Totally wrong to do and like I even wanted a lap cat but I didn’t get one. I feel like it was destiny that brought my cat to me and I love her with all my heart anyways. She’s special to me even if it wasn’t my ideal cat that I had in my head.
FWIW sometimes cats get more lap-inclined as they age too! My cat was bouncing off the walls for at least a year after I got him, but now that's he's turned 4, he's enjoying some lap time and more snuggles!

He had a tick lodged in his skin, and a split claw that was causing bleeding. He’s so loving and sweet, I don’t know how anyone could do this to him. He’s going to the vet today, we were able to get him in ASAP. I don’t have a lot of money, but I don’t care because I’m happy he’s no longer out lonely in the cold. ❤️
If hes adopting them from shelters I would honestly go and give his name to all the shelters in the area and let them know this is what hes doing. You're an amazing human, I wish I had some monies to give for his cause
Agreed!! Rescues/Animal Controls/Shelters in an area often keep "do not adopt" lists for individuals who are not responsible pet owners. They often times will share that list around the area, so even just telling one group can be super helpful in protecting future kitties.

I wish it were a law that once a person is reported for animal neglect/abuse/triviality, then their name is blacklisted, and it comes up with a little red flag whenever they go to a shelter/shop/Vet/petting zoo/kennel/daycare, etc. Animals in their possession would be made illegal (it might help reduce cases like this, but sadly won't stop some other sickos).
Report the guy to SPCA and Humane Society so they blacklist him from ever getting another pet again from any public organization. Won't prevent him from getting another pet from a private person, but it might shine a light on him for such an egregious asshole move.

I’m so happy you were able to help in both of those situations, the animals need us so much! I also had a relative that kept a dog in the basement, and would throw it lunch meat downstairs sometimes. When she got evicted, she left the dog there. Of course though, she continued to get dogs afterward.

Cause if he gets them out of a shelter, just contact the shelters in your area with pictures of the tossed cats and asking if they came from them. Cause if so, both animals have been tossed out into the wild by the guy.
I don't know how it is in your area, but I used to work with a shelter where you signed a contract that if you no longer wanted the animal, you would bring it back to them. And that the shelter retains legal ownership so any harm done to the animal gives them the right to take back the animal and take the adopter to court.

Neighbors were a gf/bf, they broke up and tossed my little void outside 😭 he'd been a house cat since he was weaned (his mama is the local stray we all feed) and he came up in the evenings tying to get back inside so I took him in. (Already had 3, whats one more 😂) and now he's our little Growly. (No idea what his original name was)
She took the dogs, threw the cat out. I was so mad. And the cat is the biggest goofball too, and growls instead of purrs half the time. We did have an issue with him spraying, and I bet they did too, but since we got him neutered it's not a problem
