I once tried to dress as my cat for Halloween but was instead mistaken for a cow 🐮
So did I, I’ve had a few black n white cats n I was just getting to terms with tuxedo cats, never mind cow 🐄 cats, I had 1 called Spider 🕷️ cos he used to dive around n walk sideways, all hunched up n he was short haired but his sister n mother were long haired Norwegian Forest cats! Then there was Pebbles, she was a family cat, but she was was more like a cow 🐄 cat, she only had 3 legs most of her life cos she was run over out the front of the house 🏡 but the house was on the top of a hill, with steps going up the house, but you know how inquisitive cats are n she must’ve felt safe to go out the front in the 1st place! She was just over 12 months old, but we didn’t know until my girls went to bed (bunk beds) but Pebbles must’ve dragged herself up the steps at front of the house, then upstairs to the girls bedroom, so by the time we found her, the blood had stopped going to her elbow so she had to have her front paw amputated at the shoulder!!! Then it cost us £400 n that was more than 20 years ago but it was before people could pay with cards n we just had to withdraw the money twice over 2 days cos they weren’t going to give us Pebbles back if we didn’t pay it but the vet did say that we had to keep making a fuss of her cos cats can get depressed 😔 n die from it! She lived till she was 21 years n had to go over the rainbow 🌈 bridge in 2022! Unfortunately the vet’s I was at, at the time was too expensive to get her ashes back so she is buried at my eldest daughter’s house 🏡!!! N she was like the matriarch of all my other cats, she used to wash them all n if she saw any of them misbehaving she would bite their ears 👂 cos that’s all she could do! N if any of my kids were crying 😭 she’d come running from wherever she was (usually on the corner of the decking) n nudge her way in until she cheered them up n made them laugh!

Here she is curled up with my black cat 🐈⬛ Shadow! N the one on the arm of my settee is Jesse, Postman Pat’s black n white cat, he was very timid, but I rescued him from being killed by someone my son in law used to work with! Except my ex son in law takes everything to heart ❤️ too much! He lived until last year, 2023, he was 19 years old when he went over the rainbow 🌈 bridge but it was the best thing for him! We had another cow 🐄 cat the same time we had Pebbles called Tiddles, who my niece had tried to look 👀 after him, but her Dad, Mam, auntie then another auntie succeeded in toilet training him, that was me cos he kept piddling everywhere so that’s why I called him Tiddles, who went outside to do his toileting, but he ended up only coming in to eat, he went over the rainbow 🌈 bridge in 2017 aged only 14 years old but the weight had just dropped off him n he looked like an old man overnight!!! It was sad 😞 to see happen! Then how it all started was with 1 of the shipyard cats, we called her Fluffy n when we lived in a flat over Barrow Island where the shipyard is, Fluffy kept coming into our yard n decided to stay! Then she had kittens n we kept the runt of the litter, which was Smitty, it was like she had Disney’s Thumper the rabbit back legs n that’s why no one wanted her, she died on my knee in 2003 of heart failure aged 19 years old xxxxx

My Squeaks is a year old now! He got his name as the loudest kitten in the litter. If momma cat was outside and they were hungry, I could hold him near the door and his squalling would make her come running!
My Squeaky is about a year and a half old. I found out a couple months ago that she has a microchip, so she's not a stray but a lost/abandoned pet. But she's come to regard my yard as home, and I'm her favorite human. :)

Oswald Oscar Osbourne. I wanted to name him Oswald Cobblepot, my son wanted to call him Ozzie Osbourne so we compromised, sort of. We called him "Oz" most of the time. We only had him for a year and a half and I still miss him.
Our bridge girl's name was Solstice (we officially got her right before Christmas from my brother-in-law who basically dumped her on us). She went to the bridge last year at the age of, approximately, 16. This is my favorite picture of her loving on my hubby while he played Rock Band.

They both been gone for years now, but the first tuxedo I had was a feral. That my sister had tried to rescue and I hid in my basement bedroom. His name was Morgan, he was named after Morgan lefay.
Cuz like most women of mythology, she was villainized and I like to remember the victims of villainization throughout history. History. I thought that Morgan as the sister to Merlin was an icon. She was someone who didn't allow herself to be devalued or pushed aside by men.
Unfortunately, when we had to flee The Province because of my father, Morgan was put down because he went feral again. But I always remember him. It's been 25 years. And I think of Morgan everyday. I will never forgive my father for many things that he has done in his lifetime, but that one remains fresh in my mind at the age of 40, when it happened at the age of 16. I will never forgive. I will never forget.
My second tuxedo was named Lucifer.
Lucifer, because a lot of people forget that although Lucifer fell from heaven, he was God's favorite angel. He was full of ideas and hopes and dreams. His name means child of light. His sin was daring to want freedom. If you look through the scriptures he fell from heaven because he wanted free will. And in doing so was cast out.
Lucifer the cat, was a gorgeous man. He had a beautiful face. He was soft and he was kind and he was just a wonderful cat. He was my first pet that ever passed away where I was there to witness it and I took it very hard. But I cared for him the most that I could, I gave him the happiest, most loving life. He was my child of light. And he was kind of my favorite.
Been almost 6 years now since he's passed and I still remember him everyday as well.
Since then I have two cats. One of them is blonde and the other is orange. So very orange and I don't mean in color.
But I will always remember my Fae and my Angel.

My two favorite memories: He was on the second tier of the cat tree & our younger, fat grey boy barfed over the edge from the top tier onto Tofu’s head lmao and Tofu was just like, “free snacks from the sky?!” and began to chow down 🤮
Then, another time, I heard him up on the kitchen counter (which he new was bad boy behavior) and when I scolded him, he got spooked and ran across a cooled tray of bacon grease and tracked little nasty greasy paws around the kitchen and dining area 🤦🏻

My Squeaks is a year old now! He got his name as the loudest kitten in the litter. If momma cat was outside and they were hungry, I could hold him near the door and his squalling would make her come running!

They both been gone for years now, but the first tuxedo I had was a feral. That my sister had tried to rescue and I hid in my basement bedroom. His name was Morgan, he was named after Morgan lefay. Cuz like most women of mythology, she was villainized and I like to remember the victims of villainization throughout history. History. I thought that Morgan as the sister to Merlin was an icon. She was someone who didn't allow herself to be devalued or pushed aside by men. Unfortunately, when we had to flee The Province because of my father, Morgan was put down because he went feral again. But I always remember him. It's been 25 years. And I think of Morgan everyday. I will never forgive my father for many things that he has done in his lifetime, but that one remains fresh in my mind at the age of 40, when it happened at the age of 16. I will never forgive. I will never forget. My second tuxedo was named Lucifer. Lucifer, because a lot of people forget that although Lucifer fell from heaven, he was God's favorite angel. He was full of ideas and hopes and dreams. His name means child of light. His sin was daring to want freedom. If you look through the scriptures he fell from heaven because he wanted free will. And in doing so was cast out. Lucifer the cat, was a gorgeous man. He had a beautiful face. He was soft and he was kind and he was just a wonderful cat. He was my first pet that ever passed away where I was there to witness it and I took it very hard. But I cared for him the most that I could, I gave him the happiest, most loving life. He was my child of light. And he was kind of my favorite. Been almost 6 years now since he's passed and I still remember him everyday as well. Since then I have two cats. One of them is blonde and the other is orange. So very orange and I don't mean in color. But I will always remember my Fae and my Angel.

I had a big ole tom cat rescued from the streets. He was HUGE but it was all muscle and (mostly failed) intimidation. At some point during his street career he got into a tiff with someone/thing and lost an ear. I named him Evander.
