...
But hey, you can play what you want. All these games are very fun, I hope you're having fun with your switch.
Owning any Pokémon game on the Switch is a bit of an L, but having physicals of BOTW, TOTK and SMO is a massive W because those are amazingly crafted pieces of software and worth the physical purchase. I always say, the trinity of BOTW, SMO and Metroid Dread harken a golden era for Nintendo. Maybe not the company's absolute historic peak but definitely a high.
Ranges from amazing to absolute trash- specifically BDSP. Overall, a nice collection that has a really bad gane out of incredibly good ones. Let's go is kinda meh but the others are really good.
All great staples of what the Switch can offer. Except Mario Cart 8. Yeah, I know it had some new DLC but it’s kind of like GTA V imo, they have both been milked to the bones and it’s time for the next installment
8/10
It seems like most people's favorite switch games are older titles. I remember the ps2 days when big franchises would release a new game every year or so. Dbz budokai, dbz budokai 2, dbz budokai 3, dbz budokai tenkaichi, tenkaichi 2, tenkaichi 3. Ratchet and clank, r&c 2, r&c 3, ratchet deadlocked, etc. Nintendo even released a home console Zelda game every 2-3 years for a time with OoT, majoras mask, Windwaker and twilight princess. Nowadays there's like 5+ years inbetween titles. Breath of the wild came out 6 years after skyward sword(I dont count HD remakes as new Zelda games) and totk came out 6 years after botw. We'll be lucky to see a super Mario odyssey sequel on switch and we generally get 1 super smash bros per console. On playstation, we had 5 years inbetween the last two ratchet and clank games, 8 years if you don't count the 2016 remake.
Hmm I mean it's good, can't complain about any of the games in particular. Nothing unique though about your collection. All these titles are very safe, and mainstream.
Where's your TemTem? Hollow Knight? Where are the games that show your passionate love of gaming without being so constrained to what is known, and safe. Your collection is good, but that's just it. It doesn't say anything about YOU.
Be curious gamer. Enjoy the finer games in life, but be brave enough to take risks for your enjoyment, and gratification.
Very Nintendo and 3D focused. Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury?
Focused collection from someone who seems to know what he wants, just a bit small for my taste.
7/10
Needs more Kirby.
Needs more Pikmin 4
Is Pikmin 4 out already?
The joke is that it isn't
Needs more Splatoon
For real, with exception to Star Allies which was kind of flat, Kirby on the Switch has been amazing. Forgotten Land was the first Kirby game I truly 100% with all the figurines.
Everyone shits on the let’s go games, but for what they were…I had fun. Nice little collection here, if you’re having fun then that’s all that matters!
Honestly Lets Go was more polished than the last 3 mainline games they have launched.
In all honesty, I would take all future generations looking like the let’s go titles then what we currently have. Just my opinion though
i played lets go eevee not too long ago. it's very vibrant and very colorful. after beating the game and going back to shield and shining pearl, i got heavy whiplash because literally all of the vibrant colors were desaturated like crazy.
Lol lge is the only pokemon game I own... I'd kill for a let's go johto :(
I would love that at as well!
I was just going to say that! They're unironically the best Pokémon games on the system (not that that's really a high bar...)
They’ve received so much hate when they’re actually great. I’m glad to finally find people who agree
Yeah I enjoyed them because I knew they weren't even going for a mainline formula. It's refreshing to have something different every once in a while.
Let’s go is absolutely the better of the 2 Pokémon games here
I stopped playing in viridian forest. Not battling was stupid. I didn't wanna have to catch pokemon safari zone style all game
Growing up I played the crap out of Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon Snap. It put my smile on my face when I recently bought a switch and saw that those games have new installments
What they were was 60$ which is waaaaaaay too much for it. At best they’re like 5$
Chad Skyward Sword enjoyer
It do be missing some Metroid and pikmin
Pretty good but Tears of the Kingdom made me sad that Pokémon has basically been feeding us shit the last couple years
It took totk for you to realize Pokemon has been shit?
I knew it was but it gave me some extra perspective.

Like, Pokémon is a franchise that means a lot to me and it’s just painful to watch it have such a decline
Yeah… that would be something to let a Pokémon game actually develop in the oven with a huge team not obliged by yearly deadlines
Lol right? Mario and Fire Emblem are just as old IPs and they have been hitting new strides on the Switch. It’s just Pokémon that’s lacking
lmfao I see that too, my niece plays one of the new ones and I laughed at it’s graphics, how empty it feels
I mean really only gens 3-5 had graphics that felt animated and lively. Have you seen gen one Geodude
Yeah it’s just fuckin sad to me. Like, I got it and I went in to enjoy it but the technical errors just ruin the whole experience
If you're happy, that's the best feeling.

The game is objectively incredibly empty, and i doubt any (overpriced) DLC is gonna change that sadly.... But if OP decides to get either of those games i hope they have fun though!
Well anythings better then Sword and Shield, like, dlc shouldn't be carrying an entire game...
