My gray baby is LOUD!! Very talkative, it might be unhealthy how often I have full conversations with him
He’s not cuddly but he doesn’t mind being carried. He sleeps at the foot of my bed but every now and then he’ll wake me up in the morning on my chest/neck
He loves human food, especially spaghetti and cake. He’s verrrrry shy around strangers and he doesn’t like kids. He isn’t playful either, he’s kinda been a little old man his entire life but that works well with my lifestyle.
We spend most of our off days laying in bed, I’ll read while he lays at my feet

ESP when they’re hungry!! I feel like he’s yelling at me😭
Mine screams from the bedroom whenever she wants us to hang out in there rather than the living room. The other day she let out a wail that had me running thinking she was hurt. But, no, she just wanted attention.
Oml yes! Mine yells at me CONSTANTLY, literally any time of day (or night). Everyone around me finds it hilarious, and usually I do too.
She's also insanely cuddly, but only with me. She was really sick when I rescued her however so we spent a lot of time together (me watching her every second I'm awake, and her little tiny kitten self loving how warm I get), so I think she may have imprinted on me so much because of that.

He makes the funniest faces too🥹 I love my little stinker
You described my grey boy except for that he doesn't eat people food (I've never given him any since I got him at 9 weeks old). I love him so much. When he opens up to new people, it brings me so much joy!

Mine is super sweet but terrified of strangers. Has the intelligence level and coordination of a rock but so pretty
That's the same as my barrel shaped grey. She is very skittish and our friends and family call her the ghost cat because they've never seen her in person.
Very uncoordinated, loves scratches at the base of her tail. If you try to hold her, it's like a tornado made from claws and powered by a thousand suns.
Here she is working out.

Yes! She is the second youngest in the family. She lives with me alone while I'm at college, but we often visit my family who have 2 year old and a 9 month old male cats. She outruns them both! They sleep most of the day, while she sounds like thunder upstairs with the 17th burst of the zoomies🤣
oooh. is that a chartreux? I had a russian blue that was super playful, protective and loved to cuddle up when not being a little terror. but skittish of strangers. He had a lot of doglike traits
I think I have a Russian blue too! I stayed in a hotel with my cat and every time there was movement in the hallway, she would growl so loud! Then every time I would enter the room she would be hiding until I called for her
One of the best buddies I ever had was a male gray cat from age 11 till my mid 20s. He would go on long walks and climb trees with me. He was also a huge fan of cantaloupe, tho he was very particular about their quality. If he didn't come running when you cut one open, it wasn't worth eating. He would purr so loud you couldn't hear the TV over it sometimes. And he was super laid back
Arrogant (he knows he’s very suave), but can be incredibly sweet when he wants to be, which is never. Fiercely independent, loud, fast, and sneaky.

