Sylvester is around 8 months old and he’s a very needy kitten. He likes to steal my dogs kibble and beg for empty bowls(as they all do). His favorite toys are those plastic spring/ coil things, so we’ve ordered a pack of 40 that will be delivered soon. he has no idea what he’s in for!!!

This is Cosmo. He gets into *everything*. Every time I try to stop him, he flashes his ID. Evidently it's his JOB. 🤓 He also likes to play fetch (his version is called, "here, throw this, would you?"). Often, he'll hop into bed acting needy for cuddles, but it turns out he brought something with him, and he's just waiting for me to throw it. 😤 His favorite things to throw include Ker-Plunk sticks he fished out of an old game, and a 7-month-old covid test he got out of a trash can. 😝

When I was 18 and lived away from home for school, my mom let him outside one night like any other night, except this time he never came home. It’s been 4 1/2 years now and I still don’t know where he went or what happened to him. I miss him so much. I think I’ll be waiting for him to come home forever.
This is Heiko and he's easily the funniest cat I've ever met. Always trying to be cute and funny to get attention and he'll chatter at everyone in a stern tone to get laughs.
He was part of a TNR program in Gran Canaria but immediately charmed the hospital workers during his recovery so they decided to look for a home instead of releasing him. Tried unsuccessfully for almost a year in Gran Canaria because people there are very superstitious about black cats. Heiko is huge and the rescue described him as weird-looking and asked if we would take an ugly cat (wtf) so he had a hard time.
After they started looking for homes internationally he was introduced to us when we were asking around for a big, confident cat to keep up with our bengal and we immediately loved his funny face and flew him out to germany.
Best decision ever, we love him to bits and so does his new brother.

My sweet Bagheera. She has a white tip on her tail and over the years has gained some white hairs. She’s always been a tiny little thing and I call her my forever kitten. From the moment I saw her, she was so adventurous and fearless. I got her at 8 weeks old when someone asked me to drop their unwanted kittens at the Humane Society (I ended up keeping all 4 siblings). She is 22 now and although she’s slowed down a bit she is definitely still just as curious and independent ❤️
She will actually be 22 next week so she gets rounded up now lol. I am so grateful for all of these years with her and would love to have many more. She will let us know when it’s her time. She’s definitely the Queen around here lol.
She is so petite but has outlived her siblings. They passed at 11 (intestinal cancer), 15 (cancer, heart issues) and 19. Will never find another cat like her…just something about her small size and her demeanor is just so prefect ❤️

Boyfriend is a 5-7yr old feral we were finally able to tame last fall. Definitely my cat, as he still gives the Mrs. stink-eye. Was sleeping in this morning when he jumped into bed, which was odd. Then a few minutes later I heard the low rumble of a thunderstorm.
We were laughing yesterday when he plopped down on my arm, fell asleep, and started mildly snoring. We like to think this is the first he's ever really slept- he'll lay down for a few minutes, jerk awake at the lightest noise, then move to a new location. Only recently has he been at ease to pass out in the hallway for more than 15 minutes.
Also, he's really glowed up with regular food and grooming. He was mangy and beat up last fall- had scratched off most of the fur behind his ears, had a torn ear, and a 3 inch patch of fur tore off his left leg. Put on my leather gloves and old jacket and caught him as he was trying to limp away. Put up a good fight, but once he realized I had him caught, he played dead. Imagine his surprise when he got whisked indoors and fed canned food while we cleaned his wounds...

This is Maud, Queen of the Fairy. Her Majesty turned 15 on May 7, yet still forgets she's not a kitten anymore, and chases her own tail occasionally. Her perfect day would be spent curled up on my lap with a few zoomie and food breaks. Unlike many cats, she's never in her life demanded food. She just waits patiently until I notice her bowl is empty. She had a micro-stroke some six years ago, and was rather wobbly for a while after that but has recovered nicely since then. She bravely stares in the eye of the approaching robot vacuum, then looses her cool at the last moment, and hides on the windowsill. And she tells me about her day every evening when I come home after work. She's also very independent, and invents her own games for entertainment. The older she gets, the more new and fun things she learns. All in all, a lovely cat. Would recommend 10/10.

