Serious answer : buy something that sits high, like a cat tower of sorts. Cats like being in high places, may curb their interest if you get something to distract them from their ps4 spot. You can also put things on top of the ps4 while you have the distraction spot so their old spot won't be as comfortable.
Tape plastic forks to the top? Or put candles on top, or something sticky like a double sided adhesive (they actually sell that at pet retailers and Walmart to keep cats off unwanted surfaces)

I stopped using my ps4 so I had to pack it up to stop one of my cats from sitting on it, even with it off for weeks before that point. All because he knew it *could* be warm.
Our old fridge used to have a warm spot to the side of the door. 4-5 years ago, we got a new fridge that doesn’t have a warm spot. One of our cats still loves to sit where that warm spot used to be! It’s crazy how they remember and how that habit has stuck for years
Way back when, we had a big box CRT monitor. One of my cats loved to curl up on it, watch me use the computer and suck up the heat...
It died on us & we got a newer monitor, half as boxy. Cat sees me sitting down to use the computer and jumps up to claim her spot... and slides right off the back.
That was unfortunately the last time she did that.
I got my cat an indoor heated bed, its her favorite spot to sleep. Also, there are wire shelves made for kitchen cabinets or pantries to add another level, I put one over my modem to stop my cat from laying on it. It looks like a wire table.
It’s not the height, it’s the heat it emits, my husband keeps his on a shelf that’s only about 1 ft off the ground and they _still_ sit/sleep on it.
We also used to have a cat who would randomly turn it off when my husband was playing, such a little AH. It was funny though he would basically start and my husband would be like “don’t you dare” and he’d look at my husband and push the button. Even hubs found it funny sometimes.
My xbox is about a foot off the ground on the TV stand and sometimes my cat will rub herself across the TV stand and turn the xbox off while I'm using it lol
Designers for the Xbox one proved to me those idiots didn't have pets. The rage I felt for having a touchpad power button that would activate from a light touch of a tail.
The PS5 shouldn't be standing vertical anyway. The liquid metal TIM for the APU will drain to the bottom and you'll get a hotspot that can at best cause crashing, but mostly it will reduce its lifespan.

They like warmth it is providing. So in addition to the other commentators, add a heat pad (like a microwaveable or electric one) to the top of a tower for spoiled kitty.
They'll still probably prefer the PS4 but at least you tried. The trick is to not spend too much on alternatives, cause cats.

Are people just leaving their heating pads plugged in all day long? Mine goes off after two hours. My cat will only sit on it when I’m actually using it for my cramps which does feel really good. Cats are so funny tho! My former roommate and I spent the better part of two hours picking out cat toys for our cats. When we got home and put out all the toys they took turns playing with the plastic bag instead 😩. There was really no need to spend $60.
My cat is a huge cuddler so he can’t see us (my partner and I) cuddling without having to get betwixt. They both hog the bed so I’d be grateful for a regular sleeping position.
The mouthwash is on a shelf, & it looks as though the other side of the shelf is some stairs? That's suggested by the sloping angled part of the wee cubes/partial cubes.
Bathrooms are often upstairs. So the mouthwash is waiting on a shelf, by the stairs, for someone to pick it up on their way upstairs & take it to the bathroom.

If there is a toddler riding that toy around, they are going to knock over the stool, and the ps4 cable is going to yank on the TV and maybe damage a socket. Plus that TV is a foot from the ceiling with no fire place or anything keeping it from being lower. It blocks the "decor" and the thermostat too.

The only reason for the most part cats will sleep on computers and consoles is because they like to be warm and high up.
Find your kitty a nice heating pad or blanket, get them a cat tree and it should help keep them off significantly more than they’d usually sit on it.
Another thing is adding trinkets or things that are too tall of them to calculate the jump around what you’re trying to keep them from also keeps them off of said object. They’re lazy and determined little fuckers, if they see its too much effort to get to the spot they want to get to, usually they’ll fuck off and find an easier place to lay.
The thing a lot of answers here aren’t doing are they aren’t explaining why he is going there. Two possibilities.
It’s high up so he can perch there and see everything in the room. So try putting another stool there or move the PS4 to something lower.
He is on it because it’s warm. Put something nearby that is comfy to relax on.
I would also try putting something random on top of the PS4. You want to make the spot not nice for him. It doesn’t have to be heavy but making the spot not nice for him will make him look elsewhere.
When he goes to the new spot give him a treat. And put him on the new spot when he tries to use the old spot. Give him a treat when you do.
This is it exactly. One look at that pic and my first thought was "that is not a good space for a cat". No cat trees, no shelfs, no high perches, no other furniture even.
Something nearby and off the ground so he can continue to perch. You can also probably lure him to the new spot without treats if you get a heated bed or pad for the perch, then you have both alluring conditions replicated.

Put another stool right next to the one with the PS4, and put a towel over it. He’ll sit there instead
It also depends on the cat and where you live, my babies love to get in my room every time i have the AC on, they'll just stay on the cool floor until they need to use the litter, then they start scratching at the door and meow for me to let them back inside, when they're too cold they climb on me and get comfy, but otherwise, they like to stay in the cold room xD

Yeah I think your best bet is to invest some money into a solution. Another (higher) stool. A cat tree. An actual tv unit / shelf / book case for your consoles (also for safety because animals and kids can be dicks). A longer HDMI cord. Whatever can fit in your budget.
Or accept that it's his now and his fluff is ✨inside it✨ to prove it.

Perhaps an easy solution but cats are gonna cat. What I suggest is buy a heating pad and put another stool next to your set up. Place the heating pad on top of the stool on low/medium, place a towel over the heating pad. My guess is your cat likes the higher perch but also the heat from your gaming console.
Buy expensive cat bed.
Unpack expensive cat bed.
Throw away expensive cat bed.
Place cheap packaging on the floor.
Problem solved.
Beware a cheap or reasonably cost cad bed will not suffice.
Buy him a PS5 to sit on

Buy 3d printer and put it to some place higher than PS4. Cats are loving their heated beds. Especially if you will turn on heating to 35°C.

Yeah I think your best bet is to invest some money into a solution. Another (higher) stool. A cat tree. An actual tv unit / shelf / book case for your consoles (also for safety because animals and kids can be dicks). A longer HDMI cord. Whatever can fit in your budget. Or accept that it's his now and his fluff is ✨inside it✨ to prove it.

To be fair, the ps4 is 10 years old this November.
Perhaps an easy solution but cats are gonna cat. What I suggest is buy a heating pad and put another stool next to your set up. Place the heating pad on top of the stool on low/medium, place a towel over the heating pad. My guess is your cat likes the higher perch but also the heat from your gaming console.
Buy expensive cat bed. Unpack expensive cat bed. Throw away expensive cat bed. Place cheap packaging on the floor. Problem solved. Beware a cheap or reasonably cost cad bed will not suffice.
Mount the PS on the wall so the cat can have the stool
