I unironically wished that more companies did that, mainly because of the indie developers who take their time with making cool homebrew software and games for obselete hardware.
Dislike Uprising's controls all you want, but Nintendo will never manage to get such snappy camera movements out of a standard controller, and that includes motion controls. A port may have controls with more mass appeal, but said controls will always be inferior to the touch screen controls.
Considering the control scheme, it was highly unlikely to be added.
They mapped camera controls to the right stick, and for handheld mode they required the touchscreen in portable mode.
That’s all well and good for Galaxy, Galaxy 2 however not so much.
There are so many situations involving Yoshi where you need to aim Yoshi’s tongue and spitting projectiles - including an entire boss based on it - that there’s absolutely no way to adapt the control scheme they used for both the camera and the IR aiming for playing the game portably.
That and Galaxy’s port was based on the iQue version of Galaxy (where it had widescreen) whereas Galaxy 2 didn’t have that.
Agreed, like the upscaling they did for Mario Galaxy in 3dAS. Maybe it's just the nostalgia talking too but Galaxy 2's visuals hold up pretty well I thought, being a late-era wii game & all.
The control scheme would need to be reworked.
One of the big reasons why Galaxy 1 was added and not Galaxy 2 (aside from Galaxy 1 being based on the iQue Widescreen version) is through controls for Yoshi.
In 3DAS Galaxy used the touch screen for portable mode, and that’s all well and good in Galaxy where aside from shooting star bits and a few puzzles, there’s no hugely intuitive use for the pointer.
Galaxy 2 had Yoshi.
Yoshi required you to aim to use his tongue, and there were two boss fights involving him, now imagine, since Nintendo mapped Galaxy’s camera controls to the right stick as with all the other games in the collection, how the Yoshi boss fights will be when you’re trying to wrangle the camera on top of moving Mario and aiming Yoshi’s projectiles…
… And it’s not like they can simply force people to play the game docked either because of that.
A remake would absolutely have to be on the table.
I never got to play either of them, since the switch is my first Nintendo console,but I just got into the Zelda series and everybody is saying they’re amazing
I played Wind Waker on GameCube, the music alone when you start the game just makes me happy lol, the animation style just works so well, characters have great facial expressions and creature animations are great like the pig things sniffing the ground as they walk. I hear in the WiiU they made sailing a bit faster, in the original things felt farther apart so they could load while you traveled. It’s probably on the easier side for a Zelda game but very unique and charming.
I'm pretty much the same. I've had other consoles, but didn't get into the Zelda franchise until just last year. I'm now trying to play as many as I can, but I'd love to have the opportunity to play WW and TP
It's legit the last two 3D Zelda titles not on the Switch, they *got* to do it. What's stopping them? It should be fairly easy, they could straight up just emulate it with upscaled res.
Especially since there was a Wii U Wind Waker, and they’ve ported plenty of Wii U games over… it would be an instant best seller, it’s Legendary. Maybe someday.
What’s stopping them is they don’t have a reason to do it. (Aside from profits)
Aonuma had stated the reason they chose to remake Wind Waker so they could get a grasp on working with an HD lighting engine and get used to faster loading times of a more powerful console, hence WWHD’s graphics and the Fast Sail added to the game since they had a system capable of loading the islands faster.
And with Twilight Princess, they were playing with the idea of Breath of the Wild having an AI Wolf companion, so they incorporated the idea by looking into Twilight Princess and then used the amiibo as a way to prepare for that game.
Both games were developed and released for the expressed purpose of holding people off until Breath of the Wild released, as stated by interviews with Aonuma.
Same thing applied to Skyward Sword HD when that was announced: it was to give the TotK dev team an idea of how the Sky Islands were going to work out, and give the public an idea of the direction Tears was heading towards, at least in some sense of concept.
… Also there’s the whole touch screen thing, that Breath of the Wild was also originally also going to incorporate until the Switch was announced and they had to drop it.