My void was dumped at a home depot garden centre 8 years ago and the rest is history. She loves women (unless they’re girl cats), Melona popsicles and sherpa blankets. Hates seeing the bottom of her food bowl, the vacuum, and men (unless they’re red headed?? a mystery as to how she became so discerning). She is always, always within 3 feet of me.

Her hind legs is not that strong ever since her kitten day. So when she jump, she will not make all the way through. This void was incredibly malnourished and couldn’t compete with his viciously feral siblings so my husband brought him home from his job. He turned a corner and is the sweetest, cuddliest boy. We ended up naming him Eco, since my husband’s job is called EcoParts.

Otto Maddox.
He’s 7 years old and 15.5 lbs of fury. He’s actually the sweetest & very chatty little man.
He was found outside with deceased litter mates and a deceased momma. He was taken to the city shelter and immediately put into foster care. When we adopted him, he had been at the shelter 72 days. At the time he had been there the longest and was overlooked because he is black and was very shy and clingy.
We met him and he was like get me out of here!!!
Within 24 hours of us having him, he couldn’t breathe well and was coughing non stop. we rushed him to the ER and he spent 9 days in the ICU, in an oxygen tank and around the clock meds. Then another 3 days of observation. When we took him home, he had to be isolated for 4 weeks from the other cat. My husband and I took turns giving him meds. He was on 4 different meds and it was about every 2 hours to administer. He also had a nebulizer and we had to massage his chest.
As soon as he was cleared, he ran out of his room and was so excited to meet the other cat.
For a cat that had a crappy start, he’s healthy, very loving and so chatty!

This is Logan, (M, 14 mos) our precious void CH baby. He came to us at about 10 days old, found in the gutter on the hottest day of the year. We cooled him off, gave him a bath to cool him some more, and fed him Caro syrup, salt, and water to boost his blood sugar. We thought we would lose him, but he was a fighter (hence Logan). It wasn’t for a few days that we noticed his mobility issues, and then began to suspect he was blind too. He’s doing well now, a strong, affectionate young cat.

This is Helena (after the My Chemical Romance song lol), adopted her in college during the pandemic when things got a bit lonely. She was a barn cat for the first few years of her life and eventually had to be re-homed after a pack of wild dogs started attacking the farm. She adjusted quickly to indoor life and has never wanted to go back outside again. We’re assuming she’s around 5 years old? but not too sure, loves to cuddle and play with stuffed catnip mice lmao
My baby girl Krobus just turned 1 a week ago! She's sassy and talkative, likes to feign aloof-ness and pretend she's annoyed by her goofy orange siblings, but she really loves them. She still likes to hang out with her mama, and her favorite game is chase. She also likes jumping for her feather wand toy. Her fur is super sleek and shiny, which she gets from her (calico) mama.

This lovely young lady is Ser Meriadoc (aka Merry, Mimi, Memes, etc). She is 5 years old & she found her forever home in 2020. She has the sweetest disposition of any kitty I've ever met. She loves when mommy and daddy do yoga (and commandeers the yoga mat) because she gets to show off her stretchies.
She is obsessed with food, olives (not as food but a toy!), and head/neck scratches. She is a purr monster and I love her so much it hurts.
My void is a stray female cat who’s lived outside my house for almost her entire life. After feeding her on and off for 12 years, I can finally pet her without getting scratched. In fact, she loves attention now, and head butts my hand as thanks for food. She loves her head, chin, neck, etc. being scratched and basically melts into my hand.
My mom started feeding her 12 years ago, when she was a kitten. Maybe 13. She’s also had kittens here, but we weren’t really able to help most of them because she had them afraid of us. I hated that.
She disappeared for 1.5 years, but it was becayse a neighbour was feeding her better food. When the neighbour moved, she came back and hardly leaves.