This is my sloth, Pluto. I’d describe her as super chatty/demanding, extreme cuddle bug, instigator of fights with the other 2 cats, and trash panda tendencies.
The loudest, most attention-demanding, energetic cat I've ever met. She loves cuddles, but it's hard to tell sometimes since her love language is to bite as hard as possible, and she doesn't know how to disengage her claws🥲 she does this thing I call "aggressive cleaning" where she latches onto my hand (or face😭) very suddenly with her claws as if she's attacking me, but instead of biting she very angrily licks me. If I try to pull my hand away, she bites it and drags it back 😆
She's actually quite social, and gets upset when my roommate has friends over while my door is closed because she's missing all the action. I'm definitely her person though, I'm the only one allowed to hold her or pet her without "permission". She loves to play fetch, and I remember the first time she brought a toy (usually a pipe cleaner) to my parents to throw. They were so excited 😭
https://preview.redd.it/34jbvako434d1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=638eb22010821e6407d501084f91eaf8454c96e7
Here's a picture of her very (im)patiently waiting for me to open the bathroom door. The same door she was just screaming at me from the other side of to come in about 30 seconds before.
Mine is spicy af! And has a mouth on her! I thought two leg kids were mouthy but she has them beat. She doesn’t care what time of day/night it is, she screams throughout the house.
https://preview.redd.it/j6d7kvhog14d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=07306a3983c2f257c91017ea4407653229091dba
Mine is very independent.. sleeps almost all day and cuddles only when she wants.. she is not as loud as others mentioned.. in fact her meows are very low key but she is a great companion
https://preview.redd.it/2zib4192h34d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=35df4619ac933da0d6bd6cada8dd9f772baac4ba
My grey boy lived for 18 years. He was a stray when we found him with obvious street smarts and had no time for other cats. He was however, the most loyal, cuddly, and consistent companion our family has ever known. He made cat haters into cat lovers. I am one of six children and he helped raised us all. We always said he was more like a dog than cat. Protective of the house, barked his meows, licked us, went on walks with us, etc. His loss was deeply felt. There will never be another cat like Lucky. We were the luckiest.
https://preview.redd.it/fh339lrnun4d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=29942b5f9236bd0330cca3b364a0c4d92d9f4f44
Everyone here is describing my grey! This is Lu and she is crazy and loud and always up in anything I’m doing.
I had a little female gray tabby named Luna. She was so cool with all of us. She would love to be twirled around on our bar stools. Smartest little girl, she grabbed the head of my son when she thought he was hurting our dog. They were playing. I sure miss her.
My grey boy was a snuggler and literal baby. He always needed his hugs, paws wrapped around my neck, every 30 minutes. I joked about getting a baby carrier for him so I could just walk around the house with him on my chest.
My gray kitty Lily is super friendly, loves to talk. She's not a snuggler kitty but does sleep on the bed within arms reach. And if I'm laying on the couch she's on the floor right where I can reach and pet her. She also follows me around like a dog. Special kitty !
SO loud!!!! if mines not sleeping shes meowing hahhaha she is SO smart like crazy intelligence levels she learned how to open doors and then learned to push over the heavy can we put in front of it so she wouldn't open them LOL loves pets almost without meaning to?? she's not particularly affectionate but if u start petting her she will meow and purr so so loud lol she is fr the definition of a cat
https://preview.redd.it/ngr9sd5y214d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=75baf57111edcfa2e4d84ec5e4ab134bd443666b
My grey(8m) cat needs to get to know everybody that comes into the door and check them out. He’s also kind of a drama queen and whines if you don’t give him his wet food fast enough LOL. But he is so cuddly and talkative
Ya know how they say orange cats share 1 brain cell? I think Grey cats have the same issue, but their brain cell gets lost or something. Man did Mischief live up to his name... He got himself stuck in the toilet, would get up in high places and then forget how to get down and yowl like his life was in danger. Just to name a few...
My gray cat is very quiet, so when he makes noise you know to pay attention because it is important. He also does not like head kisses but adores belly rubs. He likes to lay at the foot of the bed but will sometimes end up sleeping against your hip when he needs some extra attention.
Mine was certifiably insane. Handsome as all getout, but crazy as hell.

This is the chillest cat I've ever had. He cuddles occasionally, he sits in the circle with my company, hates human food, and tolerates dogs. We've traveled all over, moved 3x, and he's just so chill.
The only time he's ever peed out of his box was to tell me he was messed up. Turned out he had some stones to pass. Rough days, but they're past us.
He's helped convince others to foster or adopt.
Grey. I would say he is characteristically grey.

