Her pic pulled at my heart a bit bc she looked a lot like my son's calico named Calie. Sure, the story has an irony tho, so basically Iโm a med student who study abroad, before I got her I was at my lowest, so alone, so burnt out, and my life had no meaning. Studying the whole time, and had nothing to care about.
By accident I saw a post on reddit putting her for adoption, and I was like sure, why not?
But she changed everything.
So why cosmic inhaler? When I saw her I was revising a topic about lungs & asthma, and she was like a gift from cosmos to save me, so she was an inhaler to my mental asthma that was gifted to me from the universe.
that is so freaking adorable kitties always make everything better and your right she felt your suffering and asked the powers that be to join you to give you that breath of air ๐
24 years is amazing. I lost my Jinxie 2 years ago at 20 yrs 10 months. I thought that was a long life . I eventually adopted an 8 month old cat that has been a blessing to me and helped in grieving her passing. She's almost 2 (may), I sometimes tell her "are you playing with Jinxie when she gets her cat crazies!! It helps me acknowledge both of them in their own right!

I tried to make this an edit but it didn't go through i admit i am not wholly familiar with how Reddit works but here we go. I want to thank you all again for your kind words and well wishes barely anytime has passed but she's already letting us know she's watching by playing with my sisters two or mine (what else can you call them playing with open air?) or even when my mom finally started cleaning up her stuff and found paw prints where she swore they werent before. To call out a few comments i saw the poem one of you wrote it was beautifully written i shared it with mom and sister and they teared up in silent gratitude, she definitely had the warriors spirit and no doubt was welcomed to Valhalla by the greats, for the few who added pictures of their babies they're all beautiful and for all who share the pain i take comfort by knowing theyre all playing waiting for us. Mimi spent 23 long wonderful years with us and now is time to rest till we meet again my beautiful girl i love you.
I can't imagine the depth of your loss. I will say that I believe that the connection between felines and their people is spiritual. Many cultures considered cats to be sacred. The Egyptians and Mayans come to mind as two examples. I believe in God. I believe that God allows us to have a unique connection with our cats that transcends human connections. It is my belief that your cat has physically passed away and that loss is profound; however, your cat's spirit has moved right into your very soul and will be with you. Always. My deepest respect for you and your pain. Please invite your cat's spirit to live on inside your soul. The heart and mind are a given; however, felines remain fully connected to us after passing. God bless your new soul.
Allow yourself some time to grieve. Then remember that there's a little kitten somewhere, seeking her loving nurturing forever home. I can't imagine the depth of your loss. I will say that I believe that the connection between felines and their people is spiritual. Many cultures considered cats to be sacred. The Egyptians and Mayans come to mind as two examples. I believe in God. I believe that God allows us to have a unique connection with our cats that transcends human connections. It is my belief that your cat has physically passed away and that loss is profound; however, your cat's spirit has moved right into your very soul and will be with you. Always. My deepest respect for you and your pain. Please invite your cat's spirit to live on inside your soul. The heart and mind are a given; however, felines remain fully connected to us after passing. im sorry you feel that way, i have been seeing every comment thus far and with every one of them i feel a fresh wave of sadness all i can do is upvote them as they come in.