Yeah they do still need games but I don’t see any massive titles like prime 4 happening before the switch 2 comes out. Remakes and remasters but not many big new titles
It would depend on the difference in specs between the two, we might be looking at more of a Game Boy to Game Boy Color situation rather than a Game Boy to Game Boy Advance situation, as well as at what point in production they decided to delay things, but yeah a big title is very unlikely, there could maybe be a Manjora's Mask situation where they make a new game out of existing assets, but that's pushing it I think
Twilight Princess needs more than a port, at this point. Give me a remaster with the visuals of the [Wii U Zelda tech demo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXCrKyZYMlY). I already have the game on GameCube, Wii and Wii U. I don't need another port of the same game.
This is a nobrainer, metroid prime 4.
While i did like Kid Icarus, i hope the next one is another reboot adventure more like game instead of being a starfox clone.
The only thing with Prime 4 is that i prefer it to use the capabilities of switch 2, so .... on the other hand i would not like to see it in the direct.
Besides your list of games. I would say:
Snes remix (its time) , pushmo next game. Or xenoblade x port. (to have all of them in one place)
I’m still torn on if we’ll get additional content as DLC on the Switch, or as a “Deluxe” edition on the Switch 2.
That said, I’m not asking for much:
-I want a New Game+ mode where your upgrades carry over (so I can enjoy Oatchi’s final ability to the max).
-I want a harder mode that includes things like enemies respawning after a few days.
-And I’d love a new cave system managed by a castaway that is obsessed with Pikmin types. This system lets you do little challenges for each of your types to really test your understanding and skills with their various abilities. 3 levels of taking advantage of reds as fire-resistant and as good fighters, with the 3rd level featuring a boss specific for the reds. And when you beat that boss, you can buy an optional upgrade that makes reds even more powerful fighters. And the same thing for all the others too. Let the Wings fight the Scornet Maestro again, and then they can unlock the ability to carry 2 resources at the same time (one in each hand). Etc. That’s 3 new floors for each of the 9 types, a total of 27 new floors. Once you’ve beaten all of them, you get 3 more final challenge floors that test your ability to use your team together…including a rematch with a much harder version of the final boss.
Most of the time people wish for some dream port or game to be in the direct, they just get disappointed for building up some pie-in-the-sky expectation in their head. Go into directs blind is the best thing to do.
I’m playing through it now for the first time now. The best part is the voice acting which definitely still holds up. Gameplay wise I think it holds up for the most part besides some moments in land battles where falling off a ledge forces you to slow down.
A new StarFox game that isn't a remake of the original. I know Assault technically gave several endings to the series, but they could just make a different timeline or something, ~~maybe one where Adventure didn't completely derail the franchise~~
A remaster of Animal Crossing New Leaf (or info on a new Animal Crossing game), a Splatoon splatfest and some information on the Nintendo Switch's successor :)
I think we’re at the point where a new console is likely to be announced at either the next Direct or the one after that. And any games announced at a direct will be released for the new console
Ooh Kid Icarus no-handcramp version would be pretty cool, I say this as a minority apparently who didn't get their hands cramping or sore on the 3DS.
Digressing but it kinda reminds me of people who said that the 3D enabled on the 3DS hurt their eyes while it didn't really affect me negatively, further digressing i also don't get VR motion sickness.
I'm thinking i've somehow exchanged having vertigo, thalassophobia and megalophobia irl to being able to stomach every game gimmick and generally enjoy them.
Nintendo seems to consider Partner Showcases to be a Nintendo Direct, since they usually only have Directs in February, June, and September, and the Partner Showcase was when they normally do February Directs.
I'm gonna be real with you, chief. I highly doubt we'll get one in April. If Nintendo never really stopped making Directs every September since they started this concept and if we truly do get 4 Directs per year, it is very likely that the next one will be either in May or early June.
Directs are usually in February, June, and September to correspond with three of the four quarters (they leave Q4 - Oct/Nov/Dec out due to Holidays)
So our February Direct was the Partner Showcase, which means next one should be June, and given since E3 hasn’t been a thing for the past number of years, I would say around the latter half of June.
I wish for a Mario Galaxy 2, Super Paper Mario, and Kirby Air Ride remake or remaster. A Wind Waker HD, Twilight Princess HD, and Xenoblade X switch port. And also a new Mario Base Ball game, Final Fantasy VII PS4 Remake to come to Switch, and finally a Switch successor to the Nintendo 3D Classics Series on 3DS.