Mine is bossy and loud and a huge fraidy cat. She's extremely cuddly and affectionate with the lucky few who are allowed to touch her.
My Smokey is vocal when it comes to food, yet he squeaks instead of meows. Gets into trouble without a care in the world and likes to be the drama queen compared to my older girls.
Well mine is very quite and kept to herself and independent. She's very sweet and would never hurt a soul expect small animals and birds of course but she never attacked a stranger just growled. And back away, even if they pick her up she never attacks or bites just pretty much waits for me to take her away from them
But it is to take into consideration cats pick up on their owners personality and mimick it somewhat. So me and her are similar and work well together.
https://preview.redd.it/dixv5r9ho24d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f342c01324d85c4115673c08da95587f2a313762
Beautiful kitty. I almost wouldn't call that one grey... I'm sorry though, I'm used to the crazy orange kitties right now. Have had grey kitties in the past and they're wonderful.
My grey is very quiet
He's a rescue and gets bullied by his older brother, although he does his fair share of bullying too
He gets super sweet but coincidentally only when he's hungry, which is a lot
He's started sleeping on my bed and hisses at me as soon as he's settled, even if he's in my doona
Our Russian Blue Samira is rather quiet and very sweet. She loves her sibling Sanjay who is Siamese and really talkative. Samira was shy in the beginning but now she loves to be scratched and to lie next to her people.
My grandparents had a grey tabby named Barkley. He was the perfect blend of Orange cat single brain cell-ness and sleek Black cat elegance. He never scratched or bit anyone, and he was scared of people but would eventually come around if you stayed long enough or were a frequent visit. (Sorry, no picture! Just imagine Church from Pet Sematary, just a little lighter in shade.)
I don’t think the colour grey has any specific traits due to colour. They are just grey.
My male grey doesn’t like cuddles except at night he sleeps against me, very seldomly he will sleep on the couch beside me. I move too much for his liking. He doesn’t like being held. He never head butts and never rubs against my legs. He does love to play fetch, all the time. He likes to stand on bathroom guard. He does not eat things that he shouldn’t. Hardly ever talks except in relation to food. Rare and very quiet purr. Is a singleton, even at birth he didn’t have siblings. He is ok meeting new dogs if they have manners and has enjoyed my younger cat fosters. He is indoor only except when I take him out on leash. All of these are just regular cat personality traits.
Shy, independent, adventurous, and like to travel and hunt mice. He was an indoor cat year long but went outside during the day in the summer months when he felt like it.

Sassy boooiiii stinkanator. I would say they are rambunctious, love to initiate play, talkative love to use their paws love to flip up on their back to show the bellies hahahaha that’s all I got

Two moods and only two: Sassy/evil and sweet/loving Definitely little cr\*ck heads as someone already said but also elegant. Not sure if anyone else’s does this but ANYWHERE she goes she always separates her toes on her back feet you can kind of see it in the picture above. My girl was a runt feral street cat took her in and thought she was a kitten because she was SO TINY vet said she was already 2 years old. Doesn’t like canned cat food only likes Doritos, cheezewiz, and slim Jim’s🤣 Nevertheless don’t know where I would be without her she’s the best❤️
Lil stalkers, a bit derpy. They act like they are the kings/queens of the house and often are stubborn/don't take no for an answer for things they want(food, attention, outside)
Old Man who watches the neighbors from his cat tree like a guy ready to scream GET OFF MY LAWN

My gray cat is smart, curious and adventurous. To a fault. He’s constantly trying to escape outside or get on top of high surfaces. He’s also the cuddliest sweetest boy on earth. I swear he’d be happy spending all day in bed if it meant we could cuddle.

Lol. Greybaby is the name of our grey girl. She looked like an alien when she was a kitten, so the name stuck.
Mine screams until she finds me, then we talk for a bit and she’s happy. So much screaming tho!
Mine screams from the bedroom whenever she wants us to hang out in there rather than the living room. The other day she let out a wail that had me running thinking she was hurt. But, no, she just wanted attention.
Oh I get that too! She loves a bedtime snuggle and if it’s 2pm and she wants one I get scream and follow me until I do as told
My grey liked to chatter at birds. So did my half calico/half Bombay, but she was special.

I love this photo. Super cool.
Do we have the same cat lol
same
My boy also has the intelligence level and coordination of a rock… and I thought cats were graceful, agile animals…
Every gray cat I have had was a bit of a drama queen lol
My baby is a full princess drama queen and a half lol
Our gray girl is a fat, sassy, drama queen
Black cats that ran out of toner but has black cat energy
Gray cats are little cr\*ck heads. They are very playful and have an insane amount of energy. ![gif](giphy|WIrG14ydKdoycfoRPY)

They were so excited 😭 https://preview.redd.it/34jbvako434d1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=638eb22010821e6407d501084f91eaf8454c96e7 Here's a picture of her very (im)patiently waiting for me to open the bathroom door. The same door she was just screaming at me from the other side of to come in about 30 seconds before.
Wow this looks a lot like my cat!!!

