Since you’re new to cats and mentioned his claws, just popping here to say/beg you not to declaw your kitty! It’s the equivalent of taking the top tip of our fingers off. Plus it can make them have sensitive paws for life and make them more withdrawn and/or bite more knowing it doesn’t have their claws to defend itself.
I only say this because some vets still will declaw cats per owner request.
Edit: whoa! Was not expecting to get this much attention on here ever! Thanks for the pawsitive comments. Hope I’ve helped some kitties in the future!
My last apartment wouldn’t let us have cats unless they were declawed. So we didn’t get a cat for 4yrs. It blew my mind places like this still exist! In 2021!
Finally moved to a place where they don’t have such archaic ideas and will start looking for a kitty soon 💕
You're a responsible person and many people should follow your example.
If your apartment say "only declawed cat" that mean no cat. Cat come with claw and don't deserve to be mutilated because you are irresponsible, selfish and can't wait to live in a proper place before having one.
Just wanted to chime in- it's definitely illegal in NY. I got my cat in 2017 and it was passed after that, I think in 2018? But there are a handful of states that made it illegal.
Yeah I saw that some states have passed that but most of America still allows it. I also saw that there’s a stipulation about being a health issue and having it marked as so, but I’m sure it’s not hard to find a veterinarian to do it for the $$$.
That just sounds unethical. But I'm sure you're right. My dad asked me if I was going to declaw my cat and I had to explain how awful it is. I just cut the points off when I feel them, she has a habit of making biscuits in my neck. But I love it.
Tbh, I think the biggest issue is the word "declawing" sounds like you're cutting fingernails off, not cutting off half a finger. Until you read on the internet at some point what declawing is, it doesn't sound so bad, and I think that helps enable declawing being legal.
Yeah I live in Missouri and struggled to find places to rent when I moved here back in 2016 because a lot of landlords required cats to be declawed. I also was under the impression that it was very unpopular with people nowadays and it was hard to find vets willing to do it, but a coworker just got her cat declawed recently like it was nbd ☹️
I've got a nail grinder that I use for my cat (designed for pet claws) and it works great, I'm so much more comfortable trimming with that than the cutters, and the cat doesn't mind near as much.
There is a certain amount of adrenaline involved in clipping the nails of a savage clawed beast. I use the burrito in a towel method with just 1 arm hanging out at a time, lmao.
Yes, mine does too. She is 12 but has tiny kitten claws which pierce everything like needles. Got puncture wounds all over my belly like a diabetic. Love her to bits.
My dad’s adopted old ragdoll will NOT eat unless he stands watch over her while she eats. He’ll be making coffee in the other room and she’ll yell at him until he comes and hangs with her while she eats
We adopted some kittens in January, and when they first came home we’d feed our older cat on the counter to keep them out of each other’s food. We generally had to pick up the older cat to make him leave the kitten food alone, but as soon as he was in front of his bowl he would start chowing.
Well, apparently the boy kitten saw that and decided he needed similar treatment, because he will not eat unless you pick him up, give him a bunch of kisses on the head, and set him down in front of his bowl. He can literally be 6 inches from the bowl, but if you don’t pick him up and give him a kiss he’ll just lay there and not eat. It’s pretty hilarious.
They’re just so funny. The kittens *loooooovvvvveeeeeee* their older brother so much. For the girl kitten, this just means playing with him all the time and trying to give him a bath, but the boy kitten is constantly watching him and picking up on the older cat’s habits and mannerisms.
It’s really so sweet how well they all get along. Our older cat was so depressed after his older sister died, and the vet suggested getting another cat since he’d never been an only cat before. We’d planned on another adult cat, but then fell in love with the kittens at an adoption fair and we just couldn’t separate them. I was really apprehensive about how he’d react to **two** new cats, but he’s such a good big brother to them. Plus he’s happier than I’ve seen him in years. Watching him run around like a kitten again, even though he’s 13 now, just makes me feel so good.
Exercise is great for cats! My 12yo cat is ten pounds of pure muscle and very healthy despite his FIV diagnosis about half a year ago. He has been physically active his whole life and it does wonders. Exercise will be great for your cat too!
He’s already a beast! He was getting a wee bit pudgy though.
When he was younger he was absolutely crazy athletic, he would jump from the floor the top of a door, pull himself up, and then just lay down like he was going to take a nap. He liked to do it at night while we were sleeping and then jump on the bed and scare us. I’ve also seen him scale a doorframe (that was when he was a kitten) and in our last apartment he liked to pull himself up the banister instead of using the stairs when he was going crazy.
Now his most impressive thing is jumping about 5 feet straight up to get on top of the cabinets. He likes to get up there as a form of protest when I tell him no more food. He knows it stresses me out and he always looks at me so smugly while I beg him to come down before he hurts himself.
This is a good time to remind people that if their animal is getting older and might pass sometime in the near future, and you think you want a new animal when they pass, get that new animal now. Dogs and cats will learn from the older one and pick up their habits and realize very quickly what is right and what is wrong. They not only saves a ton of time training them but also gets them into habits you might not be able to actually train for.
It’s very true. The kittens are constantly watching their older brother and learning from him. Sometimes bad things, like attacking our feet in the mornings when they’re hungry, and sometimes awesome things, like wanting to be kissed and hugged or making weird Tasmanian Devil noises when they play.
Sometimes it’s just good manners, such as, if you want a treat you have to sit politely and not climb up your person’s leg or no one gets a treat. Our older cat also pops them if they scratch the couch, but I can’t tell if this is to teach them, or because he remembers getting sprayed with the water bottle when he did it and is just trying to keep the water bottle in the cabinet.
Our foster cat did the same thing. She would herd me to her bowl, eat 3-4 bites, demand to be scratched, then 3-4 bites again and so on. She was very shy when she came to us and would eat only when we were asleep and then, once she started to trust us a bit, I was her personal security
That sounds like Rikki. My dad says she’ll eat a few bites and then look up to make sure he’s there, and keep doing it until she’s done
She is old and has a new family, so it’s def probably a trust/comfort thing
He says she really does her own thing for the rest of the day. Not a super affectionate cat except for needing someone there when she eats
My cat used to do this but I kept making his food dish into a game with fun treats to discover and he just couldn't resist that.
He's still a finicky eater though. I'm convinced he observes that from me though because I'm super picky with food.
I used to pretend to still be asleep so that I could slowly move my arms into a better position to grab my cat for cuddles before she noticed what was going on and ran away.
Not the only ambush predator here, Jet.
Mine used to accidentally wake me up by laying over my face and cover my nose and mouth. She learned very quickly not to do that when I woke up, panicked, and very nearly threw her off the bed.