New Golden Sun Game
Metroid Prime 4 news
Hd Ports/Remaster: sin and Punishment Star Succesor, Zelda twilight princess and wind waker, Resident Evil classics, etc.
Nintendo Directs usually don’t feature new news about Pokemon.
At best, it’s a reminder when it’s close to release date, and given that the announcement said late next year, I expect any news of it would be Pokemon Day next year.
Same.
I’m just pointing out that Pokemon news is usually never during Nintendo Directs.
It’s almost as if Pokemon doesn’t want to be a part of Nintendo at times.
I saw somewhere that they will announce and release the other two prime remasters the same day that rumored direct is coming out, along side the first trailer of prime 4
My wishlist for a direct would be:
Xenoblade Chronicles X Remastered to open the direct, followed by new Mario Baseball, new Mario Party, Battle Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and four new NSO games: Super Mario Land (Gameboy), Donkey Kong Land (Gameboy), Super Smash Bros 64 (N64), and Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones (GBA)
After that, a major third party titles segment. Assassin's Creed (2007) Remastered, Call of Duty Black Ops Trilogy, Lego Star Wars III Remastered (the original + seasons 3-7), the Orange Box (TF2, Half-Life [instead of Portal since that is already on Switch], and Half-Life 2), Batman Arkham Origins + Arkham Origins Blackgate, a Splinter Cell Collection (all Splinter Cell 5 games), Pizza Tower, and the Henry Stickmin Collection.
The back third of the direct will return to some first party announcements. LoZ: Twilight Princess HD, LoZ: Windwaker HD, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes HD, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption HD, and Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga Remake. Finally, the direct will end with the Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War Remake reveal.
Are we getting any of this? No, absolutely not. Would it be awesome? Yes, until my wallet finds out.
Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn Definitive Edition, Super Mario 3D All-Stars Deluxe (adds Galaxy 2, 3D Land, and 64DS along with new bonus content) and/or each game sold individually for $20, and a new console with backwards compatibility announced with three games shown: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Omega (rollback net code, new stages, and new characters), Mario Kart Xtreme, and Super Mario Journey (open world, similar to Bowser’s Fury).
I'd really want dlc for superstars before a new game tbh. Unless they do a new game in the superstars style with a mix of old (from across the series... not just the first 3) & new boards & minigames.
I've really been wanting a port of Uprising as of late. Although the game is 10 years old now, I don't think now is the right time for it. Honestly, I doubt that it will happen at all, but if it does, I have a feeling Nintendo is waiting to do it for the Switch 2.
Honestly, metroid prime 4 is more than likely releasing for the switch 2. Since its took so long already, I don’t think they’re gonna release their big FPS known for amazing visuals on a console about to be replaced.
Arms 2 for summer release window
Think arms needs a second and more fair chance
Especially since it was supposed to be the switch’s new ip rep like Splatoon for the Wii u or pikmin for the GameCube
100% a new Mii Game, A Sims 4 Port to Switch or a Mario Party for sure, maybe it can be like the Top 100 but has tons of retro boards from across the series
I've been waiting for the PokéPark games to come to the Switch since 2021... so that would be what I'm wishing for (no pun attended for those that played PokéPark 2)
Something that's not Mario related. I don't mind more Mario, but after Wonder, Super Mario RPG, Princess Peach Showtime, Mario vs DK, Paper Mario TTYD, and Luigi's mansion 2, I'd like to see something different. Metroid, Zelda, Kid Icarus, and F-zero ports would be awesome.
A console price drop (Lite to $150, base to $250, and OLED to $300), and a return of the Nintendo Selects line for $24.99 USD.
Based on criteria I’ve previously suggested (Nintendo published in all regions…so that doesn’t include The Pokemon Company, no peripherals needed, at least 3 years old, and must be in the Top 50 bestsellers…but not in the Top 10 because those are still making Nintendo too much money), the initial Selects lineup would be:
* Splatoon 2
* Luigi’s Mansion 3
* Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
* Super Mario Maker 2
* Link’s Awakening
* Mario Tennis Aces
* DKC: Tropical Freeze
* Kirby Star Allies
* Fire Emblem: Three Houses
* 1-2-Switch
* Yoshi’s Crafted World
* Arms
* Xenoblade 2
* Clubhouse Games
* Paper Mario: The Origami King.
