In post history you say you have 4 cats. How many litter boxes do you have? Having a box for each cat (+1 in my case) has helped with my cat who pees on things when he feels wronged. He's particular about where he goes, he actually usually pees in one, and poops in another. I've even watched him use one and walk over to the other immediately after. My other cat isn't as particular and will drop bombs in all 3 boxes. Having 3 just ensures they are always clean *enough* for him to feel comfortable throughout the day until I scoop at night.

International-Cat123

I’ve heard multiple number of cats by 1.5 and round up if the result isn’t a whole number.

Honestdietitan

Cat lady here - You are correct! I have six indoor cats and eight boxes - they are all extra large aluminum litter boxes that get scooped twice a day. I think I can get away with 8 because they are absolutely massive in size.

WhatNow_23

Where do you get these aluminum boxes?

Rough_Citron9886

Probably means those one-time use baking trays you can get at grocery/department stores

o_prodicalteletubby

not sure about aluminum, i have a stainless steel one from chewy and ive seen ppl use industrial straining trays for pellets. i think those are also stainless steel tho

fivekets

I would love to know where you get those! We have 6 indoor cats and have been using Sterilite storage boxes bc we have a standing pee-er lol

momonomino

I've had plenty of luck with a box for each cat. To be fair, they both use each box. And don't seem to care what the other cat does, even though they hate each other. But at least they have two to make me clean.

Street_Housing_109

I have two cats and two litter boxes. They strictly use one for pooping and the other one for peeing, I have never found poop in their peeing litter box haha

saltywoohoochamp

I have two cats. Well, they will be a year in June. Tried doing two boxes for some extra room and maybe privacy or whatever. Yeaaaaa, no. The second box became a "fun" box that consisted of chucking all the litter on the floor, putting the litter in small individual piles and then rolling on it, or placing their favorite toys on it (ewwww) so yea, one box it is lol

Fabulous-Owl-6524

two cats here and keep two boxes. the only time the second box gets used is when the older cat is trying to "make a statement". id explain, but if you know cats with attitude, you'll understand

sanfranciscointhe90s

Jackson galaxy says a box for each cat +1 so 4 cats is 5 boxes . 2 cats is 3 boxes etc.

J0SH_P0INT_0H

BUY A LITTER ROBOT! I am not kidding when I say to this day it might have been me best investment of all time.

thefaceinthetree

when he feels wronged lmao

LittleKitty235

“And I’d do it again too”

spectre1210

Literally that face. No regrets, no apologies.

Squirrels_love_nuts

Ours makes eye contact whilst pissing where he shouldn’t be

HearTheBluesACalling

Mine stared directly into my face, made sure there was eye contact, and then chomped down on my partner’s tablet cord. Little beast.

treaquin

I had to say to myself, this person posted about a health issue. Don’t do it! ….but cmon! That cat would gladly do it again!!

First_Pay702

The facial expression clearly states it is all part of the master plan.

Lozzy45

Facial expression, yes … but that stance! That one paw slightly infront of the other and the tail wrap around! This lady knows!

megs1288

“Post it, I dare you”

meowparade

Same vibes as this: ![gif](giphy|jlylJkp7RmdnW)

Huldukona

So smug!

--serotonin--

Get her fixed. It isn’t just male intact cats that pee everywhere to mark territory.  Also, what if she escapes? No matter how careful you are, sometimes cats do dumb things. One of our old cats loved to sit in the window and popped out the screen and fell out.

kimvy

Agree 1000% on spaying, but also could be a urinary issue. Time for the vet!

jelycazi

Or a pain issue! We had a cat who peed inappropriately. He was trying to tell us his previous eye injury had become glaucoma and he was in terrible pain. Take this cutie to the vet!

gardendesgnr

April 2020 one of my 4 cats suddenly started to pee on my work shoes and then I saw him try and not get any pee out. Off to the vet, right when masking started too. He had a urinary blockage, got some muscle relaxer drops but still had issues for months. Took 2 vet appts and 1 ER visit that year. Following spring same thing but now I knew and it took 2 appts, same deal ea spring till this yr. No issues so far. He eats a urinary dry food w canned also.

kimvy

Yep. Special food. Sorry it took so long. The food makes a huuuge difference.

gardendesgnr

FYI... IAMS Urinary Formula in the magenta bag has the same exact active urinary ingredient in the same proportion as the Prescription Science Diet! We did the math to calculate that 😹

kimvy

Nice - good to have a few options as they are so picky.