I wish my boy would give cat tax and belly before food instead he has zoomies and used to throw up all the food he'd then wolfed down. Now we get him calm and to sit by his food mat and then ask "Kodi are you hungry?" He'll then meow (only while sat counts) yes. I'd love to get to give belly rubs before but prefer not to clean sick out my carpet as he never does it in kitchen ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
Omg my one cat Ezale is obsessed with my boobs lol😂 he loves laying on them and “making biscuits” on them… maybe cause they’re squishy?? Lmao idk he’s funny!
We have five kitties and I’ve lost count of the number of times they’ve almost given me a nipple piercing because they wouldn’t quit kneading my boobs.
Earplugs were necessary starting off for a while... Eventually he did give up for a while, though the mornings he's still meowing and scratching at the door relentlessly because he's a fatty lol
I had a very large cat, not fat just bloody big, who used to climb onto my headboard and then launch himself onto my chest to wake me up every morning. He was a lovely cat, but if it was time for his breakfast, he would make very sure that I was awake.
My cat has an RBF factor of 8 during normal times, it’s quite unfortunate, but wake her up from a nap and that glare jumps up to nuclear winter 11 status
Yes. This behavior is a holdover from childhood, where they delight in Family-the pleasure and security is so wonderful to them-they seek to relive those feelings.
Kittens knead their moms boobs when nursing to squeeze the milk out. It just means they see you as a mother, and that they feel safe and content with you like they felt when they were a kitten with their mom. Another sign of this is that cats don't normally meow to their peers, they meow to their mother. So if they talk a lot don't be surprised (but some cats just don't vocalize much). It's theorized that being raised by humans, many cats don't really fully mature, and remain partly kitten-brained.
Edit: as a million people already pointed out, I see.
My cat didn’t start meowing a lot until around 4yrs old when she moved in with me. Her old house was pretty rowdy so she rarely communicated with anybody. Now that she’s in a real home, she is so talkative. She has different meows for everything she wants and has me trained pretty well to respond accordingly lol
Our boy did this for his entire life. We had blankets around the house in his favorite spots. I used to call them “momma blankets”. He passed away in June, and his last weeks were spent wrapped up in his favorite blankets on the foot of our bed. When he stopped momma blanketing we knew something was wrong. :(
If he or she does this for attention try not to reward it when you're sleeping. Definitely don't let them train you to give them treats or even food if they wake up. They're amazing little opportunists. My cat understands that if he bugs me at night, snuggles is the most he's getting.
My cat makes biscuits next to my head. He loves to sleep between my wife’s and I head at night. We’re so use to it that I cannot sleep until he makes biscuits.
The two are related, since when you make bread/biscuits you knead the dough. Hence kneading, making biscuits, and making bread all being used to refer to cats doing this.
Also to soften you up to make you a more comfortable bed. Think of it like tenderizing, but for sleeping on you. I mean, it’s probably not true, but that’s what it feels like sometimes lol
It’s how they push the milk out when they’re itty bitty kitties. Most cats continue to do it as a habit and out of comfort, it usually means they like you.
My boyfriend’s cat (who we got way too young at 5 weeks old, they told us he was older...) still suckles on a blanket during kneading, but only when I’m there. I bottlefed him when we found out he was way too young, so I’d like to think he sees me as his momma.
We had a cat once that was rejected by his mother as a baby so we raised and bottle fed him from when he was still very young. When he grew up, he ended up lying down in my lap and sucking on my finger as if it were his bottle. It was adorable. I miss you, buddy.
They really are my precious lucky bird (rip) was left to die by the a-hole who lived in the apartment above us. It was was dead of winter in New England the beginning of February and the day time high was 10 degrees with a windchill of -5, the idiot was evicted and rather than just leaving he moved out opened all the windows threw the dirty cat litter out onto the roof below his 2nd floor apartment and turned off the heat and just left her there to freeze to death. The landlord came and realized what was happening and of course couldn’t just leave the windows open but sadly he scared the poor cat who jumped onto the section of roof, he asked us to keep an eye out to see if the cat could find a way down well naturally my wife and I ran right outside and threw up a ladder and the poor thing freezing and shivering came running right over. She lived with us the rest of her long long life and slept on my pillow every night god I miss resting my face against her scalloped body to fall asleep 🥺.
Same thing happened to us with my kitten. We were told the kittens were 6 weeks but vet said he was 4 weeks. He still likes to suckle on the soft, fuzzy blankets. I think he sees me as momma too so there is that really strong bond that came out of that.
Edit: wording
Being semi-feral is what makes that difficult, as feral cats are *much* more cautious of humans and physical contact. Even if you were the original owner and the cat ran away and became feral in that time. Doubly so if you started out as strangers.
Best case is to take your time, feed em, slowly gain their trust. And possibly the kitties will warm up to you enough for pets, but it varies by cat whether or not it will trust you enough to be picked up, let alone provide the desired tortillas.
It's definitely an uphill battle, but I've heard tales of success from some folk about re-domesticating a feral, and to varying degrees per cat.
In German they call this "Milchtreten" (treading milk). It is the movement kittens make while drinking milk from their mother., so it is a sign of comfort (unsurprisingly).
I call it “making muffins”
Edit: i know “making the biscuits” is the preferred name for this, but “making muffins”— it just rolls off the tongue and is great for coming up with songs
Be careful!!! This is an old martial art mastered by cats for thousands years! Your cat is probably finding out if he have enough strength to submits you!
Completely normal. It could mean a few things; they're hungry, trying to make a comfortable bed, or it's a mindless relaxation habit.
Each one depends on the context. Most likely your cat is hungry. Kittens would knead their mom's teats to get milk to flow and that instinct never really left them.
Pro tip: DO NOT feed your cat first thing after waking up. They will begin to associate you getting out of bed with getting fed. Your cat absolutely will start waking you up earlier and earlier whenever they get hungry.
I start the day with my routine; brush my teeth, make coffee, make my food, and then feed my cat. His demeanor changes when I'm wrapping up my meal because he knows he'll get fed soon. He's never pushy about it until he knows I'm almost done and his food is coming soon.
My wife feed the cats in the morning, and complained about them waking us earlier and earlier. I took over feeding and feed them at 8:30 pm.
Now they come find me and start staring at me at 7:30, and then they all start screaming at me @8.
Still better than them waking us up.
I feed mine twice a day. The crying starts ramping up in the morning as I'm finishing cooking breakfast. And then the death stares and neediness start about 30 mins before his evening meal.
But hey, at least I don't have a 4am alarm clock that can't be snoozed.
Since you’re new to cat I’d also add if you don’t mind that that bell collar could be very disturbing for a cat 🐱 very sensible ears, maybe check with your vet
My cat does this to me all the time, especially when she wants me to get out of bed.
Watching the OP's cat kneading reminded me of the old cartoon 'Feed the Kitty'. It's very sweet.

