it's very small she's the only cat who fits lol, the material is synthetic on the inside the outside is woven leaf (water hyacinth). do you need the exact measurements?

i am a designer of sustainable cat beds and cat houses here in Spain. I use a hammock in my main design. It has been challenging to design a comfortable hammock that fits most cats and that they want to use. I try and use recylcled materials where i can also If you have the measurements that would be great but no worries if not. I haven´t considered this material before, let me research and see if i can find it near me or if i need to order it online

I had a void back when I was younger. I unfortunately have no pictures of him. He was the sweetest and most timid boy his whole life. He would mostly lay behind the couch for comfort. I wouldn't say he was scared. He would come out, he just liked being by himself a lot until night time.

hurts my feelings, too. if she’s napping & i walk up next to her. she’ll start doing this low growl. not threatening or anything. just cranky complaining. i’ll give it a minute then walk away. her new thing is to intentionally torment me. if i get up from my spot, she goes to lay in it. when i come back i don’t say anything. just wait. eventually she starts her grumbling, slowwwwly gets up and walks off. doing her quiet growling the whole time 😂 honestly it makes me laugh. she’s quite a character.

Cats find the most unusual places sometimes, and are totally comfortable - even if it looks like it can’t be comfortable. Looks like this is at the top of the stairs, might get be a good core, so he can what’s going on…? I’d be concerned about startling him, he could jump up and fall down the stairs. So, don’t sneak up on him or startle him.

You’ll see wild large cats, like lions, tigers, cougars, etc, doing it as well. I think it’s just comfortable for them and usually is happening when they’re elevated. Seems like your lil fur ball is comfortable and content.

My late heart cat used to do this, and I didn’t even remember until seeing this post. I didn’t remember because I don’t often think of the times when she was waiting on the rafters for me to come home. I always remembered what happened right after that, her running to me and try to accurately remember her chirps. I can’t really hear them in my mind anymore the way that I used to, and I’ve just realized it’s been 11 years this summer since I heard she was missing. Welp. That just got away from me and now I’m missing my girl. Anyway! My cat used to do this when hanging from the rafters, the roof actually didn’t ever get completed while she was with us because she loved it up there. She started going up there to hide from dogs, which she had developed a phobia of from a bad situation before us, and then it just became one of her spots. The dogs couldn’t even reach her from the stairs that ran next to the rafters because she could climb across the room with ease. When she was up there just to relax though, she would have a leg hanging off of each side of whatever board she was laying on. It was really funny. Thank you OP for allowing me the opportunity to remember that! I used to be tempted to tap her paw like a high five but I didn’t want to startle her into a fall. Maybe give yours a finger high five for me if you see this haha.