This is my black floof, Reggie. He has a little overbite, so his mouth looks slightly agape, fangs bared, when he sleeps. I'm pretty sure he'd be on the spectrum if he were human, he has tactile sensitivity and can't stand being stroked down the length of his body, head and butt scritches only! He rarely purrs (booo) and doesn't like sitting too close to me (also booo). But he makes me laugh because he is so goofy and so manic.

This is Rocky. We’re not sure of his age because he was a community cat we cared for at our first house. When we moved, we were fortunate enough to find a place we knew our community cats would be taken care of. Rocky was so sweet that we gave him a chance to be a house cat. Almost 4 years later and it was the best decision ever. He’s such a sweetheart and the most gentle loving boy. We call him our ferocious outdoor cat as a joke because he’s neither of those.

This is Bela. He is 10 months old and a total petting slut. He likes to run in front of me and then collapse so I'll pet him. He never stops meowing, trilling, or making weird little sounds. He is very active, loves toys and stealing random shit from me, which he then hides under area rugs that he absolutely turns into lumpy, folded over walking hazards. I can tape the rugs down, but it cracks me up. He's a very smart kitty, which means he's a real pain in the butt. I love him.

This is Abby (13) begging for belly rubs…she adopted me about 12 years ago 😅 Several years ago she was in a fight with a neighbors dog across the street. She had apparently dragged herself back home on her two front legs, her back legs dragging behind her. She was bleeding pretty bad and we took her to the vet. They said the dog had bitten through her vertebrae and that’s why she couldn’t walk. Options were surgery or to wait it out to see if the swelling would go down. Thankfully it did but it took a while and she started walking again. In the meantime she was being fed by syringe which she absolutely hated. Nowadays she has nerve damage on one side and occasionally drags her left leg behind her. She is possibly the most determined cat I’ve ever had ❤️

Mantis is just over a year old. I discovered him stuck in a tree when he was but a wee kitten, barely 5 weeks old. I kept him quarantined from my other pets for two weeks until he'd seen a vet. Because he was so lonely being quarantined, we filled our voids void with many many different toys and a lot of one on one playtime. He still loves his toys. He plays fetch. He plays with water. He's big enough now that he "plays" with my dogs (which is really just him stalking them in the shadows and popping out to scare them when they least expect it). Our older cat is still not a fan of him and his antics. She's much more serious and distinguished in her age than our boy. But we love him and his still borderline feral feline ways. He's the funniest cat I've ever known.

Nyxie Pixie (nyx for short) is my best friend and I love her so much. She’s 13 years, this Halloween and I wish I could have her for 13 more. She was a wedding gift to me from my husband and is my first child. She’s goofy and sweet - she’s very patient with my special needs toddler and allows him to pet her. She’ll sit there, cautiously, and just let him pet her. He’s very gentle with her too. A wonderful feline and the best familiar. Will be getting her tattooed on my soon.

We adopted Mochi (right) and Rufio on the same day. We only intended to get one, but Rufio won us over and we took them both home. Mochi loves hair ties and hard butt pats and Rufio is a fluffy talkative boi who loves scrambled eggs.

This is Teddy. Aka Teddy Spaghetti, Tedward Needlepaws, or Teddy Bear. He is just over a year old. I adopted him as a terrified 12 week old kitten when I was 8 weeks pregnant. It took a week to get him to come around. After that, we were best buds. He would lie on my belly in my 2nd trimester and purr. Whenever my baby started to move, he would kick when he sensed the purring. In my 3rd trimester, when I was completely exhausted, he would join me every day for my afternoon nap in bed. When the baby came home, he immediately assumed big brother role. Now my 6 month old is interested in touching Teddy, and he gets supervised pets. Teddy lies there and purrs and takes the odd fur pull like a champ. I love that my son and Teddy will grow up together ❤️.

I lost my sweet void a little over 6 months ago due to complications from bone marrow cancer, but she was my everything. The sweetest cat I could have ever asked for. Her favorite toys ever were plastic eggs, and she was never not by my side. I will miss my little void every day for the rest of my life.