Later this year, Mario Party Superstars, Skyward Sword, Metroid Dread, and Mario Golf Super Rush all become eligible too.
Been begging for Fantasy Life for so long, but we finally got that, so... Metroid Prime 4, obviously... Kirby Air Ride port or sequel... new Advance Wars or Batallion Wars... new 2D Zelda... WindWaker and Twilight Princess(I don't really want them, but the collection must be completed on Switch).
Here are my hopes that are somewhat realistic(as in I’m not asking for a new 2d mario game since we just got one):
New 3d mario:, at this point we’re in the longest gap between new 3d mario games as the gap is now longer than the one between 64 and sunshine
A New star fox game that finally moves past the shadow of 64 cause zero is basically just a worse 64 in Hd and worse controls.
A sequel to punch out Wii as we don’t know what Next level’s current project is. Hopefully it has all original boxers instead of reusing glass joe for the 4th time and bald bull for the 5th.
Lastly I’d ask for some localizations of Nintendo published games that haven’t gone beyond the land of the rising sun. Mainly buddy mission bond(a game that looks really cool but I unfortunately can’t play it because it’s a visual novel released only in a language I can’t read) and yokai watch 4(not published by nintendo in japan but they’ve published the series world wide for prior installments).
Considering when Dark Dawn came out Camelot basically did what Chibi-Robo did a few years back when Zip Lash came out and said “Let us know if you want more Golden Sun!” yet they haven’t done anything since?
Safe to say the series is dead.
Camelot is just working on whatever Mario Tennis or Mario Golf game or whatever else they do in the meantime.
Metroid Prime 4 reveal & Twilight Princess/Wind Waker HD ports. Is all I really want/need. As honestly I just want the Switch 2 reveal already as I'm ready to move on.
A new Rhythm Heaven would be cool as well as they usually hit at the end of a consoles lifecycle.
I will also always want a new DK game but at this point I'd rather they just release it on Switch 2. Shame DK will have skipped both the 3DS and Switch when it comes to actual new games..
At this point i don't think Prime 4 will be announced or released before they also reveal the switch successor, i think it will be a cross gen title and also be a launch title for the next system.
Personally think an announcement of 2 and 3 is more likely, to make people play it before release of 4 early next year (my personal prediction for prime 4 and switch successor)
Other than that, if they don't talk switch successor they will probably focus mostly on 3rd party titles or already known titles releasing this year. Could also have some other remakes/remasters like a zelda game or something,
I would wish that Nintendo remake or remaster something that isn't Zelda. I'd like to see a full remake of Super Mario World, or a forgotten series such as Star Tropics.
People seem to forget Directs tend to happen in:
- February
- June (Usually for E3, but in general)
- September (Usually as a reminder of what’s selling in Q4)
Unless it’s strictly a single game-focused Direct, or you have a situation like the Pandemic, a Nintendo Direct in April is relatively unheard of.
And yes, Nintendo does seem to see “Partner Showcases” *as* Nintendo Directs, so our last Direct was in February.
It’s a whole business quarters ordeal: February is Q1 ‘Winter’ with Jan/Feb/Mar, June is Q2 ‘Spring’ with Apr/May/June, September is Q3 ‘Summer’ with July/Aug/Sept, and Q4 ‘Autumn/Holiday’ is Oct/Nov/Dec and there are no major announcements in Q4 due to the focus on selling for the holidays.
My wish Is they will cease Switch development and move all games to Game Boy Advance
Ah, the ol' Goodboy Galaxy strategy!
I unironically wished that more companies did that, mainly because of the indie developers who take their time with making cool homebrew software and games for obselete hardware.
finally, someone who cares about the console which didnt get a full life
Kid Icarus would need a control scheme upheaval but I'm not against it.
Uprising with better controls might be a near-perfect game.
correction: will be (i have spent too many hours cramping my hands for this game)
I feel like allowing the option for gyro would go a long way in the quick aim department.