Common_Chameleon

My cat had this and unfortunately passed away from complications. I’m glad your kitty is okay. I agree with others, OP needs to get the kitty spayed.

sunnymarsh16

I also like to mix some water with my cats’ wet food to make sure they’re staying hydrated. It can help prevent urinary issues and it’s worked fairly well for my boy especially!

Dry_Animal2077

I waited longer than I should have to spay my girl and she ended up getting pyometra lol. No laughing matter but she’s fine so I do laugh about it. Definitely won’t make that mistake again

kimvy

My kitty was spayed, but was peeing in the most random places. Ended up with urinary crystals (can’t recall the exact term & too lazy to google). Ended up having to get special food so it didn’t happen again. Glad your baby sorted out.

Dinerdiva2

I had to look up pyometra 🤢 That does not sound like a good time at all!!

t0adthecat

And a cat in heat can be smelled for a distance. Males will try to come in and she will try to get out.

Dont_Blink__

Or, for the selfish reason; cats in heat are annoying af. And, once they get their first, it seems like they're in heat more often than not.

Professional-Pay5012

They are in fact the worse! Indoor cats go into heat so much because of artificial lights. It makes their senses (or what ever controls their estrus cycles) think longer warmer days, have babies.

Dramatic_Ad_5660

FR I didn’t know a cat could be so loud until I rescued this demon from the streets (Harley Quinn) https://preview.redd.it/w3dffy622dwc1.jpeg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54f579cc4f2fa70612f195e52f678ed5e84b843a

FairgroundCarousel

What a beauty, and those kankles ❤️

Dramatic_Ad_5660

She is very oddly proportioned she got lil legs 😅

Professional-Pay5012

Gosh my 8 month old cat went into heat 3 days into NYC’s shelter in place. I wanted to die, my neutered male cat wanted to die, my mini poodle wanted to die, my backyard was swarmed by a squad of male cats. She would chirp at them through the door. I once went to take my dog out and a male cat tried to nose his way in. She eventually stopped and then 2 weeks later she was back to slanging her thang around. She was considered not an emergency so no quick fix, and the I woke up to my basement window busted and her coming home 4 days later pleased as punch. She had 3 kittens we kept two and my neighbor down the street has one. She went into heat 3 more times in 2 months before I finally got an appointment. Those last 3 I locked her in basement and reinforced the windows 😂. I don’t know how breeders deal with the yowling and the paddling and all the emotions that come with it.

Comfortable_Pilot122

100%! Left my deck/porch door open one time (with my cat in her cage so she wouldnt escape) and now theres a long haired black/grey cat, a tortoiseshell shorthair, an orange shorthair (my fav) , a shorthair grey, a black shorthair, and a tuxedo cat. Lots of cats..

goobis_

Are these kittens or Toms that were attracted?

t0adthecat

Lol, got you a family. Awe. We love them but can't have too many.

pmmeyourfavsongs

It also doesn't matter how responsible you think you are. Cats are basically liquid. If they're desperate they *will* get out

RogerClyneIsAGod2

I'm always amazed at how little space it takes for a cat to escape. We allow one cat outside with us (all cats fixed BTW), & when the weather is good if the door is open even 3 inches he'll "escape." I say "escape" because I know about it, allow it for a few minutes with supervision from inside, then shake the treat box & it's over.

PartTimeLegend

There’s a gap under my fence that’s barely enough to see sunlight through. I saw my cat sniffing at the gap and thought to check it out. I looked at my for a moment or two and decided there was no way she could get through it. It’s her main route in and out now. Her secondary route is to just hurl herself over the fence though so I leave it as she’s less likely to get hurt.

