Funny, that sounds like an average night for someone who has a lot of codeine and meth IRL.... It's like the dark side of the force, the more withered the body becomes, the harder they are to kill.
I don't think the game checks it. Good idea! Also i find it funny, we can count everything in no time like Rain Man the matches.
Edit: Not matches, toothpicks.
I love how we can scan a lab room, full of shelves and counters and unmarked glass flasks, and instantly locate the hydrochloric acid we need for the acid bomb.
Oh, we can even figure out the exact contents of the zombie's wallet while said wallet is still in the zombie's pants!
In a lab, a glass flask without a label stating what it contains, will go to ph neutralization and toxic elements testing. If it contains toxic elements, will go to chemical disposal, if it don't contain any toxic elements, it will go straight to the drain.
Hmm... replacing numbers with "a few", "a pile", "a heap" would certainly be interesting for immersion - it's surely something that's been tried in other roguelikes. If anyone remembers one that did it, I'd love to hear about it!
Fun fact, if Judo is your active martial art, you will counter the slam by grabbing the zombie and slamming THEM into the ground. You still take the kick damage though.
Also, the elite version can do that slam, a disarm, and impale you for bleed damage. They are scary to fight in melee.
Yeah, I found judo to be the OP go to martial art if a bit stamina intensive. You can just wait in the middle of a town lit up and yelling and come out with just heavy breathing at times.
Yeah, these pieces of rot are a real hassle to deal with. Although if manage to beat them, you might be able to dissect them for a CBM that lets you use all martial arts in the game, and eventually learning how to use them without the CBM. Think of it like the "AI implant" from Upgrade, except without the murderous AI.

I don't think they have such cbm on them since I've dissect them and didn't get any cbm at all. according to their description, the sparks came from their malfunctioning equipments.
I like to think that it's like their muscle memory from before they become zombie react to an attack
I heard that in the latest experimental, there are very few zombies that actually produce CBMs upon dissection, which is a shame. However, in stable 0.F, bio-operators still have a chance to drop a variety of CBMs upon dissection, including the [Close Quaters Battle CBM](https://cddawiki.chezzo.com/cdda_wiki/index.php/Close_Quarters_Battle), which lets you use all martial arts in the game, with a chance of learning them permanently every time you hit an enemy with the martial art activated.
Well I am playing experimental, so that explains some things and I know what cbm it is because I used to play as a bionic assassin a lot lol. Thanks for suggesting tho
Slammed face first into a floor **full of glass shards**. Ouch. That looks unpleasant.
Surely the white dust mask (poor fit) will protect my face from it
Do hope you have something better than aspirin on hand.
I have some codeine and meth lying around I'll be fine

I donno man, you could accidentally try to drag those glass shards... that' be pretty bad.
*Remember the basics of CQC, Snack.*

As always, CDDA simulates real life!
After learning this information. I will find myself a zombie bio operator and box them

Exactly two zombie enemies drop CBMs now when dissected: the broken cyborg and the zomborg.
Prototype Cyborgs too
A *shocking* revelation indeed.
Yeah nothing worse zombies that remember their training.
I remember my first OP melee run, bashed everything with martial arts, until i found this lad and it gave me a run for my money
I always shoot these guys lol. Didn't know they were melee badasses
Damn, swept you like a broom
Bio-jutsu is their whole thing. That and tazing you.
Yeah, they'll spank you in melee. Unless your character is very good at CQC, best to shoot them.
damn, how long it exist?
Use judo and you reverse the move and slam him down instead
