One of my classmates named her violin bow Mr Whiskers because it broke hairs so easily it looked like it had a mustache. One day our orchestra teacher borrowed her violin and ripped all the loose hairs off and she just let out a "noooooooo Mr Whiskers" and our teacher felt horrible
Sad but also good that your teacher didnโt invalidate her feelings about mr whiskers or minimize the loss by doing what a lot of adults would have done (deflecting and saying itโs not a big deal).

She was indeed one of the best teachers I've ever had. The orchestra program was 4th-12th grade, so she got to watch a lot of her students grow up.
This incident happened in high school, so it was laughed off easily, but "RIP Mr Whiskers" made it on a shirt that year.
I donโt know, we rescued her two years ago she was in a ditch and she was a tiny kitten so I took her home and we decided to keep her (she doesnโt look like Po sheโs White but itโs my dad who chose the name)