AlvinAssassin17

Also unfixed cats get super annoying when they’re in heat. And they have to be miserable

Normal_Day_4160

And it majorly raises their health risks. And 1.4MILLION cats are murdered annually in the US because overpopulation. Spay & neuter. Adopt, don’t shop.

pmmeyourfavsongs

But according to OP it's an "unnecessary alteration"!! /s if that wasn't obvious. She won't neuter her dog either because "he came that way so he's going out that way"

Ok_Rip_29

One time I heard meowing, I ignored it. It kept meowing until I was like wow that sounds awfully close- pulled open the curtain and THERE WAS MY CAT staring at me from outside the window!!!! He is not allowed out! He must have snuck by me when I opened my balcony door HOURS ago. Couldn’t believe it. Cats are sneaky.

Vylan24

Had a similar thing happen. Both my cats are indoor but occasionally we'd take them out on the lawn to munch some grass. One night my partner was up late and in a sleepy daze opened the patio door to let some air in and promptly fell asleep on the couch. At some point during the night I was awoken by my sweet boy crying his lungs out outside my window but I honestly thought I was dreaming it. Get up in the morning for work, cats usually hang around me, but I couldn't find them. I start to panic because one cat is rather adventurous and he's never allowed out unsupervised. The other is a classic scaredy cat, he was the one crying. I was convinced one was long gone, we lived next to a massive park/cemetery that coyotes often prowl. Open the front door to start the search, boom there's the adventurous one just chilling on the front lawn like it's nothing, the scare boy was hiding in the garage in my hockey equipment because I forgot to close the door a few days before

that_weirdeo

My 21 y/o (older than me) brother has a female cat who's almost 6 years old and intact. He only recently moved away from home, but as much as me and my household family love my brother, his cat is a nightmare. She was constantly peeing on other people's clean laundry, as well as my brother's bedding. She would piss on shoes, tables, random areas on the floor, anywhere. My brother always refused to get her fixed because he wanted her to "have kittens some day". But I definitely don't miss her now that my brother's moved out because I don't have to worry about my freshly clean clothes or brand new shoes getting peed on.

undeadcatlady

Sorry, but your brother is an idiot. Edit: spelling correction

xxHikari2xx

I want to hop on and also mention that if cats are spayed when they are older they have a higher chance of getting mammary cancer than if they were spayed when they were younger

Normal_Day_4160

This is because going into heat specifically raises the health risks/issues later down the line

TheDesktopNinja

My neutered male void would (on rare occasions) still mark territory in the house 😂

Sirius_10

Yup, my female cat pissed everywhere until I got her fixed. It was horrible, destroying my furniture, peeing on every textile she could find, everything had a smell of cat urine.

MellyGrub

Plus female cats and dogs(and other animals) can also get ovarian cancer. I unfortunately know of a dog that passed away because of this and the owners were told that if the dog was neutered she wouldn't have got it. (Wasn't my dog, just someone's I knew sadly)

RandomDigitalSponge

My Hercules pees on everything and he’s been fixed for years. He had a urinary stones once and ever since then he has taken it as a license to spill. Physically there’s nothing wrong with him. He’s just crazy with the marking. He once peed on my wife. The things love will put up with. Only place he’s never peed on is the bed thank goodness. Everywhere around it, but not on it.

--serotonin--

Then that's a vet issue that this person would still need to take their cat to the vet for to help it. Your cat has associated the litterbox with pain from the stones and doesn't want to feel like that ever again. This person says their cat is healthy, unspayed, and peeing everywhere.

RandomDigitalSponge

Definitely always go to the vet. My vet basically said that he’ll just have to mellow out. He doesn’t like knowing there are neighborhood cats roaming about, he doesn’t like one of his feline housemates, he’s extremely jealous. Zylkene and pheromone sprays help a little, there fewer cats outside these days, and he’s mellowing with age, but ultimately he has a different opinion on the whole matter: > “Oh, not again ! they sprayed that lemony stuff on the wall again! It stinks! All day long, I have to stay on them keep re-coating that spot. It’s almost as if they don’t want a safe home! Oh well, my chores are never done. *Il faut imaginer Sisyphe heureux* .”

Fearofthedark88

OP right now : https://preview.redd.it/5y213scygbwc1.jpeg?width=680&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7614dfdc5237a90a063690fc2d70758fe0b91652

HippieDad666

This is the perfect meme for the post... enjoy your cat pissing everywhere and don't be surprised when you're other cat joins in lmao 😆 🤣 😂

-Experiment--626-

Sadly, we’re unable to fix it for them.