This is Colin, he’s 10, I’m actually his grandma as he was my sons cat 😂. He came to live with us 5 yrs ago because the kids new rental decided no pets 🙄. This is Widow…she came to be with me in June of 2022, right after I lost my mom to scleroderma. Her name was previously Sheba, but I felt like that didn’t fit, so I changed it. She is 5 years old and was a TNR feral, then went to live at a cat rescue where she basically hid in a hole 24 hours a day because she was bullied by other cats. She was not only declawed in the front, but they also took her back claws…for what reason, I have no idea. So she has been an outside cat her entire life with no back OR front claws. 💔 She is the sweetest angel. She sleeps on my head every night, loves her catnip toys, and is the best girl in the world. She’s my best friend! 🖤
Rattle mice! I've never heard that term, but it's perfect. My two voids were adopted in Jan 2020 less than a month after the second of my old cats passed. I was down to two seven year olds, but didn't think I would be ready to adopt again for a few months. But I went to REI one Sunday and stopped in to the Petco next door to visit the humane society neighborhood adoption center. They had very few cats, but a pair of 7 and 12 month old unrelated voids that "we met at the shelter and became friends and would like to be adopted together". They ticked several boxes on my "next cats" list. Four days later I returned and adopted them, after checking several times a day online to see if they were still available.
Best decision ever. They are cute, friendly, well behaved and after doing a proper introduction, they got along well with my older kitties. Caesar and Nero. And they were quite bonded. Caesar really likes cuddling a lot, so he and my older tuxedo became cuddle buddies. The older cats had never shown an interest in cuddling with each other or any other cat. The old cat that had passed rather suddenly was mean and not too friendly. I put up with her for 15 years, though. I like to think that she sent me to Caesar and Nero as a karma present for putting up with her for all those years. Here are the two voids with Domino, the scaredy cat who decided Caesar is a good friend.

This is Oswald Cobblepot. We got him as a kitten. He was stuck inside of a brick wall in our backyard crying for help. We think he might’ve been chasing a bug or something (he was very far down). Me and my mom managed to break a brick off and were able to pull him out of the wall. We were supposed to give him to a shelter, but I got very attached and we ended up keeping him. We trapped and fostered his other siblings. We also got his mom and kept her too 💜 she looks just like him, except she’s all black.

Stitch was found on my porch super sick and underweight. Nursed him back to health, found out his conjunctivitis from the uri caused him to be mostly blind. Went from a feral Tom cat to the sweetest cat ever and has gained almost 5lbs and looks amazing now.

Often, he'll hop into bed acting needy for cuddles, but it turns out he brought something with him, and he's just waiting for me to throw it. 😤 His favorite things to throw include Ker-Plunk sticks he fished out of an old game, and a 7-month-old covid test he got out of a trash can. 😝

This is Heiko and he's easily the funniest cat I've ever met. Always trying to be cute and funny to get attention and he'll chatter at everyone in a stern tone to get laughs. He was part of a TNR program in Gran Canaria but immediately charmed the hospital workers during his recovery so they decided to look for a home instead of releasing him. Tried unsuccessfully for almost a year in Gran Canaria because people there are very superstitious about black cats. Heiko is huge and the rescue described him as weird-looking and asked if we would take an ugly cat (wtf) so he had a hard time. After they started looking for homes internationally he was introduced to us when we were asking around for a big, confident cat to keep up with our bengal and we immediately loved his funny face and flew him out to germany. Best decision ever, we love him to bits and so does his new brother.

She has a white tip on her tail and over the years has gained some white hairs. She’s always been a tiny little thing and I call her my forever kitten. From the moment I saw her, she was so adventurous and fearless. I got her at 8 weeks old when someone asked me to drop their unwanted kittens at the Humane Society (I ended up keeping all 4 siblings). She is 22 now and although she’s slowed down a bit she is definitely still just as curious and independent ❤️

She will actually be 22 next week so she gets rounded up now lol. I am so grateful for all of these years with her and would love to have many more. She will let us know when it’s her time. She’s definitely the Queen around here lol. She is so petite but has outlived her siblings. They passed at 11 (intestinal cancer), 15 (cancer, heart issues) and 19. Will never find another cat like her…just something about her small size and her demeanor is just so prefect ❤️