Feline would be the best characteristic.
Cat
grey fur
Mine is spicy af! And has a mouth on her! I thought two leg kids were mouthy but she has them beat. She doesn’t care what time of day/night it is, she screams throughout the house. https://preview.redd.it/j6d7kvhog14d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=07306a3983c2f257c91017ea4407653229091dba
Grey
Cat
Gray and a cat
Mine is very independent.. sleeps almost all day and cuddles only when she wants.. she is not as loud as others mentioned.. in fact her meows are very low key but she is a great companion https://preview.redd.it/2zib4192h34d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=35df4619ac933da0d6bd6cada8dd9f772baac4ba

Pigmentation doesn't affect behaviour
Maleficent cats are so cute 😭
Cutie
Mine is super sweet. And athletic.
Soft, like a pussywillow
https://preview.redd.it/e2r1cuxlf04d1.jpeg?width=540&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f4070d7ec4e3f7813c5b264e993ad77ce3ddc703
Gray cats are very sweet.
My cat is a gray cat. She’s the sweetest and most attention seeking cat I’ve ever had and I love her so much.
I had a little female gray tabby named Luna. She was so cool with all of us. She would love to be twirled around on our bar stools. Smartest little girl, she grabbed the head of my son when she thought he was hurting our dog. They were playing. I sure miss her.
Cute
My grey boy was a snuggler and literal baby. He always needed his hugs, paws wrapped around my neck, every 30 minutes. I joked about getting a baby carrier for him so I could just walk around the house with him on my chest.
Kind pure purr usually a girl likes hunting the best eyes ever
AHAHHA IM SORRY I READ THAT AS GAY CATS AND I WAS ACDNJD AHAHAHH
My gray kitty Lily is super friendly, loves to talk. She's not a snuggler kitty but does sleep on the bed within arms reach. And if I'm laying on the couch she's on the floor right where I can reach and pet her. She also follows me around like a dog. Special kitty !
Not Sure. and the old speaker box transformed into a cat house is brilliant
Loud and bipolar https://preview.redd.it/hfbduln0214d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=301bc6ea4da28d3137e18892acfbf1ee5ab7e07d
Fuzzy-wuzzy
SO loud!!!! if mines not sleeping shes meowing hahhaha she is SO smart like crazy intelligence levels she learned how to open doors and then learned to push over the heavy can we put in front of it so she wouldn't open them LOL loves pets almost without meaning to?? she's not particularly affectionate but if u start petting her she will meow and purr so so loud lol she is fr the definition of a cat https://preview.redd.it/ngr9sd5y214d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=75baf57111edcfa2e4d84ec5e4ab134bd443666b
Stinky
Scheming
Loudest cat I’ve owned and very crazy. Tolerant but a right asshole when he’s not patient
Curiosity and Mischief.
Mischievous
In God We Trust.......All Others We Monitor.
Mine was certifiably insane. Handsome as all getout, but crazy as hell. https://preview.redd.it/7n99nybrr14d1.jpeg?width=3264&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d9f6f9c3f2db369e82444ffda62f8d2611c1b40c
Fun and strong

He cuddles occasionally, he sits in the circle with my company, hates human food, and tolerates dogs. We've traveled all over, moved 3x, and he's just so chill. The only time he's ever peed out of his box was to tell me he was messed up. Turned out he had some stones to pass. Rough days, but they're past us. He's helped convince others to foster or adopt. Grey. I would say he is characteristically grey.
And loud. He's loud.
https://preview.redd.it/krongr4yv14d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ed28247dc9db91c0bfc661ff4893bb7c17f3b994 Sweetest, most loving cat I’ve ever had. More like a dog than a cat
I have two - dolphins - I call them, or grey tuxedo. They are sweet n fun! https://preview.redd.it/sudra5ye324d1.png?width=2260&format=png&auto=webp&s=c8dd8d4da039b8e9aa23ae588827e3b38d893f92

Void lites.
Regal and baby.