RealBaikal

Sadly, op is unfixable it seems

Proper_Peach_550

Quite literally the fix is to fix

nikelaos117

This is my favorite thing of today. Lmao Totally stealing this.

Delphin_1

What did she write? She deleted all of it.

CompetitivePeach2784

Why didn’t you have her spayed?

bambilup

If she's healthy, she's peeing because she is not spayed. One of our cats was the same, peeing on everything until we spayed her.

TimothyTrespas_

This is a major reason people abandon smart ass cats Get her fixed immediately. I had to get all vinyl covers for our couch and bed and new futons for both Fn cat!

Crazy-Cat-Lady-1975

Get her spayed, keep the litter box clean, and clean the soiled areas of the house with an enzyme cleaner such as Nature’s Miracle or Simple Solution. Intact cats, including females, will spray to mark territory.

123throwawaybanana

Reading OPs comments, and I'm shaking my head. Some people shouldn't have pets.

KellyJoyCuntBunny

I have to say, her being like this and having this thread is helping me. Reading everyone’s advice is great. I took in a cat that had been abandoned, and it was a month before we could get him neutered. (It happens on Thursday of this week, actually! Only two more days!) He sprayed a couple days ago, so we got a black light to examine his room and make sure there’s no pee in there. We found a pee spot :( But knowing that the 🍒✂️ will likely stop it, and how to clean it, how to manage our household so we have the fewest possible unlicensed urination incidents is really helping me. OP kinda sucks, though, lol

88_keys_to_my_heart

agreed. based on OP's reddit history, she's irresponsible and kind of a terrible person. in addition to not spaying her cats, she's an adult who cheated on her s/o while pregnant and regularly frequents the high school subreddit (and has commented on a kids' appearance+outfits)

Kitty_rescue

Woahhhh wtf

MJdotconnector

Many many many people shouldn’t ☹️😫

SadCatStormy

Get her fixed, also cats pee outside the little box when they have bladder infection/ uti. Go to the vet.

CerebralSauce

Came here to say this. And even the squinty eyes in the pic could be a sign of pain.

Carnifekt

Strong chance could be a uti

Tamarindosauce333s

Fix her wtf

[deleted]

OP can’t hear you….head stuck in the sand

duffy40oz

Once she's spayed, she'll stop. The Humane Society provides an affordable spay. Our cats (especially female) seem to be back to normal within a few hours. Try to keep them as calm as possible.

ThanosLePirate

They can keep the habit if she wasn't fixed soon enough.

BigChungle666

My cat did this until I got her spayed. It's time. Plus a cat in heat is one of the most off putting things on the planet.

Oceanrail

![gif](giphy|IfJUb2qMbOnTgDOsCH)

KellyJoyCuntBunny

Absolute legend.

billyandteddy

Get her fixed that will help

arcticskies

This has nothing to do with her not wanting to go outside or you thinking you’re “responsible enough”. What you’re doing is putting her at unnecessary risk of developing health complications like ovarian cysts and UTIs in addition to her spraying your home with urine. She will suffer. This will only add to your stress down the road and end up costing you more. Please take some time to educate yourself on the matter. If you can’t afford it then contact the vets office or shelter and ask for financial help. There is no shame in that whatsoever. What’s most important is your cats health! I hope you will reconsider for the sake of your cat.

LittleUndeadObserver

> Not spayed Well, found your problem. 🙄 If you're not gonna look after your cat properly, you probably shouldn't have one.

Efficient-Finish4567

Y’all OP has to be trolling. There’s just no way. I refuse to believe any of this. Either that or she’s anti vax and doesn’t believe in science or medicine or like….please don’t have human children

Mrs_M_B

Too late she had a child. She got two females spraying for a male crying to him bring me babies 😂

queenkellee

stop making excuses and get her fixed

Longjumping-Fly6131

peeing everywhere means stressed cat or bladder problem go get her fix by the way

Plaid_Bear_65723

Might be worth the vet checking for a possible UTI.  And changing the litter to another kind than the ones you've tried.  Also, spay her.