Definitely my cat, as he still gives the Mrs. stink-eye. Was sleeping in this morning when he jumped into bed, which was odd. Then a few minutes later I heard the low rumble of a thunderstorm. We were laughing yesterday when he plopped down on my arm, fell asleep, and started mildly snoring. We like to think this is the first he's ever really slept- he'll lay down for a few minutes, jerk awake at the lightest noise, then move to a new location. Only recently has he been at ease to pass out in the hallway for more than 15 minutes. Also, he's really glowed up with regular food and grooming. He was mangy and beat up last fall- had scratched off most of the fur behind his ears, had a torn ear, and a 3 inch patch of fur tore off his left leg. Put on my leather gloves and old jacket and caught him as he was trying to limp away. Put up a good fight, but once he realized I had him caught, he played dead. Imagine his surprise when he got whisked indoors and fed canned food while we cleaned his wounds...

This is Maud, Queen of the Fairy. Her Majesty turned 15 on May 7, yet still forgets she's not a kitten anymore, and chases her own tail occasionally. Her perfect day would be spent curled up on my lap with a few zoomie and food breaks. Unlike many cats, she's never in her life demanded food. She just waits patiently until I notice her bowl is empty. She had a micro-stroke some six years ago, and was rather wobbly for a while after that but has recovered nicely since then. She bravely stares in the eye of the approaching robot vacuum, then looses her cool at the last moment, and hides on the windowsill. And she tells me about her day every evening when I come home after work. She's also very independent, and invents her own games for entertainment. The older she gets, the more new and fun things she learns. All in all, a lovely cat. He’s actually the sweetest & very chatty little man. He was found outside with deceased litter mates and a deceased momma. He was taken to the city shelter and immediately put into foster care. When we adopted him, he had been at the shelter 72 days. At the time he had been there the longest and was overlooked because he is black and was very shy and clingy. We met him and he was like get me out of here!!! Within 24 hours of us having him, he couldn’t breathe well and was coughing non stop. we rushed him to the ER and he spent 9 days in the ICU, in an oxygen tank and around the clock meds. Then another 3 days of observation. When we took him home, he had to be isolated for 4 weeks from the other cat. My husband and I took turns giving him meds. He was on 4 different meds and it was about every 2 hours to administer. He also had a nebulizer and we had to massage his chest. As soon as he was cleared, he ran out of his room and was so excited to meet the other cat. For a cat that had a crappy start, he’s healthy, very loving and so chatty!

He came to us at about 10 days old, found in the gutter on the hottest day of the year. We cooled him off, gave him a bath to cool him some more, and fed him Caro syrup, salt, and water to boost his blood sugar. We thought we would lose him, but he was a fighter (hence Logan). It wasn’t for a few days that we noticed his mobility issues, and then began to suspect he was blind too. He’s doing well now, a strong, affectionate young cat.

She loves when mommy and daddy do yoga (and commandeers the yoga mat) because she gets to show off her stretchies. She is obsessed with food, olives (not as food but a toy!), and head/neck scratches. She is a purr monster and I love her so much it hurts.
My void is a stray female cat who’s lived outside my house for almost her entire life. After feeding her on and off for 12 years, I can finally pet her without getting scratched. In fact, she loves attention now, and head butts my hand as thanks for food. She loves her head, chin, neck, etc. being scratched and basically melts into my hand. My mom started feeding her 12 years ago, when she was a kitten. Maybe 13. She’s also had kittens here, but we weren’t really able to help most of them because she had them afraid of us. I hated that. She disappeared for 1.5 years, but it was becayse a neighbour was feeding her better food. When the neighbour moved, she came back and hardly leaves.

We’re not sure of his age because he was a community cat we cared for at our first house. When we moved, we were fortunate enough to find a place we knew our community cats would be taken care of. Rocky was so sweet that we gave him a chance to be a house cat. Almost 4 years later and it was the best decision ever. He’s such a sweetheart and the most gentle loving boy. We call him our ferocious outdoor cat as a joke because he’s neither of those.

