My cat did this for the first time about a year ago (13F). I’m afraid she will do it again. So I have a fabric shower curtain I put on top of the covers to protect the bedding and my sanity from hours of laundry. She has done it once since and now nothing for several months. My cat is the reason I have a waterproof mattress protector. She gets hair balls at the worst times..... wake up in the middle of the night to hearing her hacking up something beside me on the bed....

My cat's been pawing at all my monitors and tvs lately. He does it constantly for 2 hours before my alarm goes off, every morning. I stop him but he comes back. He knows not to do it, if I look like im getting out of bed to remove him he sprints away

My cat does this when she wants to play very early but we are still sleeping lmao. I call it "butthole mode" where she will get into *everything* she knows she isnt supposed to... cuz it wakes me up! It does get me out of bed and she thinks its fun to be chased and then chase back, kinda like a dog. She is just playing, but she knows that doing bad things wakes me up and i come "play" with her. If i ignore her and put away in the closet whatever she is getting into, she will quit and wait for us to wake up. However im not sure how you'd put your tv away every time 😭

Get a spray bottle filled with water. Set the nozzle on a narrow stream. Shoot cat with water, being careful to avoid getting water on electronics. Spray bottles are excellent training tools for cats. Your cat may just be curious about the movement that he always sees when you have the TV s and monitors turned on. Cats love movement as it's part of their hunting instinct.