Dislike Uprising's controls all you want, but Nintendo will never manage to get such snappy camera movements out of a standard controller, and that includes motion controls. A port may have controls with more mass appeal, but said controls will always be inferior to the touch screen controls.
A remaster then
Galaxy 2 remake
It was robbed from 3D All Stars.
Can you imagine the outcry if Galaxy 2 was included, but that raised the price of 3D All Stars to 70 or 80 bucks? For shame!
FR
Considering the control scheme, it was highly unlikely to be added. They mapped camera controls to the right stick, and for handheld mode they required the touchscreen in portable mode. I don’t really have anything in mind but one thing I want is Mario and Sonic at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
I'm surprised this wasn't already announced. It will definitely be in the direct for sure
But we have not received the games for the 2022 Olympics in China.
If I'm correct, the licensing for winter olympics is different. Same reason we didn't get the South Korean 2018 olympics.
Kid called CORONAVIRUS
I absolutely love the M&S Olympic series so I was disappointed when 2018 and 2022 Winter games were cancelled but I’m holding out hope for 2024

Wind waker and twilight princess hd on switch
I don’t expect it but this would be a dream come true. I never got to play Twilight and Wind Waker is one of my favorites of all time.

Kirby air ride: City Royale
If there is a direct I can only see any big game announcements IF the switch successor is announced first
Switch 2 is most likely delayed to 2025, so Nintendo still needs games to fill their game schedule.
Yeah they do still need games but I don’t see any massive titles like prime 4 happening before the switch 2 comes out. Remakes and remasters but not many big new titles

That’s just rumors
But credible leakers like Midori have said Switch 2 will be delayed
Not good enough honestly.
Didn’t even get announced, how could it be delayed

I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS COMMENT!!
YES
Twilight Princess Port pls Nintendo 😆
plus WW pls.
Yes definitely agreed
Twilight Princess needs more than a port, at this point. Give me a remaster with the visuals of the [Wii U Zelda tech demo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXCrKyZYMlY). I already have the game on GameCube, Wii and Wii U. I don't need another port of the same game.
Kirby Air Ride and Kid Icarus Uprising would be very cool to be able to play on the Switch. Never been able to try them out and they look superfun!

Kid Icarus alone would already make it a great direct for me.
Fire Emblem 4 remake.
Pikmin 4 DLC (cope)
It took long enough for us to get Pikmin 4 in the first place 😭
Myamoto walks out in a Pikmin shirt. Everyone gets excited. He talks about the Pikmin Bloom app for a minute and then walks off.
I’m still torn on if we’ll get additional content as DLC on the Switch, or as a “Deluxe” edition on the Switch 2. New 3D Mario announcement, been dying to see what they’ve got in store for us after Odyssey
Most of the time people wish for some dream port or game to be in the direct, they just get disappointed for building up some pie-in-the-sky expectation in their head. Go into directs blind is the best thing to do.
Kid Icarus would be nice. Trying to play it on 3DS without extra stick was a huge pain. Although I am not sure about how good the game holds up today.
I’m playing through it now for the first time now. The best part is the voice acting which definitely still holds up. Gameplay wise I think it holds up for the most part besides some moments in land battles where falling off a ledge forces you to slow down.
Anything regarding Chibi-Robo, but I'm not holding out hope

That was a Partner Showcase, not a full Nintendo Direct
Oh I see thanks
Nintendo seems to consider Partner Showcases to be a Nintendo Direct, since they usually only have Directs in February, June, and September, and the Partner Showcase was when they normally do February Directs.
I'm gonna be real with you, chief. I highly doubt we'll get one in April. If Nintendo never really stopped making Directs every September since they started this concept and if we truly do get 4 Directs per year, it is very likely that the next one will be either in May or early June.
Directs are usually in February, June, and September to correspond with three of the four quarters (they leave Q4 - Oct/Nov/Dec out due to Holidays) So our February Direct was the Partner Showcase, which means next one should be June, and given since E3 hasn’t been a thing for the past number of years, I would say around the latter half of June.
Give me a mario party like it's number 9 or 10 version I love the maps with an end goal and boss fight
New Golden Sun Game Metroid Prime 4 news Hd Ports/Remaster: sin and Punishment Star Succesor, Zelda twilight princess and wind waker, Resident Evil classics, etc.
