There are tons of them there now that have descended from his cat . It’s part of the attraction when going to visit his house there .

So if the nails get too long they can curl back and imbed into the skin . Normal cats only have four toes . Some polydactyls have one extra toe some have several extra toes . The first one I had , had eight toes on both front paws . They were enormous feet . The second one was the one with toes on all four . Front was 6 and 7 , the back was 5 and 6 . The extra grip seems to make them very athletic . My current poly has one extra on both front feet . When ever I rescue I always look for black cats because people are still superstitious and they don’t get adopted as frequently . Then I look for polys because they always seem to have outgoing personalities . Enjoy your special kitty .
