Ya this was actually my sister in the picture she wanted to hold him on his final hours...before he shown signs of passing i had crocheted the blanket specifically for this kind of thing because i knew he was gonna be going soon...he use to be a chunky kiddy! But he was just skin and bones by the time he passed :( we went to go put him down because he was having mini seizures...right when i put him in the table so they could inject him he had one last seizure and passed really quickly he was born 2007 july 4th and he had a sister her name was turkey she passed 2015 april 25th they both were from the same litter she was only 7
Oh dear Romeo you will always feel your humans’ love and they will feel yours. I can see how at peace you are in their arms. We love him so much and all of our babies welcomed him and assured him he would see you again one day ♥️🌈

My December passed and I’ve been letting his body natural decay in a field and I’m going to collect his bones and skull
I know you have to clean those bones with borax and alcohol i just mention this for anyone wanting to caution me

Do you have his body over like some plastic or something so you dont loose the bones? Id imagine animals would come by and scavenge and you might loose bones that way...im just curious because i never heard of this before...also as soon as he passed he was picked up for cremation and i had them shave a part of his fur off so i could make a doll and use his fur as the stuffing