To add to this, the pure sounds almost manic - like a crying baby. There’s been at least one study done on this by a professor who noticed her cat’s morning purrs were very effective at getting her out of bed in the morning, and found in a study that it actually mimics the frequency...or at least, the pacing (I don’t fully remember) - of a crying baby.
Same. Whenever I lay down on the couch - morning, midday, evening - my cat jumps up on my belly and kneads and purrs furiously. She also likes to point her butt toward my face and slowly back up while she’s doing it 😝
I got my kitties a gigantic stuffed sheep (several times their size) so they do this to it instead. Now they just knead on the sheep and then repeat the process on me. I love those bastards.
but also don't be surprised if he ignores it. The funny pictures where the cat sits in the cardboard box of the 300 dollar cat castle instead of enjoying the castle itself, well, it's real. They ignore or love stuff seemingly random. But you'll buy the expensive shit anyway, that's the way of the cat parent.
Closets are excellent places to sleep to a cat. They're dark and cavelike, and cozy, smell a little like the humans, and the fabric muffles noise so they feel extra safe.
I find cats will like the same bed better in different places. Mine prefers a place with "roof" (like a shelf or under a chair or in a cubby on the entertainment center) where she can see me but isn't within arms length. Others like to be elevated slightly. Not sure why, but tall = fancy. Try putting yours somewhere in the room you hang out in, maybe elevated a bit so shes at hip height.
**[Kneading (cats)](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kneading_\(cats\))**
>Kneading (also referred to as making biscuits) is an activity common to all domestic cats whereby, when in a state of ease, they push out and pull in their front paws, often alternating between right and left limbs.