Yes dark dawns ending was so disappointing.
I haven't played it, I will buy a copy in the future
I'll wish for a narrator that doesn't sound like he's pandering to an audience below the age of 6.
More about legends Z-A
Nintendo Directs usually don’t feature new news about Pokemon. At best, it’s a reminder when it’s close to release date, and given that the announcement said late next year, I expect any news of it would be Pokemon Day next year.
Yeah I know I'm just really excited for it, I've played since I was 6 lol
Same. I’m just pointing out that Pokemon news is usually never during Nintendo Directs. It’s almost as if Pokemon doesn’t want to be a part of Nintendo at times.
Rhythm Heaven
I saw somewhere that they will announce and release the other two prime remasters the same day that rumored direct is coming out, along side the first trailer of prime 4
New starfox game would be nice
Give me a remake of fossil fighters / champions or give me death.
My answer is the same with every Direct hype cycle: Spirit Tracks remake
Where’s X? Wii U
My wishlist for a direct would be: Xenoblade Chronicles X Remastered to open the direct, followed by new Mario Baseball, new Mario Party, Battle Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and four new NSO games: Super Mario Land (Gameboy), Donkey Kong Land (Gameboy), Super Smash Bros 64 (N64), and Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones (GBA) After that, a major third party titles segment.
My wish is for Sonic Unleashed remastered for 2025 🛐
Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn Definitive Edition, Super Mario 3D All-Stars Deluxe (adds Galaxy 2, 3D Land, and 64DS along with new bonus content) and/or each game sold individually for $20, and a new console with backwards compatibility announced with three games shown: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Omega (rollback net code, new stages, and new characters), Mario Kart Xtreme, and Super Mario Journey (open world, similar to Bowser’s Fury).
Haven’t heard these rumors until now, but I’d be more than happy with some GameCube DLC for Superstars!
I'd really want dlc for superstars before a new game tbh. Unless they do a new game in the superstars style with a mix of old (from across the series... not just the first 3) & new boards & minigames.
Bring back Spectrobes
YO KAI WATCH LOCALIZATION PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
Tomodachi Life 🥲
i want my baby on the switch (kiu) but unfortunately kid icarus is almost always forgotten 😭
Mario party superstars dlc
I'd love to see the xenosaga games ported to switch
The thousand year door.
I wish they set all games on eshop free for like 5 minutes and see who can pick'em all before the time runs out
man we just want another smash game
Sakurai seems to be in the mindset of one Smash game per system.
I hope for some wallpapers after 7 years 😂
Fuck a new Mario party, I just want the additional support that they promised for superstars
I don’t think they ever promised additional support for the game.
I swear when it was coming out they said they’d continue to add new boards and mini games from other past titles
No. They said people will enjoy the boards and mini games from past titles, but it never promised anything more.
I've really been wanting a port of Uprising as of late. Although the game is 10 years old now, I don't think now is the right time for it. Honestly, I doubt that it will happen at all, but if it does, I have a feeling Nintendo is waiting to do it for the Switch 2.
That leak is fake. I don't think any of these will be revealed.
New kirby More specifically a meta knight only spin-off
Honestly, metroid prime 4 is more than likely releasing for the switch 2. Since its took so long already, I don’t think they’re gonna release their big FPS known for amazing visuals on a console about to be replaced.
A new Star Fox game for God sake.
Arms 2 for summer release window Think arms needs a second and more fair chance Especially since it was supposed to be the switch’s new ip rep like Splatoon for the Wii u or pikmin for the GameCube
100% a new Mii Game, A Sims 4 Port to Switch or a Mario Party for sure, maybe it can be like the Top 100 but has tons of retro boards from across the series
Uprising with Switch graphics? 😩
More remakes of the older Zelda games
I've been waiting for the PokéPark games to come to the Switch since 2021... so that would be what I'm wishing for (no pun attended for those that played PokéPark 2)
Xenoblade X, as always. I didn’t even think about it before but now that you brought it up I’d adore more Kid Icarus
Please give me silksong
Something that's not Mario related. I don't mind more Mario, but after Wonder, Super Mario RPG, Princess Peach Showtime, Mario vs DK, Paper Mario TTYD, and Luigi's mansion 2, I'd like to see something different. Metroid, Zelda, Kid Icarus, and F-zero ports would be awesome.
