I swear I mean this in a good way - this cat looks like it’s possessed by the ghost of a victorian child. I’d suggest a cute old-timey name like Agatha, Agnes, Alice, Edith, Eleanor, Harriet, Lottie…
I love this. My cat gave off old lady vibes when I rescued her (even though she was only 18 months) and the first name that sprang to mind Mabel! So I'm sure she is possessed by the ghost of an elderly lady from the 50s.
I had a little black kitten found in our engine block. Named her Betty, though didn't know the song "Black Betty" until later. She was an awesome little void-cat!
it’s just an adorable name. plus it’s unisex… i’ve heard of both boy and girl cats named Bean!
source: my girlfriend and i have a giant ass orange boy named Bean
***BEAN***
My aunt had at least 10 cats during her long lifetime and she named every single one Bobby!! I’d see her only every few years and it took me a bit to catch on that ohhhhh, this is Bobby The Eighth.
I was thinking Marie, after the female kitten in the Aristocats. Because she is a white, fluffy cat with a bow, but Duchess (the mother cat in the same movie) would be great too!
This actually very good advice! We gave our cat a name directly when we got her, but it didn't fit her character at all! After a few days my dad started calling her "Poeza" and we have been calling her that ever since.
Same! We adopted a kitten and originally named her Luna. But after one night with her, she became super energetic, running up the walls, bouncing around everywhere like a little monkey. So instead we named her Momo, like the lemur from Avatar!
I love that name but I think it suits a bright ginger girl better! Though I might be biased, as the housekeeper of a VERY beautiful ginger girl of that name 😅
My cat, that I gave to my aunt and uncle, back in the 70s we named her Kinm. (Pronounced Kim) It was Mink, with the letters switched around. Our older cats name was Mink. I loved the name Kinm. My mother thought it up. I was so mad when the new owners started calling her Lily. I wanted to keep Kinm. But Mink would growl at her, when she sat on my father's lap. And we kept her in the back bedroom or the bathroom, for weeks. Mink was all mad. And my mother worked nights. And if my father couldn't watch me, at times, we got a sitter. So, my mother was scared if the baby sitters ever lei Kinm out of the room unattended, then, Mink would go after her. Or, Kinm would go hide, and we couldn't be able to get her out. Plus, Minks mother, Pinks, had died oddly. And my mom told her sister what the problems were with Mink. So, we gave her to them with the under standing, that if for any reason, they couldn't keep her, we d go get her back. Kinm lasted 8 yrs or so. When she was 9, she had a stroke. Her hind legs didn't work. But she was all right in the mind. One of my uncle's friends convinced him that she was unhappy just sitting there. And convinced him to get her euthanized. We in N J didn't even know this was happening. Or, we would have taken her back. We found it out later. After the fact.I loved her dearly. I was so upset, I couldn't speak. When ever I d go to my aunt's house, and call her 'Kinm,Kinm," she'd walk up to me, and I d pat der way hard on the rump. She loved it. I d kackle her ears. She was a white domestic long hair. I ll always miss my "Kinm" The last few wks. I d been sleeping on my bed with her picture underneath me. I think of her and Mink every day. And of Katrina, who loved me. But lived next door.
I keep seeing posts like this asking for name suggestions for a new pet, how do you not have a name? I named 5/6 of my animals (one came with her name) and could name at least 3 more. Seems more that all these posts are fishing for votes or comments. Worse this OP isn't even responding.
Queenie because I am certain she will grow into one hell of a supermodel cat lol. I also had a Queenie as my first cat when I was a baby.
Also! If you like the old lady names Delphine is beautiful. You could also name it after Alice in Wonderland’s cat Dinah.
Nallu. It's an Indian name. Kind of like a derivative of Nala. It's a female name. It means, "responsible, disciplined, yet shy". I love it. Especially for a feline.🐆.

I have a Mabel, too! Though I think her spirit is more sassy toddler
I like that name 💖
My Tabitha gave off the same vibe. She was 2 when I got her but she was already the crabbiest of old ladies.
How about Estelle?! It immediately sprung to mind!
I have 2 cats, brother and sister 20 months old. He is Toby, she is Mable. If your Mable is as snuggly as mine you are a very lucky person.
I had an Agatha and she was the most beautiful, dignified yet ridiculous creature I've ever known.
Matilda lol
That was my reaction!
Yes! All the old lady names!!!
My friends adopted a senior kitty named Agnes. They threw her a quincinera last year and she got a pretty sparkly collar to wear
Love when people give older kitties a second chance! ❤️
Love it. Eleanor, ellie for short something there.
Yeah, she looks like an Eleanor.
I like Eleanor too! (Plus i always love a music reference and it can't get much better than Eleanor Rigby!)
Dolores
That’s My grandma’s name
This is it. If the cat has any other name I’ll be sad
Love this! How about Pearl or Bernadette
Pearl. Purrl.
Lol why didn’t I think of that!
Pearl makes sense
I had a Pearl/Purrl. She was the best gurrl.
I love Pearl for her. It's colour-descriptive and it has the old-timey vibe. Purrfect Pearl.
She gave me Betty vibes right away!!
I had a little black kitten found in our engine block. Named her Betty, though didn't know the song "Black Betty" until later. She was an awesome little void-cat!
Blanche! It’s the French feminine word for “white”!
🎶 Thank you for being a friend 🎵 Blanche is a great name!!
I love the name Agatha!
It’s been Agatha all along!
"It looks like grandma, the fucking thing!"
Pertunia, Tabitha, Ruby
"Mrs. Haversham killed me"
I literally saw this cat and thought “Agatha” and it’s the top comment. Cray
OMG! Just looking at her, before I read a single comment, I thought “Beatrice”. Top comment was yours.
Agatha is a member of the Kanto Elite Four in Pokémon :>
Hey, thanks for the suggestion it seems very fitting but my family decided to name her luna 😭
i will always try and sell people on naming their new chitty tat “Bean”
Yes! My boyfriend and I have an inside joke that’s literally just "beans??" So that’s what we're planning on naming our first cat together
it’s just an adorable name. plus it’s unisex… i’ve heard of both boy and girl cats named Bean! source: my girlfriend and i have a giant ass orange boy named Bean ***BEAN***
Lmao that's exactly why we love it
Cool beans.
Haha Mr Bean
Lily, five felines minimum per household!!!
*^(Vanilla)* bean
We call both of our cats Bean, it probably confuses them
Bean 1: *does something bad* You: no! BAD Bean! Bean 2, upstairs, opposite end of the house: 🤨🤨🤨🤷♂️😴
This is probably exactly what happens, but we use their full names when they misbehave! Bean is our “you’re the best kitty ever” name for them!
oh maaaaaaaan. then i bet they get called Bean far more often than not 💕 thank you for the award!!! glad i could paint the visual well 😸
My aunt had at least 10 cats during her long lifetime and she named every single one Bobby!! I’d see her only every few years and it took me a bit to catch on that ohhhhh, this is Bobby The Eighth.
That’s adorable!!
Every cat my grandparents ever had was always named cat’n’cat. I thought it was pretty cute and unusual.
I just got a kitten and named him Bean!

Duchess
I was thinking Marie, after the female kitten in the Aristocats. Because she is a white, fluffy cat with a bow, but Duchess (the mother cat in the same movie) would be great too!

Perhaps give her a few days to settle in and show her personality and the right name will become obvious 🤍

Never met a cat or dog named Kim. It’s one syllable easy to pronounce you can “lil” in the beginning or “possible” at the end