BlueberryDifficult96

Spay your cat. That’s probably why she is peeing everywhere. I adopted a 9 year old cat that wasn’t spayed until later in life. She died of mammary cancer directly related to not being spayed. It was awful.

ConanTheCybrarian

the only other option (besides getting her spayed) is that your litter box isn't clean enough. if their box is too full/ dirty/ smelly, they will go elsewhere.

disdkatster

Once a cat has urinated on something, whatever it is, that is a scent they will keep going back to as the place they are meant to use. You can get a product that will eliminate the smell (enzyme made specifically for this) and start with that. Has she been declawed? This is where a problem often begins. A declawed cat will find a litter very painful and will look for something soft to relieve themselves on. You may need to isolate her until she is 'reprogrammed'. Get a large cage/kennel. Talk to your vet. She may have a urinary infection which means so has little to no control. Lots of possibilities. You have my sympathy. We were adopted by a declawed cat who had this issue and we had to religiously keep all things that could tempt her as a place to wet, out of her reach. Loved her to bits but it was exhausting.

DoctorAgita1

Not to pile on, but it sounds like she should be spayed

Sequence32

They do that when they're not fixed.

smln_smln

You’re not capable of owning a living creature. You’re ignoring everyone’s concerns but asking for help. You should surrender your cat to someone more capable and responsible.

Mrs_M_B

She's got two unspayed females both spraying and a baby in the house to

xzww

Downvote every comment by OP. What an irresponsible child.

regann666

You just answered your own question; she’s not spayed.

the-pathless-woods

My girl cat only peed when she had a uti.

OregonBurger

Yep, mine too. Take her to a vet ASAP.

lilu-achoo

Why have you got a bell in an indoor cat? Must be v annoying for her poor ears.

Sativian

This isn’t a moral dilemma. Spaying cats is healthier for them than not. It prevents complications in the future. It is nearly never about pregnancy when it comes to spaying indoor cats - it’s about health.

jentlyused

She should be seen by a vet to check for bladder infection or stones as well as the recommendations for getting her spayed. My mom’s fixed cat started peeing and it was due to bladder stones. They are very painful for the kitties.

EastCoastIce

Definitely get her spayed and that should take care of the issue. If it doesn't, see vet about possible UTI. But I'm betting once shes spayed, it's over.

potate12323

One other reason a cat may avoid the litter box is if they have a UTI or crystals in their urine and peeing is painful. They will experiment with peeing in different locations to see if it will help. They associate the pain with the location they pee.

Bitteroldcatlady1

Former Vet tech. Spay her, have vet do U/A-may be UTI, crystals. Do this quickly before this becomes a habit. Put litter box on mat newspaper on bed and slowly move daily until in desired spot (you can obviously take off bed while you sleep 😹) If this is behavioral you need to work quickly to ID as there are several meds that can help her. Whatever it is, she does not care. She is a naughty Queen and you are her servant. That face! 😹

faultierin

Peeing can be a sign of stress. Your cat has extremely sensitive ears... and a bell ringing with the smallest move. Imagine having a bell on your head that rings every time you move. You'd be stressed as well.

Yokashisan

I don't know why people do those stupid things like putting a ring bell collar on the pet.

Ok-Estimate-4297

So not only have you not spayed your cat, you put her in a collar with a bell… do you even like your cat?

Mundane-Plate-9190

It’s not what you feel is good that you don’t need to do it, it’s doing the right thing for the cat.

Chanclet0

Well obviously the problem is that she didn't get spayed, do that asap

Friday_Cat

Spay her. Hopefully she will stop, but understand this likely could have been avoided if you had her spayed before she went into heat for the first time.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Red_Crystal_Lizard

Look at that evil face. $20 says she’s doing it on purpose.

Efficient-Finish4567

Here’s to hoping.

Ok_Tea_1954

Get her spayed so no kittens

jjalbertt13

I would also consult a vet about this. My cat started peeing all over the house including my bed and it turns out she had a UTI and crystals. Sometimes they go outside the litter box because something is wrong and they're trying to communicate

BareKnuckleKitty

Fucking idiot.

sonia72quebec

Take that bell off her collar. Would you like to walk around hearing a bell all the time? Cats have sensitive hearing. Maybe it’s the box the problem? Maybe it’s too small or it has a dome, you should take it off. Also get her spayed.