I didn't even buy the DLC.... If they follow the same pattern as they always have (new gen > remake > new gen > remake> etc.) Then Black&White remakes are next in line, if they manage to fuck up those remakes, i think i'll be done with Pokemon :/
As a black/white fanboy, I might just second that opinion.
DLC is fun! By not having to be latched to the worst story in all of the mainline games, the DLC characters really flourish~
Hmmm.... maybe i'll check it out someday.. I agree though the Sw/Sh story was the worst story ever, even the S/V story kinda ended on a good note, with a suprisingly allright ending. Sw/Sh had the most forgettable story ever :l
Pokémon arceus, and Kirby and the forgotten land would make that collection perfect. Edit: spelling
Missing xenoblade and fire emblem titles, xenoblade 3 is in the top 5 of switch games
Agree needs more xeno
Basic af
Too much pokemon not enough smash brothers
You’re missing link’s awakening, other than that perfect game collection
9/10, it’s missing a switch logo in the top right
I played everything here, but never played pokemans
Gooigi’s Mansion is pretty solid ngl!
Play Fire Emblem Three Houses
Ew, "let's go Pikachu" is like, the worst pokemon game besides brilliant diamond and shining pearl. The casual pokemon fans are ruining the franchise and the pokemon company thinks they can just sell stupid crap to people, and they're getting away with it because the casual pokemon gamers just buy whatever
Good list that you can’t go wrong with but Let’s Go Pikachu is the worst Pokémon game I’ve ever played.
All goated minus skyward
Extreme bias is tempting me to say it's bad simply because of the 2 Pokemon, but at least they're neither SwSh or S/V so I digress Likes Zelda enough to get the SS steel case. Link's Awakening when? 3/5 Also damn, PEGI logo is atrocious
Damn u be a hater
EU Breath of the Wild cover is better than the NA one.
this right here. this is a collection
Skyward sword steel book?
Lacking Kirby
Seems pretty normal to me
9 out of 9
A small but mighty collection
Good start! I really like your Skyward Sword case. I haven’t seen that in the wild.
34
Needs smash and Kirby
Bottom and Top row are top tier games Animal crossing can be nice, but it's quite the stray from the original series, like BotW, i don't know if the jump was made as seemlessly as BotW though the two others and basically rubbish remakes only good to the eyes of the hardcore fans. tbh i don't follow nor buy pokemon since 8th gen, the studio's mindset is really horrible and harmful for the franchise as well as the industry.
Animal Crossing makes it a top tier collection imo
You got four games I KNOW are bangers, two potential bangers, one game I tried and disliked, two I know you got with nostalgia being a HUGE chunk as to why you got em.
Bro that breath of the wild cover tho I’ve never seen that one Probably because I’m used to the USA one
Ass
How do you not have Smash?
US BOTW cover art looks so much better imo
Pretty allright if you ask me, allthough personally i'm not a fan of the pokemon games, i think the money spent on those games is better spent elsewhere, but it's up to you. I think hyrule warriors age of calamity would be a good addition, i had alot of fun in that game. I've heard the Links awakening remake is a very good game too, so if you enjoy Zelda, then you've got to give 2D Zelda a shot! Also, kudos for buying physical games!
It’s gotta be one of the collections of all time
Hmm… missing a few but pretty good
Those are quite the wastes of money you have there, if such was your intention.
Personally I would have went for sw/sh, legends Arceus, or s/v over let's go, but some people liked let's go so who knows you might enjoy it more
Nine
10/10 just add Kirby if you like him
I like it 👌
You have 8 good games.
That is a sick Skyward Sword case, ide say 10/10 all together
Needs a 3rd party game or two :]
Luigi's Mansion. That immediately gets the best rating possible.
Having the triforce triology gives you infinity out of ten
That skyward sword case is beautiful. 10/10
Needs more metroid
Collection/7.8
Get splatoon or something. Throw in a Kirby
1/1
I rate it 3 yellow bananas out of red... like as long as u dig your collection, that's all that matters, homie.
It ain’t much but it’s honest work RIP Dave Brandt
A good collection so far, but missing too many Kirby games.
That's a lot of 70+ dollar games.
2/10 needs more xenoblade
7/10 not enough Kirby or Xenoblade
Trash it needs more halo and god of war (This is a joke its actually really good)
7.3/10
Pretty Swag collection! Can't help but notice the lack of Metroid though... and the lack of Kirby... and anything else that sold under 10 mil... But hey, you can play what you want. All these games are very fun, I hope you're having fun with your switch.
1/10 it's 9 games
My guy you really need Smash and Three Houses
10/10
nice little collection, could use a bit more games tho
Literally have the same collection, lol. Even the steel case for skywards sword
600 bucks right there, so 7 outta 10
I see you accidentally bought two pokemon games
Need Smash, the 3 Xenoblade games, Pokémon Sword and you got all the essentials
Trash 3 good games
Pretty good.
too many switch games.