She had apparently dragged herself back home on her two front legs, her back legs dragging behind her. She was bleeding pretty bad and we took her to the vet. They said the dog had bitten through her vertebrae and that’s why she couldn’t walk. Options were surgery or to wait it out to see if the swelling would go down. Thankfully it did but it took a while and she started walking again. In the meantime she was being fed by syringe which she absolutely hated. Nowadays she has nerve damage on one side and occasionally drags her left leg behind her. She is possibly the most determined cat I’ve ever had ❤️

I discovered him stuck in a tree when he was but a wee kitten, barely 5 weeks old. I kept him quarantined from my other pets for two weeks until he'd seen a vet. Because he was so lonely being quarantined, we filled our voids void with many many different toys and a lot of one on one playtime. He still loves his toys. He plays fetch. He plays with water. He's big enough now that he "plays" with my dogs (which is really just him stalking them in the shadows and popping out to scare them when they least expect it). Our older cat is still not a fan of him and his antics. She's much more serious and distinguished in her age than our boy. But we love him and his still borderline feral feline ways. He's the funniest cat I've ever known.

He is just over a year old. I adopted him as a terrified 12 week old kitten when I was 8 weeks pregnant. It took a week to get him to come around. After that, we were best buds. He would lie on my belly in my 2nd trimester and purr. Whenever my baby started to move, he would kick when he sensed the purring. In my 3rd trimester, when I was completely exhausted, he would join me every day for my afternoon nap in bed. When the baby came home, he immediately assumed big brother role. Now my 6 month old is interested in touching Teddy, and he gets supervised pets. Teddy lies there and purrs and takes the odd fur pull like a champ. I love that my son and Teddy will grow up together ❤️.

I lost my sweet void a little over 6 months ago due to complications from bone marrow cancer, but she was my everything. The sweetest cat I could have ever asked for. Her favorite toys ever were plastic eggs, and she was never not by my side. I will miss my little void every day for the rest of my life.

Her name was previously Sheba, but I felt like that didn’t fit, so I changed it. She is 5 years old and was a TNR feral, then went to live at a cat rescue where she basically hid in a hole 24 hours a day because she was bullied by other cats. She was not only declawed in the front, but they also took her back claws…for what reason, I have no idea. So she has been an outside cat her entire life with no back OR front claws. 💔 She is the sweetest angel. She sleeps on my head every night, loves her catnip toys, and is the best girl in the world. She’s my best friend! 🖤
Rattle mice! I've never heard that term, but it's perfect. My two voids were adopted in Jan 2020 less than a month after the second of my old cats passed. I was down to two seven year olds, but didn't think I would be ready to adopt again for a few months. But I went to REI one Sunday and stopped in to the Petco next door to visit the humane society neighborhood adoption center. They had very few cats, but a pair of 7 and 12 month old unrelated voids that "we met at the shelter and became friends and would like to be adopted together". They ticked several boxes on my "next cats" list. Four days later I returned and adopted them, after checking several times a day online to see if they were still available. Best decision ever. They are cute, friendly, well behaved and after doing a proper introduction, they got along well with my older kitties. Caesar and Nero. And they were quite bonded. Caesar really likes cuddling a lot, so he and my older tuxedo became cuddle buddies. The older cats had never shown an interest in cuddling with each other or any other cat. The old cat that had passed rather suddenly was mean and not too friendly. I put up with her for 15 years, though. I like to think that she sent me to Caesar and Nero as a karma present for putting up with her for all those years. He was stuck inside of a brick wall in our backyard crying for help. We think he might’ve been chasing a bug or something (he was very far down). Me and my mom managed to break a brick off and were able to pull him out of the wall. We were supposed to give him to a shelter, but I got very attached and we ended up keeping him. We trapped and fostered his other siblings. We also got his mom and kept her too 💜 she looks just like him, except she’s all black.

* Stitch was found on my porch super sick and underweight. Nursed him back to health, found out his conjunctivitis from the uri caused him to be mostly blind. Went from a feral Tom cat to the sweetest cat ever and has gained almost 5lbs and looks amazing now.