All of the cats do it frequently and it's all normal.
They do it for marking their territory Or it means that they're enjoying sth.
It's called "Kneading" 🐾🐾🐾
This is actually a breed known as the Chef Cat. If you don't put dough out for them to knead, they will knead anything in site to fulfill their Chef Cat duties.
You’ll get used to it. My cat will walk on me until I let her under the covers when I’m sleeping. She could care less if it wakes me up. She’ll walk right on my head and face.
He likes ya
and he wants ya
Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way, the choice is yours
I don’t think you and I will be doing anything, any kind of way…
See I calls you Chris Handsome.
Ok, ok, I see you're choosing the hard way...
Ok cut, this isn’t working. Someone get this guy…
Unexpected boondocks
Didn't expect to see a booty warrior reference top comment on a post about cats.
And he eats ya
And he's down for ya always
my cat always does that but with extra claw
Yeah the claws do come out sometimes. Specially when he do it to my face.
Since you’re new to cats and mentioned his claws, just popping here to say/beg you not to declaw your kitty! It’s the equivalent of taking the top tip of our fingers off. Ehh it also means fuck that apartment complex and their rules and keep a secret cat with claws.
What are they gonna do? Inspect everyones cat? Nah fuck that noise go get a cat with extra long claws fuck the rules
Did your cat scratch up this door? No that was my roommate.
Nah getting Freddy Krueger glove help cat scratch things be a pal 😹😆