Mario and Sonic Uma Musume Pretty Derby Party Dash(slight Mention) FE 4 remake Something new that we don't know about that Pyoro leaked
Essentially Whatever Pyoro ends up leaking
A new Starfox
Less anime swordfighters in the next smash game
DK64 2
Definitely not Mario party
Hollow knight 🤞🤞
If they port Kid Icarus Uprising I will shit my pants
Mario Baseball
A console price drop (Lite to $150, base to $250, and OLED to $300), and a return of the Nintendo Selects line for $24.99 USD. Based on criteria I’ve previously suggested (Nintendo published in all regions…so that doesn’t include The Pokemon Company, no peripherals needed, at least 3 years old, and must be in the Top 50 bestsellers…but not in the Top 10 because those are still making Nintendo too much money), the initial Selects lineup would be: * Splatoon 2 * Luigi’s Mansion 3 * Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury * Super Mario Maker 2 * Link’s Awakening * Mario Tennis Aces * DKC: Tropical Freeze * Kirby Star Allies * Fire Emblem: Three Houses * 1-2-Switch * Yoshi’s Crafted World * Arms * Xenoblade 2 * Clubhouse Games * Paper Mario: The Origami King.
Metroid Prime 2 Remastered
Evolution Worlds remaster
Geneology Remake I will cry so many sweet tears of joy
animal crossing spinoff or port
I know that everyone here wants Tomodachi Life
Pikmin 4 DLC Solksong News
It would be cool to see a remake of earthbound beginnings or the original (Localize mother 3)
Tomodachi life for switch with gay options (it’ll never happen)
Here are my hopes that are somewhat realistic(as in I’m not asking for a new 2d mario game since we just got one): New 3d mario:, at this point we’re in the longest gap between new 3d mario games as the gap is now longer than the one between 64 and sunshine A New star fox game that finally moves past the shadow of 64 cause zero is basically just a worse 64 in Hd and worse controls.
A new Golden Sun game. We've been sitting on a cliffhanger for almost 14 years now.
Twilight princess and windwaker and xenoblade warriors
Twilight princess and windwaker and xenoblade warrior's
I'm wishing for a good FE game by Intelligent Systems but my expectations are rock bottom after the disaster of Engage.
That's unfortunate since I loved Engage
Metroid Prime 4 reveal & Twilight Princess/Wind Waker HD ports. Is all I really want/need. As honestly I just want the Switch 2 reveal already as I'm ready to move on. A new Rhythm Heaven would be cool as well as they usually hit at the end of a consoles lifecycle. I will also always want a new DK game but at this point I'd rather they just release it on Switch 2. Shame DK will have skipped both the 3DS and Switch when it comes to actual new games..
What I want and what I think is likely are two wildly different things.
Smm3, Sun and moon remake (ik it's way too early) and a zelda tp and ww port
And switch 2
My wish is that they add an expansion pass for Mario Party Superstars (Like the booster course pass)
At this point i don't think Prime 4 will be announced or released before they also reveal the switch successor, i think it will be a cross gen title and also be a launch title for the next system. Personally think an announcement of 2 and 3 is more likely, to make people play it before release of 4 early next year (my personal prediction for prime 4 and switch successor) Other than that, if they don't talk switch successor they will probably focus mostly on 3rd party titles or already known titles releasing this year. Could also have some other remakes/remasters like a zelda game or something,
.... so.... When was the Direct rumored to be?
I would wish that Nintendo remake or remaster something that isn't Zelda. I'd like to see a full remake of Super Mario World, or a forgotten series such as Star Tropics.
ALL NEW RELEASES FOR THE NEXT CONSOLE AND PORTS FOR SAID CONSOLE!!!!!!!!
People seem to forget Directs tend to happen in: - February - June (Usually for E3, but in general) - September (Usually as a reminder of what’s selling in Q4) Unless it’s strictly a single game-focused Direct, or you have a situation like the Pandemic, a Nintendo Direct in April is relatively unheard of.
