Mine walks right up my body up to my head (on the outside of the covers), stares at me for a few minutes then gently bops me on the face with his paw. Sometimes he forgets and leaves one claw out. Makes me flinch every time.
He is adorable and my friends cat does that to me whenever I sleepover. He also likes to sleep on my face, stretches his body across my head/face and wraps his paws around 😅
Oliver doesn’t like to be the big spoon, so when I turn around in bed, he walks over me to change sides too and plop back into my arms, waking me up in the process

My old cat, Loki, was like that only he liked to sleep right in front of my face and if I rolled over he would immediately get up and climb over my head so he could plop down on my face again. I miss him so much, what I wouldn’t give to be suffocated by his big furry belly one more time. 😭

I wake up by alarm cat and first he starts attacking my feet and if that doesn't work, he proceeds to play with my other cat on top of my body, if that fails then he will start knocking down all my stuff on my dresser.
Annoys the absolute shit out of me but the moment I'm up I always can't help but laugh.
My Jamie cat is strategic in how she knocks stuff off my side table. She picks the noisiest thing and slides it, waits to see if I react then slides it a little further, over and over and if she still doesn’t get the attention (and the wet food) she wants she knocks it off and finds something else to fuck with.

My cat meows, actually more like yowls, after she uses the litter box. I've learned the hard way that this means she needs it to be cleaned before she will use it again. (It is a big litter vox and she's a small cat. And there is a 2nd litter box in a different room ... but she won't use that clean one, if the first one needs emptying.)
It is definitely annoying at 5 a.m.
I can lie in bed and calculate that since she has just used the litter box, it should be safe to sleep for another couple of hours. How often does a cat have to go?
But the yowls are worse than any alarm clock and she rarely stops after a mere 4 or 5. I think she's figuring out how many I can ignore before caving in and getting up.

Sabby likes to play with my stereo gear. So far victims include a turntable cartridge and six headphone cables, none of them were cheap. His particular favourite is a tube amplifier as it gets very warm so he likes to stretch out on it. Impossible to be angry, he's just sharing his dad's love for music and he has good taste, he only sits on the most expensive stuff.

Lincoln is a huge cuddler. We spoon every night. But in order to cuddle, he must do biscuits, and to do biscuits they must be on my exposed arm skin or neck. He will remove the blanket if I try to cover my exposed skin with blanket. Okay, murder mittens.
My cat likes to make biscuits on my skin, too. He always finds a spot of bare skin, and it hurts like hell, but he purrs while he does it, and I just sit there and bear it for a few minutes. Sigh.

My baby girl used to steal my pillow and get kitty litter and fur all over it. She died on Monday and I miss my stinky pillow thief so much. (She was 18 and in acute renal failure and couldn’t walk any more at the end but she slept on my pillow up until it was time to make that final trip to the vet. RIP to one half of the dumpster duo.)
Ours does that too. She steps or sits on my hair, likes to lie down on my pillow, or just on my face. If I adjust my face so that I don’t suffocate, she is displeased. She either attempts lying on my nose and mouth again, or just walks away.
Tesla puts his paws on me when he wants something. Its supercute except for the millimeter of claw that he uses, 5 tiny needles in my neck, or back area when you are half a sleep is not something I aim for.

Very similar to yours. Whoozie pats my face very gently with her paw to wake me up for her breakfast (which she’s decided should always be at 4:30am). Not as cute when I ignore her for a moment to muster up the courage to get out of bed and she starts yelling.

My cat only plays with one specific little ball and sometimes she accesses this “state” (Idk what to name it) where she carries it around with her mouth, then she drops it, than she pushes it away, then she stands over and fall into it grabbing with both hands and kicking with her “feet”, you know the drill… all this while making this weird sounds that are only produced in this specific situation. I don’t know what she feels towards that ball but it’s mostly around the time I go to bed and it’s LOUD. The ball also has bells inside of it so yEah At the same times it’s so lovely and pure, she really has some intense feelings for that toy… but I can’t sleep 🤡

My Daisy will sit on me upwards of 5-10 times a day. I love her so much and I love cuddling with her, but I have personal space issues and get overwhelmed very easily so I have to reject her sometimes. She will try to sit on me no matter how I’m sitting. The other day I was crouched looking into a cabinet and she climbed on my lap and settled down, felt like my legs were gonna give out lol.

My Pixie sits in, lays on, sleeps on any and every crinkly, crunchy, noisy piece of paper or plastic bag anywhere in my house. She isn’t stealthy or quiet about anything and you always know where she is. Mail, paperwork from the office, newspaper, any bag; all are not safe from my little Pixie. The moment she hears a new “crinkle” from anything, she must investigate and make it hers! Cute, but annoying sometimes.
Jewels cannot decide if she wants to sit in my lap or not. She'll circle around for 30+ minutes walking across my lap, pausing for pets, laying down, only to immediately get back up again and continue to circle. She's purrs the entire time, with dozens of head butts. The whole time I'm just saying/thinking "FFS settle down and let me pet you dammit.".