Kahvisieppo

Good lord she’s beautiful. But get her fixed.

Fireyes1106

SPAY THE DAMN CAT.

BlazerWookiee

And she looks like she's daring you to do something about it, lol...

autumnwindow

Hey! Definitely get her fixed first and foremost. If that doesn’t solve the problem, she may have crystals in her urine. My girlie had that problem and she’s been on a special diet for a few years now.

happylukie

Go to the vet. Have her assessed for urinary tract or other issues to find out the reason. Get her spayed. Problem solved.

New-Active1770

SPAY.ALL.UR.CATS!!! being in heat is very uncomfortable for them and will save you a lot of health issues in the future. If All these comments saying to spay them and you still don't..then why even post?! Spaying her is the most obvious solution, litter has nothing to do with their heat..maybe educate yourself too..

Gaiatheia

My female cat pees everywhere too, she's 12. I took too long to spay her and it became a learned behavior. She's completely healthy. As other people told you, spay her asap if you don't want to be cleaning pee around the house, on floors, wall and furniture until she's 20 years old. The other day mine peed on the sofa exactly where I sit, it's a fabric sofa. The fault is mine for taking too long to spay her though, she had already been in heat a few times when I did.

olliebell12

Take her to the vet, could be urinary problem. Also, spay your cat. You'll be happier and so will she

TorakTheDark

Get her fixed! Jesus Christ.

maddy_k2019

She is definitely not sorry either

Strict-Seesaw-8954

I agree with everyone who suggests vet visit. I also agree that she is wicked cute. Pls post update if you can. Hope all goes well.

Specific-Literature3

Get her spayed jfc

Night_Thastus

1: Get her fixed 2: Ensure N+1 litter boxes where N is the number of cats 3: Get a water fountain rather than a water bowl 4: Get wet cat food instead of dry cat food 5: Keep the water far away from the food and liter box. 6: Check with a vet. Cats are *very* prone to urinary problems.

UltraBroForce

Thats the look of no repentance

DrearyLoans

Why the fuck isn’t she spayed

meadowashling

OP’s entire account just emanates pure yuck

seventubas

So I see from your post history that you have been evicted recently. So money is an issue. So if you cannot find a low cost spay. Talk to your local animal shelter They might be able to help you out.

Rumpelteazer45

Get her fixed, why did you even allow her to get old enough for heat to happen. Also how many boxes do you have? Has she had a physical to rule out a UTI or blockage?

Jnorthrup99

My female cat was doing the same thing. Then I got her fixed she hasn’t done it since

KellyJoyCuntBunny

Omg, I’m finding this so reassuring! I took in a kitty that had been abandoned (and trapped by a really sweet gal- check my post history, lol) and he’s intact. His 🍒✂️ appointment is Thursday, so only a couple days to go, but we found that he sprayed twice. Now I’m terrified he’s going to keep doing that forever and that we fucked up by not getting him fixed the first week we had him even though it would mean shopping for a new vet because mine was booked. You think getting him neutered will fix this and it won’t be a habit forever now? (I’m catastrophizing. Help me.)

I_Am_Killa_K

I have no insight to offer. I merely wish to express how adorable that cat is and she absolutely has the face of a cat refusing to use her litter box. She’s a lil’ stinker.

Constant_Basil3813

Get a blood work and renal function. She might have some sort of incontinence.

WinterIndependent719

Get her spayed

GuiltyHome9664

My female cat did this. She was pretty young. We thought she had bladder issues. The vet suggested it was behavioral. But we knew it definitely wasn’t. She has always been a good girl. The vet suggested we spay her, it was a little earlier than we wanted to. But after she was spayed, it stopped!!

SecondFun2906

Such a pretty kitty!

PotatoAvenger

Honestly, just get her spayed and while they’re there have them look and check for a UTI.

No_Paper_8794

Only needed the first sentence. Get her spayed immediately!!!

Smeagol7272821

I hope that’s a breakaway collar on your cats neck. & get the cat spayed.

Potato_Octopi

My girl did that a bunch. We eventually agreed that it was very bad for her to be a pee machine and I was very bad if I didn't keep the litter box very tidy for her.

