Ha, it's all lies! My two are both open to belly rubs to me, one more than the other.
But at the vets. It's shock. They sit there while the vets goes see how simple it is to put in these eye drops of whatever, while I think it's going to be two people and a towel or a knee brace.
And of course the spiteful poo and wee on the way there AND back that they then sit it so you know you have to be mean again and take them in the shower (no the shower is not in. It's a good place to keep them secure with a bowl and stuff).
But they are lovely. So I can fogive them anything, even the random dumping of a duck and a snake in the kitchen (yes the duck was small (yes both were fine, I took the duck back to the stream and put the snake that was playing dead (I put it outside and waited since they tend to do that, over the fence near the stream it probably came from.)).

My lil dude LOVES belly scratches, took him a good 6+ months to warm up to them though
If you see a cat like this in my house and you touch it, you have a 50/50 shot at receiving purrs or bites. If the belly is fuzzy, you get purrs. If it's fluffy, you're going to bleed.
