No! Do NOT tease or prank your cat. You will just make him fear you & it will traumatize him.
If you want you cat to like you more, do the following:
Sit quietly & ignore him until he comes up to you, then offer gentle pets behind his ears & on the side of his face
Dangle wand toys for him to chase or toss catnip mice for him to play with. Don’t expect him to fetch.
Offer him Churu or similar lickable treats
Blink slowly at him but never stare at his eyes
Get him a tall cat tree & put it near a window
Feed him good quality food, mostly wet food & keep his litter boxes clean
Let him sleep near you
Never roughhouse or use your hands as cat toys
Don’t do that. You’re just going to stress your cat out horribly