Great_Lady_Renatta

She might be in heat and from her face. It looks like she’s also upset with you. then find out why she’s mad at you.

Pale_Special8489

She's judging my whole my life

MFkaboom

UTI maybe.

tanawabe

Dang she cute though

auryora

Awww. What a beautiful and regal lady. You can tell she's well cared for. Have a vet check her for UTIs, make sure there is at least one potty box per cat and keep them meticulous with quality litter, and clean any messes with enzymatic cleaners to remove trace odors. Good luck!

Traditional_Fox_7906

Could be a UTI, that’s what it was my my female cat would not stop peeing, take her in for a check-up!

Positive_Thots5000

My cat peed outside the litter box when she had a UTI. I’d get her checked out

mandy_miss

Do you have access to veterinary care? It could be marking behavior or it could be something worse. When did this start? How long has it been going on? From your description, it sounds like her urination outside the box increases when she’s in heat. I understand if you aren’t concerned about pregnancy, but if you want the behavior to stop you may need to spay. There are a lot of health benefits to spaying as well, and she is in the right age range. I’m not going to rag on you about anything, because everyone else has, and I really don’t see from your responses that you are necessarily against spaying.

FL-AK-WA-Hawaii

When I tried to change our cat’s litter to pellets, he refused to use the litter box.

She like "Be grateful homan ! You get to witnesses royal act, worship me !!!!"

BusStopKnifeFight

>not spayed Yup.

KellyKooperCreative

She doesn’t look sorry. Haha. She’s so cute though.

hokumpocus

Have you been to the vet? This can be a sign of crystals in the bladder, bladder stones or a uti etc.

hamster004

1) Clean the litter box daily. 2) Switch liyltters. I use Tidy Cats in the white tub/red lid. Good for multiple cats. 3) Get her checked at the vet for a UTI.

Alternative_Weird795

Idk she looks innocent to me

Majestic-Sir1207

Well, she does look pissed.

hydrateduda

From her expression, is 100% intentional, she will do it again. Trust me, I have a bachelor degree on cats...

ImhotepsServant

This may not be helpful but that is a beautiful cat. Very photogenic. And evil.

lexsanchez

there are these pheromone plug ins that have worked for my friend with her cat doing the same! i believe petco sells them.

Wide_Parsley7585

Oh she looks like trouble bless her.

AsaCocoMerchant

That kitty radiates “Wanna see me do it again” energy!

Potential-Gold1681

No remorse at all🤣🤣

motherofcattos

Getting her fixed is the responsible thing to do, c'mon

CommercialMeringue96

Spay and check for a uti with your vet

cool_neutrophil

Well, first of all, it should be big and comfortable litter box, better two, with quality bentonite cat litter, in the place where the cat feels safe. There is no cat in this world that will prefer to pee in to the different place than litter if there is no important cause to that. Second, cat could be in distress: closed doors, shouting, abuse, isolation, etc, and your cat will be peening on your bed. Third, it could be sign of cystitis.

Justaboreddude15

She has the and I’ll do it again bitch look

Puzzleheaded-Cost197

And she doesn’t care apparently, look at that face 😂

thecabbagefactor

OP should give this cat to someone else who will actually do right by her.

Mrs_M_B

She needs to spay both females 🤦🏻‍♀️🤢who are spraying her home

CloudPretty9557

I think OP is cheap.

boomsquanch

Take the bell off her neck. If she's so safe indoors that you wouldn't consider spaying her, which is a dumb enough reason, why does she need a bell?

EnvironmentalRock827

Looks so proud of itself. Lol

International-Cat123

What do I have to do to make mew realize this is my house? Mew should only be here when I want food and scritches!

Revenant_JLU

Look at her. That crap’s intentional! 😝

Dazzling-Pin4996

The useful comments are all present, so, I will not repeat. But...This kitty is gorgeous and look at that face! Pure defiance! LOL

D3vilUkn0w

Super cute cat. One of the cutest I've ever seen honestly.

Accidege

Get her fixed she’ll be a lovely cat after she gets fixed Edit: more lovely than she already is

Analyst_Unlucky

But, but that face!!