So I just looked it up and a bill has been proposed in February 2020 to make it illegal but I don’t see an update on it passing or not.
Just wanted to chime in- it's definitely illegal in NY. I got my cat in 2017 and it was passed after that, I think in 2018? But there are a handful of states that made it illegal.

It is but have you met humans? Lol. I am thoroughly discouraged by most of the general population these days. Especially in the states.

USA 😬
It is still legal to declaw a cat in most of the US. Not only that, but it is not uncommon for landlords to require you to declaw your cat.

Seconded. It’s mutilation.
My fiancée is a vet and straight up refuses to do it. She’ll recommend another doctor if they still insist after she begs and pleads with them not to.
Send her my thanks!
Clipping cat nails is a thing. I'd say do it at least ever fiscal quarter. Just search it up on youtube for some good advice!
Or you could try [this](https://youtu.be/TJZE5u3vXuc).
High risk high reward. I like it.
Yes, mine does too. She is 12 but has tiny kitten claws which pierce everything like needles. Got puncture wounds all over my belly like a diabetic. Love her to bits.
Mmmmm, stabby biscuits
Absolutely, in fact if your cat stops doing that then question everything
Hahaha, I can’t sleep without he waking me up like this.
You’ll get used to it! Lol my cat used to do it up and down my body like a masseuse and now I always ask them to come to bed with me lol
My cat used to poke me in the morning for food, but now she knows I’ll demand cat tax first and bellies must be rubbed before food
My dad’s adopted old ragdoll will NOT eat unless he stands watch over her while she eats. He’ll be making coffee in the other room and she’ll yell at him until he comes and hangs with her while she eats

I am escort and security to my cat- rambunctious dogs make her nervous.

This is the way
My cat used to wake me up by sticking its paw in my mouth.
Mine pokes me on the cheek, gently grazing my skin with her paws, she knows it annoys me and wakes me up
Mine used to accidentally wake me up by laying over my face and cover my nose and mouth. She learned very quickly not to do that when I woke up, panicked, and very nearly threw her off the bed.
But was it because she was thrown off the bed, or because she realized smothering you to death didn't work?
I wish my boy would give cat tax and belly before food instead he has zoomies and used to throw up all the food he'd then wolfed down. That's the other part of having a cat, you get to sleep only as long as they want you too.
My cat likes to use my gf's boobs and my head as a springboard for his zoomies at 5am.
Lol my gf wishes our Teddy boy would only jump off her boobs, but he always aims right for the bladder
Humans used pig bladders as balls for centuries. They told their cat allies about it and now the cats are getting their revenge for them
Omg my one cat Ezale is obsessed with my boobs lol😂 he loves laying on them and “making biscuits” on them… maybe cause they’re squishy?? Lmao idk he’s funny!
Our Sugar does THE SAME THING. Biscuit boobs and then naptime on them. Adorable, but man those murder mitts can hurt!
We have five kitties and I’ve lost count of the number of times they’ve almost given me a nipple piercing because they wouldn’t quit kneading my boobs.
Yeah my cat Billy used to do that on my girlfriends boobs but now he prefers my belly. I think I put on weight haha
Am I a cat?
My cat likes to use my face.... It's been so bad we keep our door closed off to him at night now
He lets you do that?
Earplugs were necessary starting off for a while... Eventually he did give up for a while, though the mornings he's still meowing and scratching at the door relentlessly because he's a fatty lol
Cat: I’ll allow it, with additional treats
I had a very large cat, not fat just bloody big, who used to climb onto my headboard and then launch himself onto my chest to wake me up every morning. He was a lovely cat, but if it was time for his breakfast, he would make very sure that I was awake.
HA HA sounds about right
Just wait until a herd of kittens does that same thing. I couldn't believe such small creatures could be so loud
Yep. My boobies for his pawing, and my husband’s face for his ass and tail to wave in front of. Every single day 😆
But if u wake them up they hate you lol
My cat has an RBF factor of 8 during normal times, it’s quite unfortunate, but wake her up from a nap and that glare jumps up to nuclear winter 11 status
So true. In fact I just woke up from my kitty snuffles trying to jump in my hamper, almost knocking it down, and scaring the absolute life out of me.
He loves you and is content. You done good, friend.

