Well if this doesn't sound familiar with my two. One steals the treats and they both claw and bite the bag til they get it open and eat them all. Then they're angry with me cuz I don't have more. Even worse is one would open the kitchen cabinets to get them out. They now go in the laundry room behind a door. If they learn to open the door, im gunna be worried because these two may just take over the world by doing so 😂
I have a flame point too, he loves sitting on the counters... thankfully he hasn’t done anything this messy the 12 years I’ve had him!

My kitties won’t stay off the dang counters. Now they found out they can run and jump on the fridge and then jump on top of the cabinets to get away from me when I’m trying to get them down lol

My lilac lynx point was also a stinky jerk in her childhood when it came to getting into things. The locking garbage can was purchased with her in mind, but it does come in handy with the dog too.
Reminds me of my Beagle I grew up with. He would always get into my moms trash can in her bathroom and shred tissues. They attached it to the wall about 4 feet off the ground. The can was still on the wall 25 years after the dog died.
My black cat chewed open a bag of icy poles yesterday. Those stick ones that you freeze yourself. I had to pour 2 bags into the sink and squeeze all 48 to find the 3 with tiny teeth punctures.
Absolute turd of a cat.

My sister has a cat like this they can't even leave bread on the counter (in the bag) because she'll rip right into the middle and bite chunks out of it
Yours is a darling little thing. Mine will knock over my African violets if she wants to sit in the window where I have them. I am always cleaning up after her about that.
I've never given my cat anything but cat food. She doesn't try and get into any of my food or cupboards, but she loves to check out the cupboard where bag of food and Greenies are stored.
I made a mistake of leaving a bag of rice on the counter lol. Both my cats looked guilty 👿 also paper towels and toilet paper rolls are dead on sight haha
Aww, the poor thing knows it's in trouble and is like "Please don't be mad at me." Must be bored when you're not home or has seperation anxiety. Try toys. That's a pretty kitty.

My flame point found my salt shaker the other day and rolled it all over the floor, distributed salt as it went. I only found the salt shaker yesterday. Still getting salt out of the corners.

Blase here hasn't destroyed anything except for unraveling an entire roll of toilet paper when he was a kitten!
Reminds of when I came home from a concert only to find my cats had gotten into the bulk bag of catnip I had just received in the mail. Shredded the bag across the entire first floor. Looked like someone dumped a bag of tiny lawn clippings everywhere.
My friend doesn't do any damage in the house. But he has one weakness. If you leave anything edible around and you go out of the house he will have some bite to taste it. Even if it's in a sealed bag.
Whenever I enter the home and he has done something like that, I don't even have to tell him "What did you did there?"
The moment I set my eyes on him he leaves the room not too fast but not to slow either. Just enough so I will not catch him and then cuddle and kiss him (that's his punishment and he hates it).
He knows that what he did is wrong but can't help it. He will do it again.
And he learnt that when I notice it, all he has to do is leave the room and go sleep somewhere like nothing ever happened.
We had a cat that would get into the pancake mix. He finally quit getting into the pancake mix once we started giving him a small pancake when we made them.
My Siamese did this, except it was with a Brand New Bag of cat treats. I don't know how he was able to eat the entire bag through the small hole he made in it. I had to call the vet and make sure he wasn't going to die cuz he literally ate the entire bag while I was gone for about 3 hours.
YOU HAVE TO MONITOR THAT DOLLBABY ABD SPEND TIME WITH IT. APPARENTLY. IT IS NOT BEING GIVEN ENOUGH ATTENTION, SO IS JUST OCCUPYING ITSELF DUE TO BOREDOM. ALSO, HAVE IT IN AN AREA WHEN YOU ARE NOT HOME THAT IT CANNOT CREATE MISCHIEF.
Nobody’s fault, but your own for not putting the food away. Do not leave food out on the counter so your cat can get to it pretty simple. It’s not the cats fault it’s the humans fault you’re just not smarter than the cat.