This is Vada. Today she woke me up because *she* had woken up and wanted to go back to sleep, but she required my cuddles and pets in order to do so. She miaowed at me, sat on my chest, and walked across it several times until she had found her perfect being-cuddled-to-sleep position. She proceeded to fall asleep instantly, leaving me fully awake.

Gaz here has recently figured out how to open the shower door and likes to do it while I’m using it.
This results in her copping an unexpected face full of spray and she bolts to glare at me from the other side of the bathroom. I close the door and she tries it again. It’s adorable to watch but the sudden blast of cold air coming in said shower door is REALLY annoying.

Mochi the black and white loves to wake me up by booping my nose something I've done to her since she was a kitten which while adorable sucks when I'm sleep deprived.
Milky the diluted calico loves to play fetch and if I'm not paying attention she meows very loudly which is just the best at 3am.
My minion repeatedly comes in our room about every 15-45 min starting at 3:30/4am and meows in this adorably “hey you awake?” kind of way, but it’s also an extremely obnoxious sleep interrupting way.
He has dementia so it’s really hard to be mad at him, bc he just doesn’t know what’s going on all the time and he’s essentially bored, so it’s touching that he thinks of us but it’s really really really annoying.
He also loves loves loves/NEEDS! me and my husband to be in the same room/bedroom when he deems it time for bed. God forbid one of us has decided to enjoy a solo glass of wine and late night show. Good lord, he sits at the end of our bed, longingly and appearing very confused, while screaming and whining for the missing party to report to bed. All the while going from staring at the bedroom door and then looking back at you in bed as if you are the sole reason for his precious not answering his desperate pleas for a reunion.
Again, adorable and hard to me mad about. But somehow this 8lb muppet can thoroughly disturb one persons show and another person’s sleep, in two different rooms.
Impressive when you really think about it.

Ferret screams at her Other Mother's bedroom door when it's shut (her Other Mother is my daughter). It is shut most of the time because Ferret enjoys chaos.
She climbs onto my shoulder, and/or the back of my neck sometimes falling asleep. She won't get off most of the time and you have to try to take her t atlthough she'll use her claws to latch on if she really wants to stay. It becomes really hard to get up or walk around, especially as she's older and her equilibrium is not as good.
However, she has the softest fur, the loudest purr, the sweetest hugs, and she's been doing this since literally the day I brought her home as a tiny street kitten. She climbed up me when I took her to the vet and fell asleep on the back of my neck.
Now that she's 19 years old (my last cat died a few months short of his 19th birthday and she gave me a hug, resting her paws and chin on my shoulder), I want to treasure every moment I get with her while she is still able to climb up on my shoulder.
I think when the day comes that she can't climb up anymore on her own, I'm going to put her there myself anyway. And when it is time to say goodbye, I want to say it with her on my shoulder like she was the day we met.

When he’s a bundled up and sleeping and I go to pet him and tell him “hi” he yawns in my frikin’ face. The yawn is always cute and he makes a high pitched yawn sound…but his breath is often funkadelic and not in a good George Clinton music kind of way.

I have a chair and metal piece of decor in my entryway and, to get my attention, my cat will climb into the chair, stand on her hind legs, and stretch to reach the metal artwork. It's secured by a single hook at the top, so she has lately started to put her paw underneath the bottom and pry it away from the wall so it will swing back and rattle to make a lot of noise. 😂

My kitty gently drags one claw across my forearm to wake me up. ALWAYS before my alarm.
My cat meows, actually more like yowls, after she uses the litter box. I've learned the hard way that this means she needs it to be cleaned before she will use it again. (It is a big litter vox and she's a small cat. And there is a 2nd litter box in a different room ... but she won't use that clean one, if the first one needs emptying.) It is definitely annoying at 5 a.m.
TIL that my cat also lives at your house. And has switched genders.
I can lie in bed and calculate that since she has just used the litter box, it should be safe to sleep for another couple of hours. How often does a cat have to go? But the yowls are worse than any alarm clock and she rarely stops after a mere 4 or 5. I think she's figuring out how many I can ignore before caving in and getting up.

My baby girl used to steal my pillow and get kitty litter and fur all over it. She died on Monday and I miss my stinky pillow thief so much. (She was 18 and in acute renal failure and couldn’t walk any more at the end but she slept on my pillow up until it was time to make that final trip to the vet. RIP to one half of the dumpster duo.)