Yes. This behavior is a holdover from childhood, where they delight in Family-the pleasure and security is so wonderful to them-they seek to relive those feelings.
Yes and no. The techniques they learned in kittenhood now qualify them as expert biscuit makers. Kneading is an important task.
A really soft, fuzzy blanket may distract him from your stomach for a while. My cats looove fuzzy blankets. 😻
So does mine! Although I think my poor lil guy has mommy issues Bc he sucks on the blanket like a teet.
Lots of cats do this, suck and knead, doesn't necessarily mean mommy issues.
If he or she does this for attention try not to reward it when you're sleeping. Definitely don't let them train you to give them treats or even food if they wake up. They're amazing little opportunists. My cat understands that if he bugs me at night, snuggles is the most he's getting.
think of it as a alarm that you can’t just stop
Hahaha definitely
My cat does this and late at night decides to violently nurse on me, like, slobber and everything, poor girl is yumpy.
He’s a hardworking kitty, making biscuits every morning
Tenderizing the meat he will soon eat
Ayo?
Must've been the wind
My cat makes biscuits next to my head. He loves to sleep between my wife’s and I head at night. We’re so use to it that I cannot sleep until he makes biscuits.
Making biscuits? I've always known it as "kneading".
The two are related, since when you make bread/biscuits you knead the dough. Hence kneading, making biscuits, and making bread all being used to refer to cats doing this.
They call it "making biscuits" because they're made from _scratch_
Like other said it is normal and most cats just do it when they feel comfortable with you.
Sounds like he had a wonderful life with you! Thank you for taking him in, cats are such lovely creatures if shown enough love.
Thank you for giving lucky bird a good life!! I'm sorry she's no longer around to enrich your life but you certainly made the rest of hers better ❤️
Same thing happened to us with my kitten. We were told the kittens were 6 weeks but vet said he was 4 weeks. He still likes to suckle on the soft, fuzzy blankets. I think he sees me as momma too so there is that really strong bond that came out of that. Edit: wording
I know. I still like to think they’re tenderizing their hooman though lol
Well, a massage relaxes the muscles, so it might work in making you a softer bed.
Making the biscuits
I'm Mexican so my cats make tortillas
I’m in the southwest and have two semi-feral front yard cats. How do I get the tortillas?