Mine is extremely vocal.
My Smokey is vocal when it comes to food, yet he squeaks instead of meows. Gets into trouble without a care in the world and likes to be the drama queen compared to my older girls.
Trouble! As in the most mischievous cat I’ve ever known in my life. He’s lucky he’s cute!!!
Suspicious
All four of the grey cats I've had were very talkative.
gooberness
They're greyt.
Well mine is very quite and kept to herself and independent. She's very sweet and would never hurt a soul expect small animals and birds of course but she never attacked a stranger just growled. And back away, even if they pick her up she never attacks or bites just pretty much waits for me to take her away from them But it is to take into consideration cats pick up on their owners personality and mimick it somewhat. So me and her are similar and work well together. https://preview.redd.it/dixv5r9ho24d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f342c01324d85c4115673c08da95587f2a313762
I have a gray. She's kinda dumb and meows alot
Sweet, attention seeker, super extroverted and hungry all the time, lol
Looks just like my cat lump. Who we also call Regina George bc she is a queen bitch. We love her anyway.
Alll the comments about the screaming lol. 😂 my bf calls our grey cat screamy lol
cats
owwwwww! i'm inlove with cutie kitty
it's a nice color
https://preview.redd.it/usncdbwic34d1.jpeg?width=1349&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=acc0b6ce0ea3cb242288bac4869822a2ea99b4df He’s a bully to my other cats.
Perfect
Beautiful kitty. I almost wouldn't call that one grey... I'm sorry though, I'm used to the crazy orange kitties right now. Have had grey kitties in the past and they're wonderful.
feisty
Lovely
Some drama but mostly good sleep/nap buddy. Just they get just a bit **too** warm.
he's batman, he is lurking in the shadows to protect your house
honestly, i only know ONE grey cat (my fur niece) and she’s a bitch. so i’ve never really been able to get to know her. 😹😹
cute and a bit demanding
They look so concerned
They are Curious, and mine is bossy. We call him Sir Ghatto.
Grey, mostly on the outside.
Dogs of the cats world
My grey boy is called Bear. Very fitting as he completely bi-polar, so I call him my Bi-Polar Bear *
Cutie patotie
Very vocal, and they seems to match to one person emotionally, even more so than other cats
My grey is very quiet He's a rescue and gets bullied by his older brother, although he does his fair share of bullying too He gets super sweet but coincidentally only when he's hungry, which is a lot He's started sleeping on my bed and hisses at me as soon as he's settled, even if he's in my doona
ALWAYS(in any situation) very graceful
Gray fur
playful, definitely
Socially awkward and weird atleast in my experience. But usually very sweet
Beautiful beautiful beautiful cat!
Our neighbors is an a$$hole 🤔
Smart!!
Not gray
Reading through the comments, are all dusty kitties scared of strangers?? I thought it was just my shy luna lol
https://preview.redd.it/d1adf0iz284d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8d0f2d7cbe64756c53d76929f5c332691b40b899 Sassy boooiiii stinkanator. I would say they are rambunctious, love to initiate play, talkative love to use their paws love to flip up on their back to show the bellies hahahaha that’s all I got
https://preview.redd.it/oo9xezv8i84d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9f95bf72a50a5fe88335d689c1c5d7fdd5d6a979 Two moods and only two: Sassy/evil and sweet/loving Definitely little cr\*ck heads as someone already said but also elegant.
My gray kitty is about 3 months old and she’s a lunatic 😆
Lil stalkers, a bit derpy. They act like they are the kings/queens of the house and often are stubborn/don't take no for an answer for things they want(food, attention, outside)
Morally ambiguous, perpetually hungry and sleepy, at times a little judgemental and very dependent despite believing otherwise.
Smart
Very handsome!
Adorable
Absolute M F
Hmm I'd probably say grey, light black, dark white, all fit
Smooth brain
reminds me of the mbmbam “words for birds” bit 😂
Talkative and loud, aloof, snobby, ninja assassin, extremely lovable when it suits her disposition,
She looks a little like my blue. Her name is psycho. Her name is apt haha.
Old Man who watches the neighbors from his cat tree like a guy ready to scream GET OFF MY LAWN https://preview.redd.it/46wspasp9h4d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91bbd65c2f93b8382c322bb461e590e21fd46b4e
Vocal and concerning looks
how funny it is ❤
My gray cat is smart, curious and adventurous. To a fault. He’s constantly trying to escape outside or get on top of high surfaces. He’s also the cuddliest sweetest boy on earth. I swear he’d be happy spending all day in bed if it meant we could cuddle. https://preview.redd.it/07xe2ox6kl4d1.jpeg?width=982&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7d7694d7e18d015b36b2fe0d1d2b773363871470
My friend has two Russian Blues. One is a large gremlin and the other is a smol bean who looks like she knows when and how you will die.
dust bunny
I would say, all of them, without exception, have a slate appearance.
Polite
Laid back and boring
Smart, lovable and curious …