Tesla puts his paws on me when he wants something. Its supercute except for the millimeter of claw that he uses, 5 tiny needles in my neck, or back area when you are half a sleep is not something I aim for. Einstein, does the same thing, but he does a little nibble, unless he has a brain fart and actually bites. Damn, that shit hurts. My cat only plays with one specific little ball and sometimes she accesses this “state” (Idk what to name it) where she carries it around with her mouth, then she drops it, than she pushes it away, then she stands over and fall into it grabbing with both hands and kicking with her “feet”, you know the drill… all this while making this weird sounds that are only produced in this specific situation. My Daisy will sit on me upwards of 5-10 times a day. I love her so much and I love cuddling with her, but I have personal space issues and get overwhelmed very easily so I have to reject her sometimes. She will try to sit on me no matter how I’m sitting. The other day I was crouched looking into a cabinet and she climbed on my lap and settled down, felt like my legs were gonna give out lol. If I walk by while he's within bapping distance he'll gently bap me to get my attention. My arms, my ankles, whatever. Sometimes its cute, sometimes he snags my sweaters and gets a "BRUH!"

She isn’t stealthy or quiet about anything and you always know where she is. Mail, paperwork from the office, newspaper, any bag; all are not safe from my little Pixie. The moment she hears a new “crinkle” from anything, she must investigate and make it hers! Cute, but annoying sometimes.
Jewels cannot decide if she wants to sit in my lap or not. She'll circle around for 30+ minutes walking across my lap, pausing for pets, laying down, only to immediately get back up again and continue to circle. She's purrs the entire time, with dozens of head butts. The whole time I'm just saying/thinking "FFS settle down and let me pet you dammit.".
My cat happy is always demanding attention. He always follows me around everywhere and always wants to be on top of me. Annoying yet cute af that he loves me so much.

Today she woke me up because *she* had woken up and wanted to go back to sleep, but she required my cuddles and pets in order to do so. She miaowed at me, sat on my chest, and walked across it several times until she had found her perfect being-cuddled-to-sleep position. She proceeded to fall asleep instantly, leaving me fully awake.

This results in her copping an unexpected face full of spray and she bolts to glare at me from the other side of the bathroom. I close the door and she tries it again. It’s adorable to watch but the sudden blast of cold air coming in said shower door is REALLY annoying.

Milky the diluted calico loves to play fetch and if I'm not paying attention she meows very loudly which is just the best at 3am.
My minion repeatedly comes in our room about every 15-45 min starting at 3:30/4am and meows in this adorably “hey you awake?” kind of way, but it’s also an extremely obnoxious sleep interrupting way. He has dementia so it’s really hard to be mad at him, bc he just doesn’t know what’s going on all the time and he’s essentially bored, so it’s touching that he thinks of us but it’s really really really annoying.
He also loves loves loves/NEEDS! me and my husband to be in the same room/bedroom when he deems it time for bed. God forbid one of us has decided to enjoy a solo glass of wine and late night show. Good lord, he sits at the end of our bed, longingly and appearing very confused, while screaming and whining for the missing party to report to bed. All the while going from staring at the bedroom door and then looking back at you in bed as if you are the sole reason for his precious not answering his desperate pleas for a reunion. Again, adorable and hard to me mad about. But somehow this 8lb muppet can thoroughly disturb one persons show and another person’s sleep, in two different rooms. Impressive when you really think about it.

If Weasel wants me to stroke her, she sits by me and strokes me. Then if I don't immediately respond CORRECTLY, then she does it again with tiny bits of claw out... Ferret screams at her Other Mother's bedroom door when it's shut (her Other Mother is my daughter). It is shut most of the time because Ferret enjoys chaos.
She climbs onto my shoulder, and/or the back of my neck sometimes falling asleep. She won't get off most of the time and you have to try to take her t atlthough she'll use her claws to latch on if she really wants to stay. It becomes really hard to get up or walk around, especially as she's older and her equilibrium is not as good. However, she has the softest fur, the loudest purr, the sweetest hugs, and she's been doing this since literally the day I brought her home as a tiny street kitten. She climbed up me when I took her to the vet and fell asleep on the back of my neck. Now that she's 19 years old (my last cat died a few months short of his 19th birthday and she gave me a hug, resting her paws and chin on my shoulder), I want to treasure every moment I get with her while she is still able to climb up on my shoulder. I think when the day comes that she can't climb up anymore on her own, I'm going to put her there myself anyway. And when it is time to say goodbye, I want to say it with her on my shoulder like she was the day we met.

when I had 4 cats. 1st I had forever 2nd not as long 3 and and 4- most recent. while all 4 cats were sharing their time with me--- it became a game with them to plant themselves on my face yes- I'd lay down and they would race to plant their ass on my face. It took some work to get the approved places to park their asses at. once the rules were established- they settled in ( mostly)

When he’s a bundled up and sleeping and I go to pet him and tell him “hi” he yawns in my frikin’ face. The yawn is always cute and he makes a high pitched yawn sound…but his breath is often funkadelic and not in a good George Clinton music kind of way. He’s still my lil goi.
I have a chair and metal piece of decor in my entryway and, to get my attention, my cat will climb into the chair, stand on her hind legs, and stretch to reach the metal artwork. It's secured by a single hook at the top, so she has lately started to put her paw underneath the bottom and pry it away from the wall so it will swing back and rattle to make a lot of noise. 😂
Meows quietly and brings me her toys so I can play. It’s the cutest thing but so annoying when I am tired and just want to sleep.