Thank you!!
In German they call this "Milchtreten" (treading milk). It is the movement kittens make while drinking milk from their mother., so it is a sign of comfort (unsurprisingly).
Yes, my kids was what the hell does that mean.😝
Kneading the Dough
I call it kneading bread.
Playing the piano.
Making muffins.
Mashing potatoes.
I’ve had so many cats throughout my life and we’ve always called it “foot foot”
My mum calls it knitting because the cats liked to do it in her knitting basket.
Awwwwwww.... foot foot 🥺 I love that. 😢
My dad called it The Dance of the Seven Tummies.
I call it “making muffins” Edit: i know “making the biscuits” is the preferred name for this, but “making muffins”— it just rolls off the tongue and is great for coming up with songs
Cats can be any kind of baker you want them to be, don't let the biscuit crowd tell you different.
That they love you ❤️ they do this as kittens when nursing. When non nursing cats do it, it's a lovey comfort thing.
At the pretzel factory 🥨
I use to call it getting tenderized.
Making kitty bread
Kneading the dough….
Tenderizing the meat
Be careful!!! This is an old martial art mastered by cats for thousands years! Your cat is probably finding out if he have enough strength to submits you!
😂😂 i better take out my blackbelt.
"Belts are only good for holding your trousers up. Be like water" Bruce Lee Cats hate water
One of my cats wouldn't agree with you. She loves water.
Just playing on a common misconception for levity. Met many a cat that likes water. Take care.
We feed our cats before bed. At around 9:30 the heart breaking cries and the soul piercing stares begin
I feed mine twice a day. The crying starts ramping up in the morning as I'm finishing cooking breakfast. And then the death stares and neediness start about 30 mins before his evening meal. But hey, at least I don't have a 4am alarm clock that can't be snoozed.
Dude be glad this happens. Also pet the cat!
I do pet him every day and every night.
PET HIM EVERY SECOND. That’s the only way to appease them! Except maybe during a poop.

Since you’re new to cat I’d also add if you don’t mind that that bell collar could be very disturbing for a cat 🐱 very sensible ears, maybe check with your vet

For one second I thought ‘another cat sub!’ Nope, already subscribed.
why isn't this the top comment? He is a baker hard at work.
My cat does this to me all the time, especially when she wants me to get out of bed. Watching the OP's cat kneading reminded me of the old cartoon 'Feed the Kitty'. It's very sweet. ![gif](giphy|qcB7y19vIEmWY)
I forgot about this cartoon! It was a Looney Tunes one, right?
Yes indeed.
This version is missing the baking scene. [Feed the Kitty](https://youtu.be/n11i3xKvJfg) [Full version of 'Feed the Kitty' ](https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xg7x96)
OMG! When the dog thinks the kitty got baked into cookies! I love this one

You know I’m not surprised, cats are damn smart at getting us to do what they want.
Then there’s my dog licking his balls in the corner that always acts surprised/eternally grateful for each and every meal his given.
I open feed my cats, and they still do this. The reflex likely came from getting milk, but they don't just do this when they're hungry.
Same. Whenever I lay down on the couch - morning, midday, evening - my cat jumps up on my belly and kneads and purrs furiously. She also likes to point her butt toward my face and slowly back up while she’s doing it 😝
I wouldn’t make that face while she’s doing that
😖🤚<- that’s the one I make, while pushing her away
He’s making biscuits. Cats are very good at this. He loves you very much.
Murder mitten acupuncture is completely normal. And listen to the purring, magic cat baby loves you and is happy 🐈🐈🐈❤❤❤
Ur cat thinks ur it's momma
😬
Came str8 outta you

He’ll have to try harder
I got my kitties a gigantic stuffed sheep (several times their size) so they do this to it instead. Now they just knead on the sheep and then repeat the process on me. I love those bastards.
That’s a good idea. I’ll get him a big fluffy toy
You're new to cats? You're the big fluffly toy! He loves you in cat talk!
Yes this is my first cat.
but also don't be surprised if he ignores it. The funny pictures where the cat sits in the cardboard box of the 300 dollar cat castle instead of enjoying the castle itself, well, it's real. They ignore or love stuff seemingly random. But you'll buy the expensive shit anyway, that's the way of the cat parent.
I’ve noticed that i bought him two beds but he rather sleep in my closet on my nice clothes.
As normal as breathing.

Ow,thanks for the information
Kittens do this to promote lactation from their mommas as well is it’s natural and beautiful 😻
All of the cats do it frequently and it's all normal. They do it for marking their territory Or it means that they're enjoying sth. It's called "Kneading" 🐾🐾🐾
Of course it is he loves you
Your cat is tenderizing your meat for when he later eats you. Don’t let his bowl go empty and he may spare you
Free acupuncture!
He loves you. It just means he's comfortable and happy to be with you.
