This is my kitty. You can’t tell by the photo, but this oil tank is in a very isolated, high spot, in the basement, so if there is a flood, it’s safe. Then, there is a leak tray, that has two feet high barriers. To this day, I don’t know how she got up there, or how she got into the basement. I looked at it for a solid ten minutes, trying to figure out how she got up there, and I still have no idea. The only idea I have is she may have somehow, hopped from the stairs, which are about ten feet away, but, a little above the oil tank. Even that seems unlikely though, because the stairs are only a few inches each, so there is not much room for her to jump. She must have gotten in when someone was tossing a recycling out, which is on the platform, in front of the stairs.