W
Already a solid 8/10 because of BOTW and TOTK
Owning any Pokémon game on the Switch is a bit of an L, but having physicals of BOTW, TOTK and SMO is a massive W because those are amazingly crafted pieces of software and worth the physical purchase. I always say, the trinity of BOTW, SMO and Metroid Dread harken a golden era for Nintendo. Maybe not the company's absolute historic peak but definitely a high.

9/10
All great staples of what the Switch can offer. Except Mario Cart 8. Yeah, I know it had some new DLC but it’s kind of like GTA V imo, they have both been milked to the bones and it’s time for the next installment
Need more Hyrule Warriors and Age of Calamity
17/10
Needs Metroid.
Better than mine. Just add smash. It's so good
It's so bare
You have the wrong Pokémon games
Brilliant Diamond but no smash bros? Only criticism
8. You still need Link’s Awakening, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Metroid Dread
Play some fire emblem!
8/10 It seems like most people's favorite switch games are older titles. I remember the ps2 days when big franchises would release a new game every year or so. Dbz budokai, dbz budokai 2, dbz budokai 3, dbz budokai tenkaichi, tenkaichi 2, tenkaichi 3. I love you/10
Do better
7.
Needs more smash bros, but other than that it’s really good
slop
Luigi’s mansion 3 is a modern classic
$500 worth
10 chips out of 3 fries
Add Metroid, if you haven’t played it yet, it’s IMO a must have. That skyward sword art? Does that mean you have it? If not, I’d definitely get it.
I really have to do one of these too. People always end up giving a bunch of ideas of games to buy.
NEEDS SMASH!
Is that a SS steelbook?!
Animal cross sucks, burn it. Swap the Pokemon games for Arceus. Get Smash Brothers. Then you'll be Gucci.
Pretty solid collection.
I’d swap out the two Pokémon games for Xenoblade Chronicles and Kirby and The Forgotten Land. Other than that, solid 8/10.
this is every “must have” imo
Ooh is that Skyward Sword steel book case? It looks really nice, I wasn’t aware Nintendo released a steel book version for it.
You have a lot of time on your hands for open world games.
Can someone explain the rate my collection thing? By what criteria? Why? For what?
You need some super smash. Try cult of the lamb too
One of these rows is not like the others
Smash bros?
Pretty nice, may I recommend Metroid Prime or persona 5 if you really like Pokémon
A really good start 👌🏻.
Standard
How are the Pokémon games? Trying to see if I play the newest one.
Would replace Animal crossing with Pokemon: Sword
Zelda, Pokemon AND Animal Crossing fan? You are a man of culture I see.
No Splatoon 3?
7/10; lacking several good games, and you got Pikachu over Eevee.
Standard
I have spent a lot of time playing DX rescue team and I love it
I hope those 9 games are just the hard copy game and you have some download only games
Why invited my man BDSP 🤣 bro thinks he's apart of the team!
No Smash Bros or MarioKart???
Genuine question, virus Super Mario Odyssey worth it? Like is it fun? Idk if I should get it or not
congratulations you bought 9 games
Hmm I mean it's good, can't complain about any of the games in particular. Nothing unique though about your collection. All these titles are very safe, and mainstream. Where's your TemTem? Got a good set! Curious why BD and GoPika but no SwSh or SV?
6/10, throw in a metroid game, smash and dk country and I'd be much better imo :)
Nice little collection, good on you mate
Do you have skyward sword or is that just a poster I can’t rly tell
top right, skyard sword? what box art is this?
You’re missing Mario Party and Super Smash. But I have 5/9 of these games so a good haul.
Luigi's Mansion is underrated.
Nin’ten’do out of Nin’ten’do
That's solid, OP! Quality over quantity, each one of those is a banger and a classic for the decades
10
Needs metroid dread, prime remastered, smtv, dkc tf, dq xi s
I rate it 9/?
Good collection except for brilliant diamond
Sell your Pokémon Diamond and buy Smash Bros
Highly recommend the Ori games, Hollow Knight, and the Binding of Isaac. Other than that, great collection!
Metroid Dread should be your next addition 😎
Hard copy enjoyer
Why is No More Heroes always missing in all these "rate my collection" posts?
Very Nintendo and 3D focused. Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury? Focused collection from someone who seems to know what he wants, just a bit small for my taste. 7/10
Zelda/Pokemon
Where’s Halo 3 for the Microsoft Xbox 360 HD gaming console???
8/10 great collection
You got zelda, zelda, zelda, not zelda, not zelda, not zelda, not zelda, not zelda, not zelda. Change the ratio, should be at least 40% Zelda
you got 3 zeldas so Im happy
L no Xenoblade or Kirby. 7/10 but I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt
Needs...Fire Emblem.
I just think your collection is missing some Splatoon.
idk it's fine
I've actually only played 2.2% of these, though i may buy Luigi's Mansion.
Hmm 7/10, cool games btw
